I didn’t have a warm shower once here, always out of hot water so it was freezing cold. 6 person dorms are cramped and there was a private room connected that exited out of the dorm. Because of this. The people in the private room didnt care about locking the dorms door so anyone could get in. Lockers are too small to fit any sort of bag at all. A pain to walk 30min to the bus stop everyday to get anywhere. Go somewhere else

Worst hostel I have ever stayed at staff are super cold and unfriendly when you arrive I was really shocked, the atmosphere and vibes are weird. It is also cliquey and hard to make friends. If you are unsure definitely book elsewhere for a better atmosphere. It's also far from beaches and a 30 min walk up a hill every day to the bus.

I would not recommend this place. Staff is not very friendly and location/rooms are very mediocre. I booked a shuttle to the airport at 6am for one person. When the shuttle arrived, they told me that the hostel reserved for 2 people and therefore I would have to pay double even though I was one person. I basically was forced to pay 30 euros for a less than 10 min drive to the airport. I told the hostel about this and they did nothing. Would not go back and I do not recommend.

We had an unusual encounter with a disruptive traveler during the night (not the hostel’s fault), but the staff handled it quickly and professionally. They made sure everyone felt safe and taken care of — really appreciated how well they managed the situation.

Really cool place. But the beds were very squeaky - hard to get a good nights sleep

The staff are so nice and welcoming here, for my third hostel experience this was amazing! Clean bedding and sheets provided and small face towel inc! However the rooms get so cold during the night if not in summer seasons due to the cute nature and architecture of the buildings the doors do not close properly adds to the character but not great if it's cold outside!!!

The property was beautiful and in a good location for young travelers. Facilities could use some work, but were perfectly fine for a short trip. Had one issue with a (frankly quite rude) volunteer, where I was double charged for a taxi service, who told me they did not complete my booking when they had in fact. Great community atmosphere at this hostel!

The aesthetics are cool, big pool and many details BUT I could feel the mattress springs so bad, that my ribs hurt! In my 10 ppl room, there was NO AC, forcing us to sleep with windows open during my entire stay (I asked them about it twice and nothing changed). People always left their stuff all over the floor and never used the lockers OR locked the bedroom’s door – even if I did, next time the door would be wide open for anyone to come in. 1 of the receptionists lacked professionalism.

Outdated shower. It was a bit faulty and very cramped. The private bedroom didn’t have AC while the shared rooms did. I loved the staff!

LOVE LOVE LOVE, staff were so so lovely and helpful! I found it very social and free brekkie is so good when everything on Santorini is so expensive!

This is your sign. If you’re a solo traveler who wants to feel safe, make friends and memories, and get a good value, come to cave town. It’s a home away from home. Best hostel ever - love yall

It was my first time in Santorini, and staying at this hostel made the trip even better. The host was very helpful with recommendations on what to see and do around the island, and also helped me arrange airport transfer. The atmosphere was amazing, everyone was friendly and welcoming, and the hostel felt very social, making it easy to meet new people and make friends. Overall, an excellent hostel with a great vibe.

Genuinely one of the best hostel stays I’ve ever experienced in my life. Great people, great hostel, great location, solo traveller friendly. No better place to stay in beautiful Santorini, ya mas 🫶🏻

My favourite hostel i have ever stayed at. I’m so sad to be leaving, I had such an amazing stay here. The staff are so kind and helpful. The place is so beautiful and a good location. I made so many friends as a solo traveller and will definitely be back again.

I loved the free breakfast! The private room was nice but bathroom wasn’t overly clean and there was no service or wifi in the room. The location is also not ideal. However, the staff were nice, loved the breakfast and the property was cute.

Un lieu très sympa, propre, accueillant ! Propice à des rencontres avec des gens du monde entier. Literie confortable et petit déjeuner succulent ! Je recommande 1000 fois !!

Es un buen lugar, y la relación precio - calidad me parecen razonables. Creo que lo único que agregaría, sería añadir algo más de ropa de abrigo para las camas en esta época del año (inicio de primavera), que en las noches se pone más fresco el ambiente.

This place is like a little boho village- I loved it! The room was spacious and sooo cute, the breakfast was amazing, the staff were very helpful and friendly- I loved everything about it. You can walk to Fira or take a bus but it was a pleasant walk and easy to get to anywhere in Santorini from Fira. Loved Caveland!!!

Great, would have appreciated better toilets,or actual milk in breakfast, but rest was amazing :)

This hostel is a solo traveler’s dream!! It was so special and I enjoyed my stay so much that I chose to stay here the whole time I was in Santorini instead of getting an Airbnb for part of it as I had originally planned. It’s a very nice facility but they also create such a special experience with planned events from catamaran tours to movie nights outside watching mamma Mia. I loved my time here and hope to come back in the future.

It felt like paradise to me. If was so beautiful, such an original hostel with such extremely friendly staff. The breakfast was really nice as well. The location is great, it's not directly in the centre, so it's less busy. But it's not so far from the centre and there are busses everywhere. Everything was just great, I had a great time! 🌞

Best hostel in Santorini. Huge place tons of sitting areas a nice big pool. Everyone was so nice and they had super cheap motorcycle rentals. The shower (although gorgeous and “cavelike”) had no shower curtain so water would get everywhere but honestly i didn’t even notice it. The location isn’t that close to Fira but with a motorcycle it doesn’t matter. Has a great time everyone was welcoming and the reception gave me many tips on where to go easy and sightseeing and everything. Would...

I don't often write reviews for hostels, but this one deserves a 10/10 review. One of the best hostels I've stayed in. I highly recommend, especially if you are solo travelling, as it will be impossible not to meet people and make friends. A huge thank you to the amazing Caveland team Sara, Lucca and Christa who made the experience so memorable.

One of the best, if not the best, hostel I’ve ever stayed it. Stunning location and pool ( little bit of. walk from Fira but worth it for the quiet) Great breakfast, amazing staff (shout out to Christa, Sara and Luca) and just such a well designed space for community. I hope I get to go back one day xx

El alojamiento, la hospitalidad y todos los servicios asociados increíble. Es un espacio en el que te sientes como en casa. Incentivan mucho el compartir, incluso hubo un día que hicieron una cena y después vimos Mamma Mia, hermosa experiencia. Lo super recomiendo. Lo que hay considerar es que está a 25min caminando a Fira, igual si caminas 7min a la avenida principal, puedes tomar un bus a Fira sin problema.
