Abode Mooloolaba

Left after the first of two nights. Had three male roomates who were filthy. One hogged the bathroom all night (literally had to walk to public restroom) and the other two kept their items all over the floor. Lots of long term stayers at this hostel so weird atmosphere for travelers. The ac was only trickling out mid temp air and it was so humid at night it was impossible to sleep with 98% humidity. Been to about seven hostels so far and never had to leave one after one night till now.

The showers didn’t lock and only one of the them actually closed. The rooms smelt musty and old. When I first arrived the sheets had brown and black stains however the staff were helpful and changed them. This hostel is very expensive for what you get

Trash place, trash crowd

Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en open. Ze verwelkomen je en leggen alles duidelijk uit. De kamer is niet super. Ontzettend duur als je het mij vraagt. 4 nachten voor bijna 400 euro is echt veel geld voor 2 persoons kamer in deze staat. De badkamers van de heren waren smerig. Ik denk niet dat ze de heren badkamer hebben schoongemaakt. Overal haren, nattigheid en toiletten waren vies. Ook onze kamer 0x schoongemaakt. We hebben 4 dagen met dezelfde handdoeken gedaan.... te duur hostel!

Don’t recommend. Most people are living here and it’s not social at all. The lady who checked me in was also rude and didn’t tell me anything about the hostel.

Wouldn't bother with Sunshine Coast or this hostel tbh. Wasn't any atmosphere, location was on a main road. Staff were friendly but the place is pretty dated. No curtains on the beds, bunk beds squeak. No cold water from the taps. Just nothing really happening here and everyone seemed to keep to themselves

I checked out earlier for personal reasons and I got great help from the staff and got a refund. It’s a nice place, close to the beach

L'eau chaude dans la douche doit être une option !! La douche froide dès le matin, c'est pas très agréable

Overall the facilities are ok- it says communal areas close at 10 but people were sat outside the room drinking until early hours of the morning. The kitchen is clean most of the time but gets very busy very quickly and does not have enough space for the amount of people trying to cook at one time! A lot of long term people staying here so didn’t find the atmosphere overly friendly for a solo traveller. Good for a night or two as a stop over

Bathrooms were very dirty at all times during the day! Kitchen was small for the number of people. The staff were more interested in partying half the time than helping. The pool was a good bonus and the private room was good. Lots of people had jobs during the day then partied at night, so quite loud especially on weekends

the rooms were too small as the bathrooms, It could be cleanear too

This hostel was great! The staff is very welcoming and friendly. the rooms are top-notch (mattresses and quality pillows) and there’s nothing wrong with the cleanliness. the spaces and amenities are good (parking, swimming pool, etc.). I highly recommend this hostel

Really enjoyed staying here. The private room was lovely!! The man at the front desk was so nice.

I loved my stay at Abode Mooloolaba, the staff are all incredibly friendly and there are lots of good vibes there from the people staying and everyone is just glad to get to know you. I loved the activities they had such as sausage sizzle Thursdays and cheese and wine Sundays. The kitchen was also great. My bed and room was very clean and the beds are quite comfortable. I enjoy the pool table and pool but the place could use a dart board or something too.

Auberge top super bien équipé, juste à côté d’un arrêt de bus. Personnels parfait

Super Hostel mit Frühstück inklusive, sehr gute und chillige Atmosphäre. Auch wenn es bisschen außerhalb ist, würde ich es trotzdem sehr empfehlen und sie bieten einen regelmäßigen Shuttle an.

War eigentlich alles ok, personal oder staff die für die aktivitäten zuständig war, war eher komisch und unfreundlich. Sehr arrogantes verhalten

Amazing stay lovely hostel if you’re staying in Mooloolaba, the staff were especially friendly and accommodating and the location was good

Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und es gab Surfboards zum Ausleihen for free.

Loved our stay here. Super clean, staff were lovely and facilities were great.

SUPER clean and everybody is friendly and have the best time of their lives.

Room is clean and beds very comfy. Staff were friendly and helpful. This is more a long term hostel, so people were not so friendly with solo travellers. The only downside is that they should have more stoves for the amount of people staying there

Abgesehen von der Küche war alles sehr schön. Die Küche ist leider sehr klein.

Kitchen was spotless! Loved having the pool as there’s not much to do around the area. Great for a few days to reset

Das Hostel war wirklich toll. Die Atmosphäre war überaus gut, die anderen Leute im Hostel waren sehr sozial und super nett. Wir fühlten uns dort sehr wohl und hatten die lustigsten Abende mit den anderen Leuten. Auch die Mitarbeiter*innrn waren immer hilfsbereit und auch in eher schwereren Situationen sehr verständnisvoll!! Das Hostel ist total zu empfehlen!

Great hostel. Pool table (which was free) was fun, staff were kind and a really great atmosphere. Room was clean and had everything we needed!
