They had harassment towards my mother and financially abused her to the point of my extradition where it was temporarily the only place I could afford to live at. They still stalk me and talk behind my back and rob my Medicine through word of mouth.
honestly this place is quite disgusting. i felt so unclean the entire time. the kitchen is filthy and FILLED with bugs crawling everywhere. the rooms felt dirty and the window didnt shut so we had mosquitoes flying in and biting us. the bathroom was also quite gross, hair everywhere, dirty water on the floor, and roaches. i wish i knew all of this before booking because i never would have stayed. the room (priv) was crazy small, barely had room for our tiny suitcases, plus stains on the sheets
The hostel was very dirty. Especially the kitchen. The room was occupied by someone who probably lived there long-term and had spread their stuff all over. Did not feel so comfortable. Staff was friendly though.
This guy don’t know the word… Respect ! Noise until 1am and couldn’t sleep, the guy at the reception said : you’re young, enjoy and don’t sleep. Terrible
The room was dirty and had a bad smell. There was no cooling except a cheap fan on the floor. We had a room on the outside of the building so felt unsafe and didn't want to open the window. To access a toilet we had to unlock the front door of the property to get in and then use the toilet. The shared shower was always busy and after charging us $100 a night for the dirty room, they had the cheek to want $2 for a towel!!
In two days they stole us a lot of food, a few clothes left 5 minutes in the washing machine. Shared room are really small. Defently not a great atmosphere. Terrible kitchen, no one clean and the staff dosent care

Brilliant little hostel in an ideal location. Staff are all volunteers needing accommodation themselves so the whole place is very social but also very homely due to its smaller stature.

+ Muy buena ubicacion. me gusto la mesa de pool y el ambiente. excelente para conocer gente y si vas de paso por la ciudad.
- las camas podrian sentirse mas limpias al igual que las instalaciones en general. el banio compartido podria estar en mejores condiciones
+ The location is great! Close to the center and the beach.
- There are too many volunteers occupying all the facilities all the time of day. It's astonishing how many cockroaches there are in the kitchen, also in the bedroom, we even saw them in the bathrooms. The bed's padding was dirty and smelly. We used our sleeping bags. Sometimes people smoked in the bathroom... also in the back common area that is covered with a tarp. The atmosphere wasn't as friendly as in other hostels.

+ Good location, nice clean place.
- The common room is open for smoking making it good for cancer fans. The doors on the rooms have a loud locking mechanism that can be heard at all hours of day/night.
+ I had contacted the property prior to arrival as I thought our room had 2 bunk beds but in fact it only had one. My friend and I are both in our 60s so was concerned about one of us getting to the top bunk. To my pleasant surprise, when we arrived we had been upgraded to a room with two bunk beds which was great.
- It was quite noisy both late at night and early in the morning. This is probably because the building is heritage so the walls are a bit thin.

- The hostel has a lot of long term guests which can make the place feel more like a share house than a hostel. This affects tidyness and also the social vibe. No real solution to this though
