Can Mocamp

I abandoned one full night of my payment and left early. I took the “bungalow” for 50 euros a night. It’s a wooden doll house with only one bed, one fan, and one trash can. The fan doesn’t work in weather over 35°C, making the room hotter than outside. The wooden house was full of bugs, and the electricity went out three times. Also wifi is non existent. So I slept with lights on to scare the bugs away + fully wet myself so I can get a couple hours of sleep. Dirty washrooms and showers....

Please don't come here, I booked for 1 night, but when I checked my bill I realized that they charged me 2 nights price on my Visa card! I never experienced such kind of hostel, just share my bad experiences as your reference!

Only without expensive rooms, they sell the idea to those who want to dive for something special and nothing. For 2 or 5 euros more you have a hotel room with your own bathroom and breakfast. Rude and lousy service. You ask them to open a bottle of wine for you and they make you feel uncomfortable asking you for 10 Euros. You order in the restaurant and want your own drink they rudely run you. The bathrooms are insufficient, the beach you have to pay for 200 liras. There are beaches a thou

Not a fridge, they don’t even give a glass of water for free, very profit oriented place. Prices are as well more expensive than in other places.

The hostel itself was nice, but the attention not so much. The wi fi was terrible, it didn't reach the dorms. There was never enough toilet paper and the toilets and dorms weren't very clean. I asked if I could have some hot water for my mate (similar to tea) and they were very weird about it. After their refusal, I just went to a nearby restaurant, asked for hot water and they gave it to me WITH A SMILE AND FOR FREE! Simple. Not such a nice vibe in my experience.

In general we would recommend this hostel (atmosphere & rooms great, staff FRIENDLY!) but not now. Right now they have a huge BEDBUG problem. We stayed one night in the bungalow, there we saw bedbugs. The staff moved us easily in the suite (no extra charge). They were really friendly, offered to wash our clothes & to spray them with pesticides. After one night in the suite we found bedbugs again! We heard about cases in the mixed dorms too. The staff was really nice & we got a full refund.

It was nice peaceful stay. It perfectly suits people who want to dive. There is no social life in it tho and it’s hard to meet people and the restaurant is limited and pricy but it’s about 20 mins walk to center where you can find everything so the location is great and the bed and rooms are nice with good AC and clean + they have lovely cats moving around!

The hostel itself is nice (breakfast, pool, dorms are all great) but it's far from the city center. Would recommend getting a scooter to get around. There was also no social atmosphere while I was staying there.

If you want to fill your water bottle, they charge you $$. This is the first hostel I’ve ever stayed in that does that. The breakfast is good and the location is okay, but the 20 minute walk feels a lot longer than you’re expecting. Since there’s no fridge for guests to keep groceries, you will need to walk there and back regularly if you don’t want to eat at the hostel restaurant.

Slightly disappointed as this property was rated so highly. Quite expensive for Turkey, but felt more like a budget hostel. Facilities were mediocre, rooms were average, and location wasn’t great either. There seems to be better properties for the same price - I would choose those.

I had a wonderful time at Can Mocamp, the beds were comfortable, people kind, and the sea view from the hostel was stunning.

I stayed here yesterday and loved it! The staff was so friendly and let me stay although they are closing for the season- they even upgraded me to one of the bungalows for free since I was one of the only guests! I definitely recommend staying in the bungalows if you can, it was so beautiful and relaxing + perfect to have an evening to myself since I’m a backpacker. (Usually in dorms) Definitely recommend!

my stay at Can Mocamp was so peaceful and such a lovely place in the middle of my trip. The hostel is well located (20mins walk from bus station & center + bus service just near the hostel). The view, the restaurant & the super chill atmosphere (decoration, pool): everything is made to make you feel cool. The staff is super nice and welcoming, breakfast is great. The only downside is the cleanliness… + just so that you know before booking: dorms can’t be locked, but I felt safe anyway

I had a very pleasant stay at this hostel! The staff was amazing and helpful! Breakfast was delicious as well! It was very relaxing in the common areas and by the pool. I also enjoyed the walk into town. I would definitely recommend this hostel for anyone planning a trip to Kas!

Sweet staff & awesome breakfast! It's quite a walk to the center of Kaş, but apart from that it's an awesome place :) I'd definitely come again!

I had a great stay here as a solo female traveller. The hostel has a chilled, social atmosphere and I was able to meet a few people and spend time with them. The hostel is a 20 minute walk from the town, but it wasn't too much of an issue as I would be out all day and come home in the evening. Also, I went diving with Can and had a really great time. I was a little nervous but he was super calm and patient, and this helped to calm my nerves a lot. Overall, a really nice and warm experience :) ...

I loved staying at Can Mocamp. First of all, the view is amazing, I sat at the table overlooking the sea and enjoyed the view. Employees and volunteers are friendly and open to communication. The owner, Mr.Can takes care of the guests kindly. I stayed at a dorm of the hostel part. Best hostel I've ever stayed in:) It is 20 minutes walking distance to the city center. It is close to public beaches. The breakfasts are very delicious. I can't wait to come back again:) Thank you

Great hostel. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The staff is incredibly friendly and you feel very comfortable. The location is also good, you only have to walk about 15 minutes into town. The breakfast is good. Overall, I would come back anytime :)

I stayed in 6 hostels this month, and this one is by far the best! Comfortable beds with curtains, a pool, and stunning views of the marina and mountains. Quiet location, yet only 15–20 min walk (or €2–3 taxi) to the city. The owner and staff are amazing, breakfast is served daily with a smile, and they go above and beyond (can even waited for me at midnight). Great vibes, beautiful design, easy to make friends. Truly the hostel to be!

Very nice hostel with amazing hosts and great breakfast, pool and dorms. Bit out of town, but worth the walk.

Loved my stay here. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Great Turkish breakfast that is included. Came to kas to dive, and everything was organized through the hostel, made everything easy. Great, chill spots to hangout and the pool was great to have. Live music on the Saturday! Would come back and recommend

It's a really great hostel! The owners are incredibly friendly and happy to help. The pool is clean and lovely, and the rooms are also clean and fully equipped. The location is great, and you can reach the city center in a pleasant 20-minute walk! The atmosphere is fantastic; I would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely loved my stay in this hostel! It was very easy to meet people but also had some good places to just relax at the hostel. Shout out to the staff who were absolutely incredible and had a lot of great recommendations about different places to see in town. It is about a 20-25 minute walk from the centre but it is only 5 minutes from the beach and has a pool as well. Seriously cannot recommend it enough!
