Below par hostel, rooms were not nearly as nice as others of this price. Staff asked us to leave a 5 star review in exchange for leaving our bags in the lobby area or they’d charge us which we thought was really weird. But location was a plus
The hostel is dilapidated, and feels dirty despite cleaning efforts. My room was situated at the entrance, so there was a lot of noise coming through early in the morning from 6am, and late at night after 9pm, despite signs around the hostel reminding guests to keep quiet. My toilet was leaking at the back. There was black mould in my shower. The cold water was so low pressure that all of my showers had to be very hot. Overall, they charge far too much ~£34 night. no security, dorms left open for anyone. no key to get through the front door, sso left knocking while no one is at reception. bathrooms are awful. the downstairs toilets have gaps so people can see inside. also the stalls are too small. also only 3 toilets for the whole downstairs (all dorms). The bathrooms also aren't cleaned enough. Not worth the money
La chambre était horrible, j'avais réservé 2 nuits et je suis partie après 1. Chose qui ne m'est jamais arrivé auparavant. Ça sentait l'humidité et c'était sale et trop chaud. Aussi minuscule. Le personnel n'avait aucun sourire. La route est très bruyante er on l'entend dans la chambre. J'ai détesté l'endroit et je suis une voyageuse d'expérience.
Für den Preis ist es echt eine Frechheit, für das was geboten wird. Die Matratzen sind komplett durchgelegen und es gibt viel zu wenige Bäder für die Menge an Gästen, die möglich sind. Ich war kurz vor dem Día de los Muertos hier und an der Rezeption wurden mir keinerlei Infos zu den Festlichkeiten gegeben. In einem anderen Hostel wurden mir haufenweise Infos gegeben. Außerdem gibt es nichts, das von dem Hostel selbst organisiert wird (Food-Tours, Events am Abend etc.)
They ask people to leave good reviews to leave your bags there for free after check out. The score of this hostel is a big s***. The pictures are decieving, there are no activities, the beds are bad, there are two showers and two toilets for a lot of people and no warm water, the atmosfere is really weird. The hostel is OK. But nothing more than ok. It does not deserve the 9/10 rate on hostelworld. And is nothing compared to other 9/10 rated hostels in oaxaca. Sad how this is even possible.
Pros: Location. Cons: Private room not cleaned (or poorly) from prior guests, sheets were dirty, shower had hair left on walls, room hot - one small fan on high ceiling roof, room very loud from street traffic, pool dirty/murky (first pool in Latin America we refused to get in), we could not store luggage for a couple of hours after checkout unless we paid or “gave a review”. Auberge convenable au premier abord mais nous avons été réveillés tous les matins par les travaux sur le toit dès 8h du matin. Avant de construire d'autres dortoirs réparez déjà les équipements existants : robinets cassés, pas de lumière dans le dortoir, douches sans pression.
this hostel is infested with bedbugs and the facilities are unsafe. The roof is leaking and the locks on doors and bathrooms do not work. Some of the bathroom doors do not close and the private room I stayed at had a window directly into a common area and a curtain that allowed other guests to see directly into the room. Stayed here for one night as a transit before my flight the next day. Aside from the great location, this place was horrible. My room was small with two sets of bunk beds and no ventilation. I was searching for a fan at 2am. The bed was dipped in the middle & I could feel bugs biting me all night. The bathrooms were gross. The whole hostel needs a deep clean. Honestly, I have no idea how this hostel has a high score. Stay away from here. There are good hostels within a couple minutes walk

The guys at the front desk are kind.
Good location for centre and bus station. The hostel has some nice features such as a pool and a patio with a bar and terraces for some private rooms. The bed was comfy however the room was pretty dated, airless and dark. Though the room was overall clean, Unfortunately there was a pervasive stale smell that made our clothes smell and which was unpleasant. I don’t feel it was worth the money we paid for a private room.

Hostel in the inner center of Oaxaca - great location ! Very colourful and cute. Although no curtain in the room.. that means full sunlight at 6am

I stayed there a few days and had a great time, outdoor space is nice to chill and overall cool vibe. The food tour was also really interesting

The location is great, rooms are okay, mostly quiet, which is good. The vibe is a little weird and the kitchen was in a terrible state when we arrived, all in all not so great for cooking.
Emma was great Easy check in great English. Always someone at desk to ask for advice. Pool and bar is nice to relax after walking all day
Quiet room, and a fun shared space with a bar and a pool. The shared space is away from the rooms making the bedroom a calm space. Well equipped, had everything we needed and met some good people. Overall a great stay!
Me and my four friends had an amazing time at the hostel. It was very beautiful with all the colors and had a nice rooftop terrace to hang out at and enjoy the sun. The pool area was also really cool and we really enjoyed the happy hour there. We even ended up joining at fun karaoke session at the hostel. The staff was super friendly and especially Edu made us feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend staying at this hostel. The location was great too

great hostel, really nice cosy rooms. bathrooms are clean and hot water!! really fun outside space with games and a pool and good music. staff are friendly, good location. overall a great stay!

Excellent location in centro. Facilities were clean and staff were very friendly and gave great advice on activities in the area. Guided tour offered by the hostel was great.
