Impossible to find and listing did not say you cannot drive to it. Dirt, disgusting and just totally gross. Yuk.
One of the worst places. No hot water, no lockers, the dorm is just a living room without a door, they give blankets used by other travelers without clean sheets, breakfast included is mentioned but it’s not, staff not friendly, not safe location.
The location is bad, not in a safety area , taxi can’t go there you need to walk , I don’t recommend
Internet connnection sucks, sometimes there is hot water, sometimes not. Peope are smoking in the public area, that is literally 2 meters from the bedrooms.
I was so disappointed with this hostel. How did they get such good reviews? I'm still surprised. The toilets and shower were terrible for me. Never again.
I booked and paid for a three bed room- and was charged tax for three people. Since it was the only private room available, I accepted that. But I was put in a 1 bed room. When I brought it up, I was told that I didn’t pay them the taxes but hostelworld. Toilet paper ran out every day. The mirror in my room had so much dirt on it I had to clean it to see. Breakfast was served from 8:30 on - but when I asked about it at 8:45 ( I had a tour to get to) , I was told , “ I just woke up” E...
This is one of the shit place. I have every been to. Place is shit and unclean and staff was rude
i never leave reviews but i feel like i need to warn others. this place is absolutely trash, it is very very dirty, we had dirty bedsheets with stains on them, ants infestation in our beds, 0 water pressure for the bathroom upstairs so you have to go all the way downstairs almost in the dark and afraid of waking people who live there (family?) up. the whole place was very cold too and we did not feel safe staying here at all! the positive side is that the staff is very friendly! so 5* for them
A place to stay only as last resort

staff very friendly, i had a great stay. only thing is the breakfast is not free as advertised, still cheap and good but not free. other than that no complaints, you get what you pay for. it’s not the nicest place i’ve stayed but if i were to come back i would come again
cool spot near the market. rooftop spot as well
there was mold everywhere in the room, the mattresses were very worn out, people sleeping on the sofa in the living room directly in front of our room and one guy was working on his computer in the middle of the night. just a weird and scary atmosphere although the woman was very nice. it cost too much for what we got.
went during off season, little quiet, but very nice helpful staff. nice vibe to the place and location is very central in Medina. The markets literally start outside.
Spot on for the price and location
Host was kind and accommodating. Location is very central but would be cautious for solo female travellers

Pro: The breakfast is fantastic The staff and owner family is friendly The location in the medina is good Con: I had bedbugs in the room (didn’t see them but had multiple itchy red spots on my skin) There are many locals smoking weed in the living room Private rooms have a key but dorms don’t have a key or lockers and the main door is always open Hot water can run out sometimes
Situato nella vecchia medina, difficile da trovare. Pagamento solo in contanti e in valuta locale.
This hostel is good and the staff are friendly. Just be careful because it is located in the middle of a local neighborhood. I don’t recommend going out alone at night, but during the day it’s a good place and feels fine.
I have to be honest it was hell looking for this place. Especially when you don't have wi-fi/internet, is excruciating. I was lucky to meet a guy on the same train as me heading to old Medina. He had internet and took me near to my hostel. Unfortunately I was on my own looking for it, the moment I stepped inside the old Medina. I asked a local, where it was. He had to ask five people. We eventually found it. The good thing about it is that there's no bunk beds, which was a big relief.
I inspected the mattress and found it to be clean, I spoke to roommates who complained of mosquito bites. The host Mubarrak was very kind, it's because of his hospitality and compromise that I enjoyed my stay.
