Wonderland Jungle Hostel

Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist sehr schlecht. Das Wonderland Jungle Hostel war mit Abstand das teuerste Hostel meiner Thailandreise und die Leistungen waren maximal durchschnittlich! Dazu kommt, dass das Hostel sehr weit ausserhalb liegt und Taxis in Koh Tao sehr teuer sind.

Far away from everything. Very commercial hostel. Staff is not that nice.

Price-performance here is very poor. The staff couldn’t speak English very well. The rooms were clean but nothing special. For €20 it’s absolutely fine, but €50 for a 6-bed dorm is way too expensive.

very poor attitude from the staff and owners, I asked if I could join the christmas dinner as I have a gluten free intolerance, they did not really care, they only told me to go get my own food, and that they can do nothing about it, I ended up not being able to join for the evening. The common area & facilities are nice though.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hostel, the location was incredible up in the jungle and was nice to be away from the main strip. It was clean and the facilities were good, and most importantly the vibe was so good - it was super friendly and easy to chat to people, but was definitely not a party hostel although easy to find people to party to if you wanted to. 100000% recommend

You need a bike to stay here and it's expensive for how far it is. The bedroom and vibe is great. There are bugs outside because it in the jungle

Schönes Hostel, sehr sehr gute Atmosphäre aber für ein 12 Bettzimmer ist der Preis schon ordentlich hoch wenn Mann länger reisen möchte und mit einem Budget reist

C’est sympa , beaucoup de choses pour chill dans les parties communes, c’est propre , joli. Il y a des activités proposées presque tout les soir. Attention vu l’emplacement je vous conseille de louer un scooter. Un peu cher au niveau des prix quand même et c’est pas forcément justifié !

Mocht je op zoek zijn naar een schoon, rustig en alternatief hostel, dan is dit perfect. Mooie en schone kamers, zonder slot. Verder erg alternatief (wereld verbeteraars), maar vind je dat fantastisch dan is dit jouw hostel. De beoordeling is echter te hoog voor wat je er voor terugkrijgt.

The bed and the dorm was clean and comfortable . Every day there are suggestions for activities, which I found very cool. Sanitary facilities could be cleaner. The room can not be locked, anyone can walk in. The price is too high for what you get.

I can’t say anything about this hostel that the other reviews haven’t already said. Just save yourself the headache and stay here!

This hostel is the perfect embodiment of the meme “Should we move here?” and honestly, the answer is yes. If moving isn’t an option, then you should absolutely book it for your next trip to Koh Tao. Wonderland Jungle is a place for people who enjoy socializing, but without any pressure to drink, party, or do anything they’re not in the mood for. This is the best hostel i have ever stayed in!! The rooms and the staff were amazing! It’s also very social, and i loved it sooo much! If i ever come back to Koh Tao, i will def stay here again!🫶

A wonderful stay at wonderland hostel. Very social and great events every night. Incredible staff namely Pai, Mackensy, Noemi, and Bea. I would give this hostel a solid three big booyahs. BOOYAH BOOYAH BOOYAH.

I really loved this hostel. It’s honestly worth every penny. The staff put so much effort into making the place feel comfortable and welcoming. The design is beautiful, everything is super clean, and the food is delicious. Everyone is so kind and always ready to help. I truly enjoyed my time here🫡

My stay at Wonderland Jungle Hostel was absolutely lovely! The staff was very welcoming and the volunteers Noemi and Mackenzie were spreading really positive vibes. Bottom line, book here. I was in the 12+ dorm and it was the best 12+ dorm I have stayed in; large room with ample space. Clean facilities. Extremely social atmosphere. Helpful, attentive staff. Amazing hostel!!! I just left and I’m already ready to plan my return! The vibes are so good here. They have a free breakfast in the morning which is great if you are solo travelling and want to make friends for the day. Every evening the hostel goes to watch the sunset together and usually there is a social activity after. The team is amazing and makes you feel so at home. The rooms and bathrooms are super clean. I had the best time at this hostel, and really wished I could’ve extended my time! Four nights wasn’t enough. The staff were so welcoming, especially Noemi who made me feel right at home! There’s a great, relaxed social vibe and lots of activities to get involved in - but also respectful of people who want a quiet night. Clean, welcoming, and the pool is the best on the island! Also easy to rent scooters next door.

the most incredible hostel, one of the best we’ve stayed at over the last 3+ months in SE Asia! Rooms and stunning, spacious and clean. Common areas are really comfortable and the pool is a huge plus!! It is quite an expensive stay, but certainly worth splashing out for a few night!

This hostel is the most welcoming place because of the volunteers and staff. It's very inclusive with new people. Im generally an introvert that keeps to myself, but with everyone being so welcoming they helped me get out of my shell. They have scooters, food delivery, and nightly activities making everything conveniently in the same location. I would recommend getting taxi with art (the hostels taxi service) from the pier to the hostel. Overall, amazing place kept alive by the volunteers.

First hostel experience and honestly… I think they set the bar way too high 😅 Everything was just perfect. The staff are amazing, always super kind and taking care of you. The dorms and bathrooms are spotless all the time, which I really appreciated. The vibe is great and it’s so easy to meet really nice people. I 10000% recommend this place to anyone going to Koh Tao. I’ll definitely be back!
