- Friendly staff!! - really location to go into Cahuita National Park and it’s next to the supermarket & busstation which is perfect - my sheets felt a bit dirty so I was happy i brought my own pillow cover - kitchen was unorganised and a bit dirty with ants because there were no boxes to put your food and everyone just left it out. Fridges were super full. I bought my own container to store food.

The owners are extremely friendly, super nice Argentinan family. We had some NYE dinner for free. BIG DOWNSIDE: you can't sit anywhere at the hostel without being confronted by smokers. I'm extremely asthmatic and basically couldn't use the outdoor areas except the kitchen. Please make sure to establish smoking areas and no smoking under roofs!

the space is nice and kitchen works very good, but the main thing that bother me was the guy at the reception wanted to over charge me 2 different times and it didn't felt like a mistake so make sure you know how much you have to pay, and when you sleep on the bunk bed top it feels you will fall because there is a hole between the bed and the wall and the there is just the floor to the other side.

Given a 3 for staff as the man who runs the hostel is lovely, but the other light haired man was extremely rude, whistling and clicking at us. The owner runs a free shuttle every morning to the other entrance of the national park which is great. The hostel is quiet and I don’t think there’s need to stay overnight here, I’d recommend staying in puerto viejo and getting the bus back after the park back to really good restaurants and atmosphere in the town as the park closes at 4 and then the...

Drôle d’auberge ! D’abord il faut payer avec la carte, c’est obligatoire. Le dortoir n’est pas de 10 lits mais plutôt 16 lits ! N’importe quoi. Le personnel n’est pas présent sur les lieux avant au moins midi. Rien pour écrire sur les articles au réfrigérateur, on ne sait pas à qui appartient quoi. Belle location. Mieux que rien comme endroit. J’ai dû demander à trois reprises pour du papier de toilette. Ce n’est pas des gens très très pressés. Aurait un beau potentie...

Sehr buntes Hostel, das mit Liebe gestaltet worden ist. Es gibt einen Pool und eine große Social Area und eine Küche mit großem Essbereich. Die Zimmer sind gut belüftet, jedoch etwas dunkel. Es gibt leider nur ein Bad für alle Dorms und nur ein einziges Waschbecken!

Very basic hostel, the door of the room was not even closing, the kitchen is dirty and old. The Showers are horrible, not even hot water. I don't understand why this hostel gets such a good rating.

Die Mitarbeiter waren jederzeit hilfsbereit und sympathisch. Das Hostel lud definitiv zum Entspannen ein und die Zimmer waren zwar sehr klein aber sauber. Leider machten die Duschen und Toiletten eher einen ziemlich abgeranzten Eindruck. Trotzdem zu empfehlen. Preis-Leistung absolut OK.

El lugar es un 10 respecto a la ubicación y los servicios. Sin embargo, no admiten tarjeta y no se especifica, sino que te lo dicen al llegar al lugar. El tipo de cambio no es el mismo que el del Banco Central por lo que la estadía saldrá diferente si hiciste la conversión basado en el precio oficial. Por último, nos pasó que nos dieron un precio el día que llegamos, pero al siguiente cambió $5+, así que terminamos pagando un extra sin saber el porqué

hostel propre et agréable, avec des supers espaces communs et une piscine! mario est très gentil et aidant. la cuisine est spacieuse et fournie. les dortoirs sont bien, les sanitaires aussi bien que les portes des douches (espace en bas et en haut) limitent un peu l’intimité

Très bon hostel, très bien placé entre le terminal de bus et le supermarché ! Espace commun agréable avec piscine, cuisine assez grande et bien équipée.

Merci à Mario pour cet acceuil chaleureux et les bons conseils! L'emplacement dans Cahuita est parfait, à côté de toutes les commodités: supermarché, ATM, parc national de Cahuita, je recommande 😄 PURA VIDA 🇨🇷

I liked the chill vibe to this place. Cahuita is an often overlooked stop, and to be fair it is a very small town, but I liked taking a couple days here. The pool is smaller but refreshing, the kitchen is good and has seating and the free coffee is local and great. The bunks had me a little nervous with 3 levels and no guard rail. Loved the hostel cats.

Wonderful stay in Cahuita. Kind staff, clean place with great facilities and space for relaxing and socialising! Central and right next to the big supermarket. Highly recommend!

Hostel avec un cadre très agréable et personnel très gentil, les équipements de la cuisine sont très bien, les espaces communs propres, il faut aimer dormir avec les insectes !

I can't say anything negative about this place. It was relaxing, good vibe, it had what you needed, even a pool. The staff was friendly and helpful. I can definitely recommend this place.

Very kind oweners, location perfect (next to a supermarket, few 100m to beaches and national park), solid rooms & rather clean bathrooms. Would recommend!
