Extended my stay by a night, they made me check out and check back in, which I understand can happen if they are fully booked. Then I was informed I had to pay extra money to leave my luggage for the day and there was also an extra charge for me to check in early. Also in the dorms there was only one switch for the room/toilet/shower. Every time someone went to the toilet during the night, they’d wake up the entire room by switching on the lights in room.
Not sure if hostels have all changed, but having to make your own bed (no fitted sheet over mattress when you check in) and overall cleanliness of showers/toilets are just not up to par. Staff was lovely and as helpful as they could be, but had many issues with my keycard, adding time used up in having to sort it out every time it arose.
Ich habe den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Hostel war sehr gut gelegen, man konnte alles laufend sehr schnell erreichen.
Loved the bed setup! Nice to have a curtain and all the plugs / shelves / lights within the bunk. I also had an ensuite which was wonderful. Lockers in room were large, staff was helpful, downstairs amenities were nice though I didn’t use.
HALF of the staff seem miserable. They're constantly talking negatively, like high schoolers, about guests. They try amusing themselves by playing annoying games with you if you ask them nearly anything that can't get them a tip. It's disappointing, really. Other than that, the coffee is great, and the bar is always a nice & sociable area to meet people. It's cool that they have a pool table. They weirdly don't have a kitchen, ...not even a microwave. & Their laundry machines are over priced.
Good hostel in an ideal location. The only down side was that the breakfast menu was quite limited. But there’s plenty of places nearby for food so it’s not the end of the world. Would recommend for travellers
Tutto molto bello. Ci tornero'.
Good hostel, expensive compared to elsewhere but good for Dublin still
Good spot. Centrally located
Massive place so the social vibe isn’t an intimate one. If you don’t meet anyone in your room good luck. Otherwise the location is super central and facilities are very new and nice!
The self check in and check out although convenient lacked any form of personal interaction. I didn’t speak with any member of staff the whole time I was there, which felt rather unusual.
Great place for solo travelers
Great location, new hostel and comfy beds / good facilities. Same as other reviews, rooms were decent but the bathrooms / showers didn’t seem cleaned as regularly as you’d expect from a hostel so that made it feel less nice than otherwise.
Good location and overall a decent stay. However, the facilities are quite limited for the price, and cleanliness could be improved. Fair experience, but a bit overpriced for what is offered
Grand place, beds are assigned and another traveller decided to take ours. I was bit concered as we were assigned bed 1 & 2, so seems like we should have been the first people in the room so a bit of a security concern there, checked with staff and they just told us to take another bed. Lights & sockets by the bed did not work so I didn't get to charge my phone. One of the lockers was dodgy, it wouldn't lock right so shared my partners locker. Overall pretty clean and a fine place to sleep.
Definitely worth to stay there !
Great for the money and close to everything which is a bonus. And the staff are super friendly
The location was great. Sadly I didn’t have the experience I was expecting. They made me switch rooms halfway through my stay because my original room had an issue before I arrived, the bathroom was just one big room with a shower head, toilet (no lid for it) and a sink. Felt like a jail bathroom. I had to make my own bed and the charge for a towel was too high. It’s not the worst place to stay but very bare bones when it comes to the rooms.
There are no facility’s here, you get none of the benefits of staying in a hostel, check in and check it times are the worst they can be and you have to pay to store luggage
