the hostel owner was constantly trying to make money and selling all kind of tourguides. also he sold me a letter of invitation before arrival which was really expensive and always said he didn't receive the money which he did. afterwards he asked me to go to the bank together to manage it as the money went to wrong which was a lie, I left earlier and didn't hear him afterwards about it
No no no. I guess other guests could compensate the obvious flaws, but I was the only one. Water was cut off without any notice beforehand, room was boiling hot, nah. For the price of AC room you can rather just stay at any other 2/3 star hotel.
Hostel is really underwhelming, there is no hostel culture in Pakistan like there is in India. You are better off getting a cheap hotel somewhere. During the night I also had something biting me that looked a LOT like a bedbug. The location is not bad, there is plenty of restaurants near and not far from the amazing old city. They also charge an insane surplus for ac.
I would give this hostel a 0 but the only thing that made it good was the caretaker. Also, be careful. Sajjad may try to sell you overpriced tours and items.
The place is dirty, there’s no toilet paper, hot, cold or fresh water. There aren’t any dorms, just two beds in a room without AC. The owner will try and sell you anything, for a very high price ($50 city tours, when you can get them for free). He’ll measure you up for tailor made clothes, even if you’ve not said you want them, and then continually ask you if you want them. When trying this sell you things, he’ll change the price for each person. When I disagreed with things, he g...
Sajjad really needs to work on how he manages his bed inventory. Constant overbooking resulting in some guests having to sleep on a mattress on the floor. On my second night I was moved to a room which has a door that doesn't have a handle or latch, so it can't be closed. We hhad to block the door from outside with a wooden chair. Light is just a bulb with wire plugged in to the socket. So dangerous. And all these while paying full price. He even said I'm problematic for complaining.
This is not a hostel i cant recommend this
This hostel is absolutly aweful i will not recommend it to anyone. Very dirty, no sheets in the beds, no towels, no hot water. Extremely noisy. Comparing to hostels in different part of the world that hostel is the worst I met. Don't go there!! !
I gotta be real. The place is ~fine~. Not many other options. But its really not up to standard. Beds were fine but the rooms were hot and they dont let you use the ac unless you pay more than the cost of the room extra. The place is really barebones and The bathrooms were pretty gross, they dont even stock toilet paper at the hostel. If I ever come back to Lahore its a hotel angle for sure
Great location and met some amazing travellers here. Hostel facilities are the absolute bare minimum.

A nice, budget-friendly option within walking distance of many attractions like Sacred Heart Cathedral, GPO, Lahore Museum etc. The owner is super friendly, provides helpful guidance and ensures you have a nice stay. The facilities are super basic, which makes sense given the cost. However, if you are not new to backpacking, you'll be fine.
Stayed here recently and had a great experience. The host is incredibly hospitable and genuinely knowledgeable about Pakistan—he shared great insights about the culture, places to visit, and local tips you wouldn’t easily find online. He clearly cares about making sure guests have the best possible stay and is the kind of person who will go the extra mile to help if you need anything. The place itself is very clean and well kept, which makes it comfortable to relax after a long day out.
I love this hostel and the people who work there. They will show you a good time.
It's good place for budget backpackers, if you don't have much expectations
Just enough here to be on a budget. To be fairly honest it felt like a man cave. For the days I visited it was perfect and the owner or manager helped me greatly with some things. But other than that there is no attention that goes into the hostel. An airco room is really expensive, the rooms are very warm at night. The kitchen described on hostelworld in reality is very minimal. Just enough to build a pasta or boil some food. The bathrooms are dirty and stinking of urine when i visited.
This place has potential, and if you have the right attitude it could be ok. In fairness, there was zero atmosphere when I was there because of the troubles with India and the lack of travellers. It’s cheap-ish and it’s got a nice rooftop. That said, I don’t think they check online bookings, so maybe contact them to double check, they also seemed confused about the price. I would also say they could ease back on trying so hard to sell tours, fabrics etc to guests.
Great host and comfortable beds. I had a very good time here. Would definitely recommend to other backpackers.

Excellent ! The owner Sajjad is incredibly kind and helpful Don’t expect something fancy but still it’s quite comfortable

The owner is super friendly, does the best to make your stay comfortable and very helpful with any need you might have. Rooms are clean and the common area vibrant with guests.
Great place to stay in Lahore for a few days! Hospitable and friendly staff, great location and walking distance to Lahore Fort. My single room with a double bed was basic but great.
Seeing as this is basically the only hostel in Lahore it was...fine I guess. The place is pretty dingy and dusty. The rooms are okay, pretty basic and few beds in each room. The actual owner is nice but there is another person who seems to be living/working there who is a bit weird. Strange dynamic with the staff and a bit confusing. The owner wasn't even there to help us check-in the second time around when we came back to Lahore. Decent location, some good food nearby, but not super close to t...
There was a local Pakistani who grew up in Canada at the reception desk, and he kindly gave me some advice with fluent English. I was really comfortable to chat with the guy. The reviews seem to show mixed reviews of the owner, but it's a business that depends on their livelihood so this is very natural to be promoted his city tour to the guests. I'm the type of person who can clearly say YES/NO, so it was not a problem for me. But some people may feel pressured to be promoted.
Personal muy amable, habitaciones estándar pero por el precio están bien, muy bien ubicado .
Since there is no hostel culture in Pakistan it was not the best coming from a vibrant and social hostel in Delhi just a day before! But honestly it was still the best choice for me. Met a couple of fellow travellers. But judging from the reservation book at the front desk many travellers are there while no others are staying there during their stay… the staff was strange but very nice. Their English was not to good. Nice rooftop overall recommend as it’s hard travellers if ur not in that ho...
