It is very far from anything. Beds are a mess and someone had bedbugs. Toilets didn't have seats and bathrooms were not clearly labeled. I could not find them on my first day. Hot water pressure is not a thing. And the fire alarm was making a constant ringing noise.

There is no air conditioning so you feel like you’re in a sweat lodge, it is impossible to get laundry done because you have to ask the staff multiple times until they let you do it, also there is no drier so if it’s raining good luck having clean clothes. The staff was nice, but for the price you would expect to have some kind of amenities. The bathrooms are disgusting with half the toilets not having any toilet paper or a toilet seat. Plus the location is a 45 min walk to the water.

BED BUGS!!! the hostel is in the middle of no where, an hour bus ride from any part of marseille that’s worth seeing. getting to the hostel by metro was sketchy and then we still had to walk 20 min. to top it off my bed had bed bugs. when i went down to tell the staff they didn’t believe me. when i showed them photos they finally came up to look. they stripped the bed and moved me to a different room. no apologies and they didn’t let the other people in the room know. would never stay here...

Well removed from town and very overpriced. I had to pay €40 for a tiny bed in a 14 share room with no plugs anywhere near the bed, and wifi that didn’t reach the dorms. Staff, other facilities and the breakfast were all fine but the location, bad beds and price ruined this stay for me.

Expensive not central at all, looked way better online the breakfast was pretty disappointing The WC and showers were disgusting and did not get cleaned

在我到达马赛的那一天早上通知我说他们取消了我的预定，我无处可去，睡在了大街。很显然，8月份是旅游旺季，他们高价转售了我的预定，因为当天整个马赛没有一家旅馆有空位，很多当地人也是这么给我说的。作为客户，通过邮件求情了很多次，还是没能入住。感谢马赛美丽的风景让我忘记了这糟糕的事情。最后请旅馆把我的预定金退还给我谢谢！

BED BUGS!!!!! this was the worst hostel i‘ve ever stayed in. they knew about their bed bug problem and didn’t care. some others and i had to sleep on the floor. besides that the facility was bad in general. showers only cold. smell in the bathrooms. breakfast was poor.

!!! BEDBUGS !!! This place was horror- the worst hostel I‘ve ever stayed at and I don’t even know where to start. Receptionist was unfriendly and not helpful. Kitchen was unusable at lunch time and from 8:45 because the gas will be turned off. Everything is dirty and sticky. There are bedbugs everywhere and the new manager knows of this but doesn’t do anything. The whole team there plays a game of lying to the guests when they arrive. Typical youth hostel vibes, nice staff, beautiful view and nice building, only thing is its a bit far out of the centre of u rely on public transport.

Upgrade the quality and the quantity of toilets and showers.

Hostel vibes, if you just need a bed to lay your head this place is perfect, as always the people make it what it is! Bathrooms could use a lil love but do the job and you get used to it fast. Also wonderful breakfasts!

É un ottimo ostello per famiglie e per chi si sposta con un mezzo. Ottimo anche per il turismo sostensible, per chi ama camminare. Ottima la colazione, compresa nel prezzo.

Había un calor inaguantable y la habitación no tenía ni un ventilador :( El lugar se sentía muy solo.

Worth the money but a bit far from the city to walk. Took 15 minutes to the subway station and further 15 minutes on train so not that far. Quite hard to get a hold of the reception also as they were rarely there. However, the breakfast was amazing for a hostel and it had quite a nice view. Would recommend.

The staff are lovely and the building is beautiful. Only thing is it’s way out from the city and a bit of a walk to anything nearby like groceries or bakeries whatever But if you like pretty views and nearby gardens you’ll have a good time

The property is far away from the city center, the common rooms are pretty small and without the mirror, the breakfast although included in the price was very poor, but for two nights it was okey

so quiet and peaceful. impressive security it's like a gated mansion. the common areas were open, nothing about this place feels cramped (unlike most hostels do). nice breakfast and common areas.

i wanted to love this hostel, the chateau is really nice up on the hill, a bit far frim the centre but a great place to relax. the kitchen is large, breakfast is nothing special but convenient, and the staff were lovely. my main problems were sleeping in this hostel. the beds had no privacy curtains, the beds were tiny and had thin matresses, and worst of all every door was heavy and would loudly slam constantly, and it was so hot in May with no ac (and youre only given a duvet - no sheet)

Très bonne expérience à l'Auberge du Bois Luzy. Les locaux étaient propres, les draps et les lits également. Le personnel était adorable et le petit déjeuner copieux. Merci pour tout!

Idéal pour les groupes, moins pour les voyageurs individuels. Assez éloigné du centre mais bon rapport qualité prix et super petit déjeuner compris dans le prix. Personnel très sympathique ❤️

This is a fantastic hostel with a wonderful reception. The location is in a great part of Marseille—only a few minutes walk away from a bus stop and a slightly longer walk or short bus ride to the metro station. It is also a good part of town to go for a walk, and there are a few nice restaurants nearby. There was an issue with my booking where hostelworld didn't send it fully, so they weren't expecting me. The receptionist still let me stay and was very kind. I highly recommend them.

Auberge-château dans un parc bien vert, le lieu est très beau et agréable. L’auberge est calme et les dortoirs sont très biens. Adepte de calme je recommande !

Beautiful property but far from the city centre. Full of youth groups so the shared bathroom attached to the room (their version of an ensuite) was very noisy with a bunch of teenagers yelling and playing music. Kitchen was always super busy because they did the cooking for the groups in the same kitchen that all the other guests had to use. Stayed in the 8 bed female dorm and on the last night there were two men staying in there as well. completely unacceptable. Mold in the shower too :/
