Glenbrittle Youth Hostel

Ils nous avaient prévenu qu'il n'y avait plas d'eau chaude, puis l'après midi un message nous a dit que c'était réparé. En arrivant le soir, il n'y avait pas d'eau du tout, même pas dans les toilettes, ni eau froide.

Quite old building with a shared living place with 4 sofas and 2 big wooden tables, a kitchen with gas and electric hub, 2 microwaves, 2 big sinks and 2 big tables. There was only one fridge, although there was room for our food, it may not be enough. There was 2 toilets and 2 showers, we had to wait as they were busy. Our room had 2 bunks, one with a double bed. It would have been nice to have some shelves. There was NO WiFi and NO phone signal which was a BIG PROBLEM as I had an online meeti...

Lugar amigable con los servicios básicos para pasar una/dos noches. Lavabo compartido y limpio. Cocina amplia con accesorios para cocinar, limpia y amplia. Comedor con juegos de mesa.

This was our 2nd stay at the hostel, it is a great location for the Cuilins and the drying room is excellent. But it is very remote from local facilities so make sure you bring everything you need with you, there is no phone signal or WFI, WFI is available locally so this could easily be addressed, sound proofing is very poor so I didn't get much sleep. Allows only Hostel bought alcohol to be consumed, Not my favourite Hostel

The hostel is ok. The towels are not included and you must bring a lock if you want to keep your bag safe, but there is a good atmosphere. The kitchen extractor is noisy and the building needs maintenance from the outside.

No salt, pepper nor any basic things like oil. But a charming little place, friendly, quiet and comfortable

Un buen hostel donde dormir en Skye. El único problema es que reservamos una habitación no mixta y luego allí nos tocó una habitación mixta y no nos avisaron.

Loved the vibes and staff! Clean and cosy.

Bedenke, dass das Hostel sehr nahe an den Fairy Pools liegt und man deshalb immer die herausfordernde Strecke fahren muss. Ansonsten hat das Hostel eine tolle Lage bei den Cuilin Hills, ist sauber und die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet.

The man at reception was so helpful and answered all our questions. He also gave us some great recommendations on what to see while in Skye/Scotland

Auberge à 5 min des Fairy Pools,très propre, personnel accueillant, anticiper vos achats si besoin, rien à proximité.

Ce lieu est un havre de paix, d'une beauté à couper le souffle et nous avons eu le cadeau de voir des dauphins 🐬 juste devant le gîte.

Excellent hostel aux airs de chalet de refuge. Tres bien équipé, et grand. Il nous épargne l’affreuse décoration habituelle des hostels peinturlurés. Grande cuisine bien équipée. Lits confortables. Perdu dans la nature comme on l’aime. Une belle solidarité entre les habitants. Je recommande.

Nous avons 2 nuits au Glenbrittle Youth Hostel. Accueil plus que chaleureux, personnel très sympathique, chambre et locaux propre. Auberge idéalement située. Nous avons pu y rencontrer des gens superbes. Adresse que nous gardons pour de prochaines aventures.

L’auberge de jeunesse est très confortable, avec beaucoup de charme dans un cadre idyllique. Le personnel est accueillant et souriant, nous y avons passé un séjour merveilleux!

L'auberge de jeunesse est très conviviale, propre et fonctionnelle. Le personnel est très accueillant et disponible. Comme indiqué, l'auberge est située au milieu de nulle part et il n'y aucun réseau et WiFi. Coupure totale, ça fait du bien ! A noter que la route pour y aller est une single track, avec parfois du monde car située proche des fairy pools. Le parking devant l'auberge est un plus. Je recommande !

Très bon séjour, un Hostel de caractère où il règne une ambiance agréable, située non loin de plusieurs randonnées et des fairy pools, toutes les commodités nécessaires et un personnel agréable. Le parking est gratuit et facile d'accès.

Wi-Fi would make it perfect

This hostel is out aways from things but it was a very cool experience! Loved the cabin feel and everyone was so nice.

Très bien, auberge très isolée sans réseau ni wifi. Le dépaysement est total. Accueil chaleureux, les chambres et les lieux communs sont très bien.
