They lied to us about sauna before booking, the staff were very rude and there was constantly no concierge to talk to.

Do not stay here. My bathroom smelled like a crime scene, the kind of smell that gets into your clothes and follows you around the city. When I told the staff, they treated me like I was inconveniencing them by expecting basic hygiene. No apology. No fix. Just rude looks and dismissive responses. For a city as beautiful as Nice, there’s no reason to settle for a place that’s filthy AND staffed by people who clearly hate their jobs. Book somewhere, anywhere, else.

Staff was not overly helpful. No soap in bathroom, even after I told them that there wasn't and they said they would address it, they never did. No towels for rent, only purchase. I used the laundry service and they tried to pass the clothes back to me without washing them and when I called them out on it they said "How do you know?". Once I got them to wash them, they gave them back to me wet and wrinkled.

The customer service is terrible; they charge for every service, even though everything is free at other hostels. Some of the staff are very rude and disrespectful to customers. They don't care much about people's health. In terms of cleanliness, there is no hygiene at all. The organization is very poor. The bed that was yours in the morning belongs to someone else when you come back in the evening. They don't care much about people's health. After cleaning, what you see is clumps of women'shair

At 2:45 AM a drunk guest woke me up violently and forced me out of my bed. Security later confirmed the bed was mine. I felt unsafe and could not sleep for the rest of the night and had to leave the room early morning. The hostel security refused to defend me and the manager was indifferent. The toilets and bathrooms were dirty. The worst hostel ever....

Atmosphäre sehr kalt. Unsympathisch. Zu Beginn wurde nicht malngezeigt, wo sich der Gym befindet und allgemein der Frühstück wurde auf das mindeste angeboten. Sehr dunkel im Raum. Die Räume waren sehr hellhörig.

Although a great location and easy to check in and out, the rooms are disgusting and not healthy to sleep in. The room I was allocated had no ventilation, it was cramped and the facilities were poor. The areas to shower and the toilet in the dorm were unclean, the duvet was dirty and I was bitten by bed bugs no doubt. As I was checking out, people were checking in and there was no evidence of any room/bed being cleaned. Awful experience

Great location and a beautiful community area, but the rooms are far below standard for the price. No curtains on beds, too few toilets, and in my 6-bed dorm two beds were placed directly side by side with no divider — a complete no-go in 2025. Even other guests were shocked. Staff offered no real solution and suggested moving to a 10-bed dorm for an extra fee. Poor value for money despite nice common spaces.

my partner and I stayed late august and did not have a good time. the receptionist was very unkind and our room was not in a good state. we payed 110 a night for the two of us in a 12 person room! our shower was clogged and moldy, our aircon was leaking so much -which was not fixed after repeatedly asking- and the floor was dirty! the beds were comfortable althought there was no privacy or shelf to put anything on. the kitchen was agreeable. the location was lovely. overall, too expensive :(

I spend 4 nights. This hostel is so bad . The personal are so nervous and don't want to help no smile at all you fell like they don't want to talk. The ac don't work . The mattress are damaged and old. The breakfast experience 8 euro worth nothing. And how dare you put this hostel for 72 euro price too expensive. The beer is for 5 euro

Location is great, close to train station, public transit, and main downtown area The showers in room were not very good, drain was clogged and overflowing. There was also no shower curtain so water would spray out onto area to place your clothes/towel. Kitchen is very small for size of the property only 2 people can cook at a time with very limited space to prep and store food items

Single room (in neighboring facility) was fine but basic. Only window in the room opened up into a shaft in the building & not to the outside which was disappointing. Decent location, fine staff. Dining area was nice, breakfast was basic (coffee, yoghurt, cereal, toast & meat slices) happy hour bar was a plus.

Overall a good stay, nice location, and felt very safe. The rooms had daily cleaning, but unfortunate that they do not provide soaps, or even cheaper towels. Quite expensive for already staying at the hostel. The pub crawl was also fun, and there were other activities you could book through them. I’d say it’s somewhat social, depending on who you get in your room.

Great location close to many transit lines including from the airport making it easy to get around. Location is also great for visiting the Old Town and beach. Staff was friendly and atmosphere social but bathrooms could have been cleaner in the dorm room and basement level.

wouldn't recommend this for anything other then the location. my stay was quite expensive here and i was expecting alot more from it. the whole point of the hostel seemed like a cash grab. everything was supper expensive. the staff in general weren't very nice either. they did have a pretty nice common/bar area and a kitchen. but for some reason they always seemed to close them very early. a school had also stayed in the hostel during my stay and the hostel refused to let the guests use the kitc

Great location in the central Nizza on a pieceful street. Sufficient breakfast in a roomy breakfast lounge. Friendly personnel, good atmosphere.

Overall really nice hostel. (I was nervous with the lack of curtains as i always get them, but it was nice! no issues☺️! (only thing was queues at reception was always long)

It is well located. The staff is nice. The rooms are okay; the bunk beds are definitely not the best I've seen, but it's alright. The atmosphere is fine; you put yourself out there. Like any large-scale hostels, it's harder to actually meet people organically, but you have more options of people than in small ones where it can be hit or miss. It's clean enough i'd say.

Amazing place, great atmosphere, and perfect location near the train station and the beach. My only bad experience was with the receptionist, the girl with glasses. I arrived at 6:00 AM after a long trip and politely asked for early checkin, even offering to pay extra. She said no and told me to wait until 1500 PM. When check-in time came, I explained I had been there all day and was exhausted, but she was rude, raised her voice, and told me to get in line.Very unprofessional and lacking empathy

I had a wonderful stay- I highly recommend staying here for any solo travelers

This hostel’s staff, common spaces & organized activities create a superb env. for meeting new people. The kitchen is a decent size. Location is next to public transport, the promenade, and a ton of restaurants/shops. Some negatives: bathrooms did not feel clean, it was if they just sprayed it down with water vs truly cleaning it. Fridge space is limited given how many people the hostel can host. No individual lights or shelves. Extras are $$$ (ex. Laundry €15, must buy towel for €7

as camas n tem cortinas. a cozinha é bem mais ou menos, vc precisa deixar sua comida numa geladeira minúscula q tá abarrotada de coisas de outros hóspedes. o ambiente não é tão sociável mas talvez melhore em alta temporada! tb achei q os recepcionistas não são tão simpáticos, com exceção de uma guria brasileira kkkk parece q eles não querem te ajudar c nada! o café da manhã custa 9 euros e n vale a pena enfim, é caro demais pelo oq oferece - assim como tudo em nice. mas a local...

C’est ok … il y a des hostel beaucoup plus confortable avec tes rideaux . Les matela et draps vraiment pas confortable Cela dit c’est super propre les salles de bains. L’emplacement est assez central et c’est très sociale comme hostel

It's fine, its a dorm hostel, it made me realize I've out grown wanting to deal with dorms, and it wasn't that cheap. Next time I think I'd just pay a bit more for somewhere where I can actually sleep, but for what it is there's no real issues.

Great location, dorm itself was very simple - no curtains or anything but nothing wrong with it, rest of hostel was great

I really enjoyed staying at this hostel. The communal spaces were great and I loved how lively it was each evening. The rooms were equally nice and it was noticeable that they’d been cleaned each day. The staff at reception were also really helpful, especially the man working during the night who gave me plenty of great recommendations ! My one critique would be the breakfast was definitely not worth the €9 being charged. Apart from that I had a lovely time here and would definitely recommen...

I had a very pleasant stay at Villa Saint Exupéry. I stayed in a female dorm, which was comfortable and clean. The staff were very friendly, and the hostel offers daily cleaning, a kitchen, a gym, and great common areas. The atmosphere with other guests was nice. The location is excellent, very close to the center. Overall, great value for money and I would definitely come back!
