Peniche Hostel Backpackers

Was alone for 3 days... nice kitchen, everything clean, had one cold shower and don't rent a bike there (no gear, only one break working)

Felt dated, and was empty, no atmosphere. The two people I met were lovely, but they were both volunteers. The location is average, far from bars, or supermarket, or beach, but some restaurants around. There is very little going on even, over a weekend. The breakfast was lovely, and the rooms were clean, but squeaky bunks and thin mattress. Also the hot water only sometimes works, 50/50 chance of an cold shower.

Friendly laidback surfers hostel Room was fine Kitchen & Bathrooms messy Only one toilet working, my biggest complaint was the unbearable sewage smell inside & outside. But it’s cheap so I guess you get what you pay for. Our boat trip to Beralenga was a highlight

The house is very welcoming and always clean. It's in a central location, perfect for walking to the beaches and next to the bus station. Mario was very helpful and Nancy was very kind and welcoming. I felt at home. I'll definitely came back.

Très jolie chambre (chambre Portugal)danis une vieille habitation. Immense lit confortable et très propre.. la maison est vieille et un peu dégradée. La localisation est parfaite le long des remparts. Mario est charmant. À l'arrivée nous avons dû le chercher dans son autre auberge. C'était l'aventure. Peniche est une jolie ville dont le tour reste très vite fait.

Chambre propre, on dirait un petit appartement. C'est cozy, on a eu un upgrade de chambre, ce qu'on à apprécié. La seule chose que j'ai à dire c'est que le personnel était rarement sur place, il a fallu un délai pour faire le check in et j'aurais bien aimé faire du lavage, mais je ne trouvais pas personne pour payer et demandé le service. Sommes toutes, je recommande !

The people who is there attending the hosted are really good. We feel really well and we for sure recomend it :-)

staff were really nice, it was small but cute. kitchen could use upgrading but it was fine. definitely go to berlengas islands if you stay here!!

Atmosphère familiale, Nancy et Mario sont très sympathiques et se font un plaisir de nous partager leurs recommandations pour manger ou visiter. Propreté impeccable. Déçue d'y avoir passé seulement une nuit!

The cleanest Hostel I have ever been to. Very sweet owners. Not a party Hostel and ideal for a quiet accomodation.

Il posto è fantastico tranne che per l'uso della cucina perché non c'era niente per cucinare (olio sale etc)

Fabulous hostel that has a very warm and homely feeling. Nancy is a lovely host, who look after myself and the hostel very well. The location is prime with only 10 mins to the main beach in Peniche. I hope to visit again for another week of surfing!

Gemütliches Hostel mit angenehmer, entspannter Atmosphäre. Die Hostess ist super lieb und alles, was man braucht lässt sich schnell erreichen.

Absolutely lovely place. Really quiet, beautiful space to relax. Super friendly hosts and nice people. Only one thing: please no paper towels, there's better solutions:D

Es war so toll!! Nancy ist die liebste Gastgeberin überhaupt. Hab mich richtig wohl gefühlt. Die Bäder werden jeden Tag geputzt, das Frühstück ist inklusive und richtig lecker. Bis jetzt meine beste Hostelerfahrung! Danke dafür, ich würde definitiv wieder kommen. :)

Positive: The hostel itself is pretty decorated. I loved the well-equipped kitchen, the small terrace and colorful living room. It feels like a home. The owners were really helpful and kind. Negative: I stayed there for 2 nights in October and we weren’t many guests. As a solo traveler and because of the quiet location, I felt a little bit lonely. There’s probably more going on in the main season. ->I think if you’re looking for a quiet, nice place and wanna go surfing this is a good ch...

Very cute hostel! My main complaint is there wasn’t an all female room, which I thought wasn’t a big deal, but when I got there i realized I was the only woman staying at the hostel at all, and it seems like the staff leaves when they aren’t checking people in in the afternoon. So I was basically staying in an (adorable,well decorated) alone with a bunch of dudes. Had no problems, but I was a little nervous going to bed as this was my first solo trip.

Vraiment cute comme Hostel, on se sent dans une maison! Cependant pas de petit dejeuner car octobre c’est low season! Nous etions seulement que 3 en tout dans l’hostel, donc tres calme. Mais l’etablissement a un charme qui ressemble vraiment a une maison et ca permet de créer des connexions.

The private room was great. Agree with other users - this feels more like a shared home than hostel. I look for a safe, clean bed, near where i wanna be and this was all three

Great stay at this hostel, the staff are lovely, the rooms are clean and cosy and the atmosphere is great. It feels more like a sharehouse then a hostel, but thats what makes it so nice.

this hostel was really comfortable for a peaceful stay in Peniche ! the location is perfect as it's a 10 min walk from the beach and from the town center! the included breakfast was perfect before surf and the staff was really welcoming and helpfull! maybe not the best if you're a party person but the comfort and cleaness really made me want to come back!

Ben ubicata nel centro e molto vicina al molo per andare alle Berlengas. Camere pulite e curate. Personale super cortese. Davvero un ostello super comodo.
