Footprints Hostel

Staff were fantastic but the conditions of the rooms & showers with the price just don't correlate, and I wish they did. I was so hopeful to stay here but was so disappointed, the walls are paper thin, I was woken by another dorm's sex/snores (obviously not the owners fault),the mattresses are paper thin, the showers are under a tin roof so tis like a sauna, thankfully the water is slightly cold (no option for hot water) and, the AC was dripping onto my bed when put to cold so room was warm/hot

Sewage in the street next to the entrance. Showers are very dirty and smell bad. The beds move a lot and make noise. Room without window. There is not a single comfortable seat, all very hard and uncomfortable. The owners are unfriendly if you do not book an extra with them (tour, transport, breakfast...). There are hostels for a few euros more 2 streets towards the mountain with a 20 times higher value.

Room was simple, fairly clean. Front desk staff was nice, but bathroom wasn't great and woke up to a cockroach in the sink. Also seemed like we were the only people there that night.

Il n’y a qu’un lavabo pour tout l’hostel, les lits ne sont pas conforts j’avais tellement mal au dos, et ceux qui sont sur le lit du dessus beaucoup d’entres eux avaient la barrière de sécurité qui tombait dans la nuit… sur les photos on voit beaucoup de fêtes, de sociabilisation mais ce n’est pas du tout le cas ! cependant le personnel est sympathique et l’hostel n’est pas très loin de la rue principale

The staff was so helpful and friendly! But the bed was so unconfortable, no space to put your bag nearby, if you are on the top bed you have no plugs too. Bathroom were not really clean, only one sick with no soap. And shower were full of flies / mosquitoes. But the location and the staff were great !

due to off season the bedsheets hadn’t been changed directly before we came so we had some dead bugs in our bed. the staff changed it right after we told them and apologized. good place for 1-2 nights

The hosts are really friendly and helpful. However, the facilities are very limited. One sink and two toilets for 24 people in the dorms. No personal outlet close to the bed, no lockers.

Lovely stay at Footprints, essentially just slept here and whenever we felt the thirst to socialise we headed to Outpost or Friends Hostel. It is primitive but well worth the money for 2/3 nights.

It was a pretty good stay, it wasn’t the best but it worked. The help you book tours and stuff so they are helpful but when we rented scoters with someone else the staff got a little cold to us, but overall good breakfast.

Super helpful owners! We were in a private room and it was great that it had aircon! Actually we think the aircon might have been broken such that it was almost too cold but I hardly want to complain about that! We had a great stay!

Great staff, love that it is all family run and has a homey feel if you’re feeling abit homesick. Everyone is so welcoming and willing to give you the best experience during your time in coron!

Great hosts and location!!

Great little hostel, really good value for money. They offer basically everything you’re looking for to do in coron! The owner and lady at front desk were so so kind!! Just wish they had curtains that wrapped the whole day round :)

Good location, friendly staff. AC in room works very well and the hostel offer a lot of tours/ activities. You can get eggs on toast for breakfast for cheap. We stayed in a private room, you should note it doesn’t have a window and the shared toilet has no seat but good value.

Really great hostel, Emily, Don and everyone else was so nice and helpful! Would always recommand.

We had an amazing stay here. The staff, especially Emily and Don were the best part; friendly, helpful and made us feel welcome right away, they even remember your names. The beds and facilities were good enough and the place was clean. Small lockers outside the rooms. Cheap breakfast for 50 pesos. Friendly dog named Peanut. They will do your laundry for 100 pesos per kg. Thank you so much for the amazing stay, we won’t forget about it! :)

- super clean - super friendly Next time I would choose a different expedition company than the one offered from the hostel (forgot snorkels, Kayaks were broken, overall experience could have been way better for that money).

loved our stay at footprints hostel! the location is super convenient and made everything easy. the staff go above and beyond and are so kind and helpful. the vibe is the perfect balance of chill but still social. beds are basic but comfortable. we had the best time and would absolutely stay again!

Could do with a bit of an update but you get what you pay for however the staff there were absolutely amazing. They were there to greet you every morning and night and helped with whatever I needed!

Hosts were very friendly and welcoming. They have great knowledge of the area and can advise on tours and things to do in Coron. Very budget friendly and would highly recommend!

A quite small and very relaxed hostel run by a married couple. Beds are comfy, tourers are clean and you can get breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff, they can book the expedition for you as well. Great stay, would recommend for one or a couple nights

the hostel itself is very basic and when I stayed there there was no one else in my room so wasn’t a crazy atmosphere BUT THE OWNER is so so so sweet and makes you feel like you’re home🥹 i met the whole family and played with the granddaughter all afternoon. definitely recommend staying here if you’re in coron for a short time. hostel has everything you need and free coffee + very cheap breakfast. short walk to the places to be :)

It’s okay

You get what you pay for. Very cheap dorms and kind people. One sink and two toilets for around 20 people staying at the same time is not ideal. Property is quite clean but run down.

very basic in terms of facilities but expectations were set from the start which was totally fine. what's important was that it was clean and I actually had very good sleep! note that the private rooms are in the attic and have no windows so it might be an issue if you're claustrophobic. but the staff and the owner went above and beyond in making sure I had a very comfy stay.

Good for budget and one night stay.

Very nice place, clean, safe (guarded by a dog that once went downtown with me 😊👍 I liked it), very friendly owner and staff, good location, 1 minute from the local grocery store, grill, and bakery, 20 minutes walk to the pier. Free tea, coffee, and water. Small improvements to make this place even better: more sinks, more hangers in the shower, and a shelf above the bed.
