+ The food

- I had a really disappointing stay at this hostel. It was so unclean that I couldn’t even bring myself to sleep there the first night. The bed sheets smelt fusty and damp, and even the bed railings felt grimy to the touch. The showers in the dorms were filthy — I honestly didn’t feel any cleaner coming out of them. The storage space under the beds was also incredibly dirty; I was actually afraid to put my bags in there. On top of that, the location isn’t ideal — you can’t even walk up the beach to other hostels at certain times of the day because of the tide, which really limits what you can do. The place was also quite empty, which added to the strange atmosphere. It really seems like the owners only care about their Saturday event (“Nestival”), which, judging by the general state of the rooms, I’m actually glad I wasn’t around for. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend staying here. There are plenty of better options for the same price (or less) that are much cleaner and better run.

+ O Restaurante é gostoso porem um pouco caro. Os staffs eram amigáveis.

- Equipes de segurança gritando com minhas amigas, elas estavam comendo na escada pois não tinha nenhuma cadeira para sentar na ˜praça˜ de alimentação. Quando fomos perguntar por que estava gritando, aumentou a voz mais ainda deixando o clima com um tom de ameaça.

+ Actually nothing

- I don’t know where to start… first of all, they forgot about us, so we had to wait 2 hours in rain until somebody pick us up. Then we arrive through crazy jungle messy road and we meet young arrogant guy on the reception. He didn’t even say sorry that they forget about us… so we did check in. After check in, this guy told us that he has to cancel our last night, because they are closing their hostel. I was like that’s not my problem, I booked it from 27.06 to 01.07. and I want to sleep their in these dates. But he arrogantly said that we were supposed to check their Instagram and TikTok, because it was written there…. Dude, we searched it on booking, nobody said anything their closure, they didn’t even have courage to text or inform you about anything… so we left immediately, didn’t spend a night there, but with lot of experiences - PLEASE DONT STAY HERE AND DONT SUPPORT THEIR AMATEUR STUPID BUSINESS

+ Location is good, the beach is beautiful

- Basically it’s a NON STOP Party place, which is not really advertised in their page. People are quite unfriendly, there is party non stop, the dorms and the toilets are terrible because outsiders just use them and make them super dirty, beds are very uncomfortable, in general i was very happy to leave. The food wasn’t great either . People at the parties are so drunk and unfriendly and dirty

+ Stedet ligger på stranden hvilket er omtrent det eneste positive at sige om stedet.

- Det meste ved Nest kunne vi ikke lide. Da vi ankom til vores værelse på Nest brød vi grædende samme og undersøge med det samme, om vi kunne finde et alternativ på øen. Det startede allerede dårligt ud med at vi have booked afhentning ved færgen hos Nest, men da vi ankom som planlagt var de der ikke, og vi måtte selv finde en løsning på hvordan vi skulle komme til Nest. Da vi kom frem og forsøgte at tjekke ind, hvor de blot kiggede spørgende på os fordi musikken kl. 17 var bragende høj, kunne de hverken forstå hvorfor det var et problem at ingen ikke var mødt op til færgen som aftalt, og de havde også udfordringer med at finde vores værelse og vi måtte af flere omgange vente til en ny kollega kom, men pga. Nestivallen virkede det til at de ansatte hellere ville feste eller hygge sig med andre gæster end at hjælpe os med at finde vores værelse. Da vi spurgte om de kunne hjælpe med at booke afhentning til os da vi skulle til færgen igen, sagde de at vi selv skulle sørge for det, men at der altid var ledige tuktukker for enden af den lange indkørsel som vi kunne tage, da vi tidligt om formiddagen skulle mod færgen - da vi kom derop var der ingen, og vi var lige ved at misse færgen, så vi vil på det kraftigste fraråde at planlægge alt der handler om transport med Nest. Da vi kom troede vi at vi var gået forkert fordi det lignede en forladt bygning eller en bygning som kun medarbejdere skulle se, men det var der man boede. Vi var desuden ikke klar over hvor afsides det lå, hvilket vi var meget skuffet over. Vi troede det var en hyggeligt og socialt sted, og var ikke klar over hvor vildt og voldsomt Nestival var og at technomusikken fortsatte kørte lidt i 7 om morgenen, det var frygteligt! Vores private værelse var absolut heller ikke noget at råbe hura for; der var svamp på badeværelset og i vinduerne og badeværelse var småt, ulækkert og afløbet var stoppet, så hele badeværelset sejlede hvis man tog bad i mere end 10 sekunder. ALDRIG BO PÅ NEST!

+ Nothing

- Staff were rude and unapproachable. Not to mention the antics that went on the night we were there. The bedding was dirty. The showers have toilets in so when you want a wee you’re walking in dirty water. It’s completely isolated especially if it’s been raining.

- The worst hostel I’ve stayed in and I’ve been travelling for 7 months. Nestival is okay but if you want to go just stay somewhere else and pay the $8 for the ticket because the hostel is actually vile. It is super dirty didn’t even clean the bed sheets my friend stayed in it had evident white sweat marks, the kitchen looked like somewhere where diseases are created, and the toilet was revolting I felt worse after showering there was black mold and the floor was constantly filthy. The staff were super rude especially the English girl with tattoos she seemed like it was an issue to serve customers and just do her job. There is also a guy who goes around scamming for tickets to make a profit who is literally invited to Nestival so seems super sketchy. They also charge deposits for towels and keys which in a place that’s cash only with no atm on the island it’s just super difficult. The beach is covered with the white foam from the beanbags and there’s just rubbish everywhere and parts of the hostel just stink. Really seems that they only want money and don’t care about anything else. Nestival isn’t worth staying at this awful hostel, felt like I was going to catch loads of illnesses there and my friend had a high fever staying there and literally started hallucinating from the heat of the jungle dorms. They also refused to let her get food without buying tokens just because it was Nestival. Stay somewhere else on Koh Rong I actually hated it here.

+ Le personnel était serviable et le restaurant est super mais les prix très très chère pour le pays ! Au bord de la plage.

- Les chambres sont sales, du sable partout tout comme les sales de bains. Tout le matériel est rouillé et vous aurez des petites visites des petites souris si vous êtes dans des bungalow. Si vous êtes en dortoir, ne paniquez pas si vous entendez ses petits dans le faux plafonds qui est à moitié en train de tomber … Sans oublier qui si vous séjournez le samedi, attention il y a le Nestival un festival qui attire bcp de monde mais les gens rentrent dans les dortoirs et utilisent les salles de bains ! Donc imaginez si en état normal il y a du sable partout mais alors là … vous vous demandez si vous êtes plus sale avant ou après la Douche ! Ah sans oubliez que le samedi vous ne pouvez pas manger a l’hostel car festival !!

+ Nice parties and very social and nice people.

- The rooms are very dirty especially the bathrooms. One member of our group lost his cap and AirPods at the hostel, but the hostel is impossible to come in contact with after your stay has concluded. Tried contacting over phone, mail, booking app and website with no answer.

+ Nothing at all. Maybe the proximity for the event

- Everything was super dirty, a dog even entered the room and bite a girl’s face. Everyone from the party just entered to the room and used the bathroom, so imagine how dirty it was. People having sex there… Absolutely disgusting.
