Yes! Lisbon Hostel

The place was very clean and the staff were nice, but you have to pay extra for all of the social activities which is disappointing. €15 is a lot for a hostel family dinner, and while €15 is standard for a hostel pub crawl, I don't see how the hostel can justify charging €5 for evening activities at the hostel (e.g. bingo, karaoke) that don't cost them anything to run.

This hostel came *highly* recommended but did not live up to the hype. The most frustrating thing was how unduly expensive the entire stay was: 35 euro tour, 5 euro to participate in games, 15 euro dinner then 12 euro bar crawl. Moreover, they only take cash which (I assume) is to avoid tax so at least pass that saving on. Additionally, the staff (apart from Tiago) were rude and the hostel smelt like mould despite what looked like thorough cleaning? Would think twice before paying so much!

Can NOT be in the same category of Living Lounge or Solo Traveller hostels. Full stop. Despite the central location.

Overrated and overpriced. The Wifi isn't working at all and I didn't even have mobile network in my room for no reason!! The room's design is nice and there is a space to hang up your jacket or a towel but unfortunately it's not well isolated, so I could hear the noise that comes from the reception and showers. Also, the room's lock aren't working properly. The suff in the reception are nice and funny. Overall, nothing special there. it doesn't worth 35 euros per night.

There are signs in the rooms saying "No vomiting". That probably says it all. You can't get a wink of sleep here and some of the travelers were just disgusting, sorry. No consideration at all in the dorms, especially as there are no other quiet places to chat, nor adequate washrooms to get ready (keywords: light & privacy). For me, the hostel description is not correct. It's certainly a very good party hostel but if you want to get some sleep without NEEDING 5 drinks, please don't come.

For being a party hostel the atmosphere was very artificial, would describe as forced fun. They played extremely loud music so you couldn't talk to anyone around you and pestered everybody to go on their bar crawl (which consisted of going around to international pubs that were empty and pour randomly selected bottles of liquors into your mouth) I didn't enjoy. Kitchen wasn't super user friendly. Overall the rooms were pretty nice and had a good location, liked that there was a bathroom + shower...

Stayed in countless hostels, but this was my worst experience yet as I got bit by bed bugs. These platforms keep deleting comments of guests reporting such bed bugs and unfortunately new guests like me aren't able to see them when booking, even with a thorough research. Really hoping that this comment will stay as I've since found such occurrences go from this year to as far back as 5 years ago!!!

Nice staff, decent enough hostel but massively overpriced. Very poor value.

Hostel de party, les gens n’avaient pas de respect un envers l’autre. Sex dans les dormes et dans les toilettes. Très bruyant aux ptites heures du matin. Une de mes pires expériences d’hostel.

The staff were so polite and helpful and the location was amazing, right at downtown. Unfortunately the compliments end there, the hostal seemed so old and lacking maintenance. The rooms smelled really bad and overall everything seemed dirty. Honestly, I won’t stay again.

I had an amazing time at Yes! The staff were wonderful and brought such great energy at all times. There were a plethora of activities that made it easy to meet and connect with others. I would highly recommend the walking tours and family dinners!

Good hostel, very clean and nice staff, but weirdly not super social when I was there? People didn’t mingle very munch in common areas, I think this might’ve just been a bit of bad luck while I was there though!

My first time staying in a hostel and I couldn’t recommend it enough! Very clean place, kind and welcoming staff!

Everything was fine. The bed is comfortable, the locker under it is very big, and the bathroom is very clean and private. The only annoying thing is that small payments in the hostel (like towel rental or the deposit you have to make to receive your key) have to be in cash.

it was very clean and the beds were nice. there is lots of space under the beds to store your belongings. the wifi does not reach the rooms though fyi. there is a 40 euro sintra van tour that is very good and takes you to 5 places. dinner is 15 euros but you also get access to open bar. staff is very kind. people were very friendly and social!

The hostel is very noisy. Due to the many organized activities and the party atmosphere, it’s hard to find some peace and quiet here. I was disturbed every night by loud and drunken guests. The hostel is a great spot for young people who are looking to party. That being said, the location is excellent and the staff are friendly.

An excellent hostel at best possible location. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Common place is very comfortable and lovely.

I fell in love with Lisbon and this hostel helped with that. Very clean, I found my people, it’s in a really good location - easy to get to restaurants, the famous yellow building off the port, staff were a great vibe, under bed storage drawers were spacious, elevators for convenience etc. you can’t go wrong choosing this hostel.

Genuinely the nicest hostel I’ve ever visited. The staff are funny and very nice, the people there were fun and kind when I went, and the food and pub crawl were fantastic, highly recommended. Genuinely cannot recommend this place enough.

This was definitely one of the best hostels I’ve done. The crew was so nice and super helpful. This hostel has a great vibe for young travelers. I also did the sintra tour which I highly recommend.

Can’t recommend this hostel enough! It has everything you need, felt very safe as a female solo traveler and I would highly recommend booking the Sintra tour!!

Stayed one night and it was perfect. The rooms are good, facilities clean, and staff very friendly/helpful.

Unbeatable location!!! Nice room with AC. The hostel organises lots of events: I’d recommend the free city tour with Paula – she gives an excellent overview of the city’s history and takes you to try paisteis de nata :) Very friendly staff. Close to plenty of restaurants, shops and souvenir shops.

Awesome team, awesome activities! Had a great time at Yes, friendly guests and perfectly located. Karen & Mani, I'll miss you both.
