- - Horrible experience with some members of the staff - staff is not trained (arrogant, raging, complicated …). - Very cold in the rooms under the roof and no extra blanket. Staff told me « Next time you have to bring your own blanket » - Lots of noise from the heavy doors banging - Mold in bathroom - Bad smell - Mainly a place for long term residents on monthly basis who cannot find a flat - strange ambiance
+ Even though the situation was confusing and disappointing for us, I would like to express my gratitude to the reception staff. They were kind, professional, and tried their best to understand our situation with empathy and sincerity, despite the lack of internal communication. Their attitude made a difficult moment a little easier to bear.
- Before our arrival, we were told that dormitory beds could not guarantee that we would stay in the same room. When we asked to cancel for that reason, the hotel responded in writing that cancellation was unnecessary because a shared room for both of us had already been arranged. However, upon arrival, the reception staff were completely unaware of this message, and we learned that staying together was impossible. We therefore left without checking in. This contradiction between the written confirmation and what happened on-site was caused by the hotel’s internal communication failure, yet no consideration or compensation was offered, with the hotel insisting that “no exceptions could be made.” Despite the detailed communication exchanged beforehand, the lack of any fair resolution felt deeply disappointing. I hope the hotel improves how information is communicated and handled so that similar misunderstandings do not happen to other guests. ※ Additional note after reading the hotel’s reply: The hotel’s response avoids the central issue — the internal communication failure that caused this problem — and instead shifts responsibility to Booking.com, even though Booking.com had already understood the situation and intervened. The problem was not the booking conditions but the hotel’s inability to communicate its own promises, which remains unfair and unprofessional.

- السرير مترفع جدا و متعب في الصعود و النزول ، و كان هناك أزعاج شخص يشاهد التلفاز مع الساعة الثانية صباحا و من ثم لم استطع النوم و كذلك بعد التحدث معه اطفا التلفاز و استعمل الهاتف بدون سماعات الصراحه لم أتمكن من النوم
+ Leider durften wir keine Vorteile im Groners kennenlernen. Trotz telefonischer und schriftlicher Absprache beim Buchen war es am Anreisetag plötzlich nicht möglich 2 Reisende in einem Zimmer unterzubringen. Absolut unverständlich. Auch wenn 2 Personen eine Buchung vornehmen landet man in getrennten Zimmern. Für uns ein klares No Go und so kurzfristig auch echt eine logistische Herausforderung zum Samstag Abend..

+ It was close to the city center and clean
- We booked two beds in a twin bed room. unfortunately they booked us in two separate rooms which was for us- two females- too uncomfortable to stay separatly, but each one of us with an unknown male person alone in one bedroom. On top of that one of the rooms didn't have a door, just a curtain to the corridor!!!!! And the explanation for that was a Denkmalschutz situation and "we should have seen it in the photos on the website!!!" And we couldn't receive any other options and change of room/ to a dorm (hostel was booked out) neither any money back. Take it or leave it.

- Die Rezeption ist mit das Unfreundlichste, was ich jemals erlebt habe. Katastrophaler Service und super dreckig, sowohl im Aufenthaltsraum, als auch auf dem Zimmer. Im Eingangsbereich (Turm) laufen Ratten rum und der Müll steht einfach rum. Lasst die Finger von der Unterkunft!

+ Das Hotel liegt zentral gelegen mitten in der Stadt
- Das Zimmer war im 5ten Stock und hatte keine Tür sondern einen Vorhang. Wir haben eingecheckt und gleich wieder ausgecheckt. Die beiden Zimmer rechts und links hatten Türen. Als Antwort beim auschecken zur Frage warum keine Tür im Zimmer sei hieß es aus Denkmalschutzgründen. In der Stellungnahme des Hotels gegenüber booking.con hieß es : es sei ein Feuerwehrzugang und daher keine Tür. Ich habe noch keine Feuerwehr gesehen die in den 5ten Stock kommt und Denkmalschutz ist das Gebäude aber nicht im Gebäude. Für meine Bekannte und mich ein Grund sofort wieder abzureisen und ich werde diese Unterkunft nicht weiter empfehlen.
- Habe etwas verschlafen und würde sehr sehr schäbig behandelt!! Da werden die nicht mehr mein Geld verdienen!! 💰 Grüße von einen Gast aus Österreich!!!

Ich war erstaunt, so ein wunderbares Hostel für so einen günstigen Preis mitten in der schönen Altstadt vorzufinden. Das Zimmer war sehr groß und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, ebenso der Aufenthaltsbereich. Wunderbar, werde demnächst ein Wochenende mit meiner Tochter dort verbringen.
I was amazed to find such a wonderful hostel for such a reasonable price in the middle of the beautiful Altstadt.The room was very large and tastefully furnished, as was the stay area.Wonderful, I will soon be spending a weekend there with my daughter.
Schön sauber _ stylisch eingerichtet. Erinnert z.T. eher an ein hochwertiges Hotel als an ein Hostel. Betten leider etwas wackelig.

Overall was a good place to stay. Beds were comfortable. Some of my friends were falsely accused of doing things without proof; they did not do what they were accused of. I personally didn’t have any issues with the staff and found them helpful when I needed them, although I did notice there were quite a few people in the hostel who did have some minor issues. Just be aware.There was a decent atmosphere, clean facilities, and a good kitchen. Overall, I would recommend for stays less than a wee...

I really found it a top-notch stay, the price-quality ratio of the dorm room was super!
Super nice hostel with great kitchen facilities and common room. Lots of games and a kicker table! Staff are super friendly and helpful as well! Very well located in the city and close to transit. Would be fun to have a couple of organized social events to make the atmosphere a bit more friendly. I also recommend adding another washer and dryer since there is only one of each and the processing time is long so you have to wait a while if the machines are occupied.

+ Ich bin steht's immer nur an die Einzelzimmer interessiert. Da ist das Preis-Leistung Verhältnis natürlich hervorragend.
- Für die Ansprüche,das es ein Hostel ist, gibt es nichts zu beklagen.

- Stof bij kozijnen en onder tweepersoonsbed. Versleten kitrand bij douchedeur.
