Gito Hostel

My room had bedbugs and the staff didn’t inform us. We found out from the people who were getting bit. We found a bedbug and had to leave in the middle of the night to another hostel and they told the other girls in our room to not tell us. I did that night refunded but not the whole stay.

Reading the reviews I was expecting a really good and clean hostel, however we were quite disappointed. The beds in the 10 bed mixed dorm were rock hard, and the bunk would move if the person below you would turn over. The curtains also aren’t fully until the top so light comes through. The bathroom was not clean, drain was clogged so hairs everywhere on the bathroom floor. However, the people were really kind and the breakfast was the best so far for me. Location was not the best but fine.

Dirty with wires hanging out everywhere, my pillows had stains on it and the rooms are very cramped. If you’re unlucky like me & get the bunk an arms length away from the balcony door you won’t be able to sleep as the door doesn’t close properly so it’s noisy and you get bitten by mosquitoes. Left with around 20 bites. The only thing good about this place is the location. Went for breakfast at 7 when it starts, food was cold. Staff don’t want to help you either, too busy on their phone...

Staff were great but easily the least sociable hostel I’ve been to, room was also a bit grim and smelly

Great location and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was a great size for 6 women to share and decent size bathroom for all too. Would recommend to all.

Saubere Unterkunft, nur ein Klo+Dusche auf 10 Personen pro Zimmer. Ablagebereiche in den Betten sehr praktisch und Aufenthaltsbereiche sowohl drinnen als auch draußen.

Clean, friendly staff, secure, good atmosphere. I myself saw the daily deep cleaning everyday. Laundary is also not expensive. A little drawback would be the location like it’s a little far from the old town , not much. But loved the stay

Very cute hostel. The staff welcomed you like family. Only minus is not every night there is an event. So if you are unlucky you miss them. Still very social and easy to meet people. Breakfast was lovely and staff was amazing.

Très bon hostel. Les réceptionnistes sont vraiment adorables. Il manque de douches pour le nombre de personnes, on faisait la queue pour prendre la douche... Le petit déjeuner est incroyable ! Ça manque juste d'ambiance mais je pense que c'est aussi un hostel chill donc ok !

Quite pricy compared to other hostels but was very social, the guy in the desk was great and super helpful. Rooms really spacious and a warm shower!

I only stayed for 1 night unfortunately but it was such a lovely hostel! Great vibe, didn’t seem to be the most social but really chill. Very clean and comfy beds! rooms were very spacious. Free breakfast was great!

Die beste Unterkunft die man buchen kann. Man kann Fahrräder ausleihen, Aktivitäten buchen, Busse buchen und alles funktioniert super. Die Betten sind bequem, die Zimmer sauber und der Service ist super. Der Besitzer ist sehr nett und ich würde immer wieder kommen!

Wow, such a great place! Amazing staff, super-clean rooms, very good beds, delicious breakfast and most of all... Such lovely and friendly atmosphere and vibes. The location is also great as it is in a very peaceful neighborhood, just next to a cute street full of cafes, bars and restaurants and just a few steps to the Old Town. I have stayed at Gito many times. Every time it is always a highlight. The best staff, very clean, and always a welcome sight after a long day of exploring. They make you feel like you’re at home which is a hard thing to do in the hostel world. Can’t recommend them enough.

Gito was honestly one of the most memorable parts of my trip. The staff here are some of the best people I’ve ever met sweet, reliable, and a little cheeky in the best way 😆. This is my second stay at Gito in Hoi An and it was the best decision to go there again! I have stayed at other hostels in Hoi An but this is more modern and spacious than the others. Very friendly staff providing great advice on things to do, attractions and of course tailors (yes, there are differences). Good free breakfast is included which is great and perfect to connect to staff and other travelers. I loved the super fun family dinners in real local places with the hosts. Greets to everyon...

Gito is that place you book for a night and accidentally never leave. Not a party zoo, not boring either,just the perfect social vibe where meeting people feels effortless. Clean, spacious rooms, chill common areas, and somehow always something fun going on. Don’t skip the family dinner,it might just be the best night of your trip. Honestly, great vibes all around. One of the best hostels I've ever been to. Location is great - walking distance to everything worth seeing in HoiAn. The place is clean and kept tidy, in a proper shape. Great vibe from the moment I arrived,super welcoming and fun atmosphere. Beds are comfy with reading lights, rooms cleaned daily, and the free breakfast is actually really good. Good vibes all round. Super friendly crowd, easy to meet people, and it never feels forced or too loud. The rooms are spacious with plenty of storage and my roommates were lovely. The garden is a cute spot to relax and hang out. Location is perfect because you're 5 minutes away from everything. Highly recommend :)

There are so many great things about this hostel. Lucas, the owner, and his team are incredibly kind. The breakfast is tasty and filling, the beds are very comfortable, and it’s quiet at night despite being in the center. Rooms are cleaned daily, which is a big plus. Best hostel ever! This is my 2nd stay here! Super clean dorms & bathrooms, the nicest staff (big shoutout Lucas, Kyle & Jerry!) & the nicest free breakfast! The vibes here are super social and friendly, it’s so easy to meet new people! I love the organised family dinners, pickleball games, beach days & group cycle trips, it’s so much fun! This is the best hostel in SE Asia that is social but not super party focused which I love! I know for sure this this is not my last visit to Gito 🫶...
