Hostal Galapagos by Bar de Beto

The daughter of the owner is really nice and helpful. The rooms are simple. One morning the water didn’t work. Door to the building was open all night. Overall it’s ok but too pricey for what you get.

Very nice hostel overall, but not very good value for money. Wifi was the worst I've had so far on the islands. Beds were nice, so was aircondition and the family that runs the hostel are nice. Good location, right in front of the flamingo lagoon. Pretty clean but gets dirty quickly because the hallway is just a sandy path - very charming though.

Das Waschbecken im Badezimmer war sehr klein und es war immer überall Wasser. Der Boden war immer sandig nirgends war ein Besen zu sehen. Toll war dass eine Bar zum Hostal gehörte und man da ab $20 Konsum ein Geschenk bekommen hat. Besitzer waren sehr freundlich.

This was a nice spot to not spend too much time in. The hostel had many great facilities except I wasn't shown any of them! Instead check in focused a lot on the rules of the hostel and attention to keep it clean. The space is on an island where some of the main attractions are accessible via the beach, so sand in the rooms was understandable. What wasn't, was the insistence from the woman who checked me in to use a dirty sandy mat to 'clean' my shoes before I walked into the room. Had potential

I really liked this place. The owner and his daughter were very kind and helpfull with things to do in town. I definitely recommend this place. Hopefully can come back one day 😊

Nice clean Hostel next to the beach and close to the center. In the "backyard" you can see flamingos from the terrace. Breakfast should be included in that pricerange

Amazing! The place is really beautiful, next to the beach, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hostel!

J'ai adoré mon séjour dans cet hostel, ma chambre était spacieuse, propre, avec un service de ménage tous les jours, une climatisation et une salle de bain fonctionnelle avec de l'eau chaude. Hostel en plein centre de la ville, très bien situé. Le personnel était disponible et agréable.Je regrette juste l'absence de lieux communs au sein de l'hostel, hormis la cuisine avec quelques tabourets, d'où les 3 étoiles pour l'ambiance car il est difficile de rencontrer des gens vu la configura...

What a lovely place! I spent Christmas in the Galapagos and the owner family made us feel so welcome, organizing some cute activities :) rooms were clean and cozy and it’s right next to the beach. Would definitely recommend!

More like a hotel than a hostel! Really lovely staff and they have a nice bar (however the pink iguana bar had live music and more atmosphere!) rooms were clean but constantly sandy as next to the beach. Showers really nice and warm! Small kitchen. Right next to a pond with flamingoes in it and great location for beach and town!

Great accommodation - stayed in a very clean, well equipped single room the majority of the time. Super close to the beach and bar with occasional live music. The owner was very helpful and helped arrange a taxi for the early-morning ferry and gave great food recommendations :)

Amazing location and the staff were lovely, only issue for me was that they close the kitchen at 8 so you can make food/hit drinks after then.

A great little spot right on the beach. Had a lovely stay and so close to the start of the wall of teas trail. WiFi was a bit temperamental but otherwise facilities were great.

Great stay. Hostel was clean, bed was comfy and the staff were so lovely.

Don’t miss this place if you are on Isabela Island. It’s the best family running the hostel and nearby bar. I loved resting in the hammock in the afternoon. I really liked the kitchen, with fresh water and plenty of supplies to make my meals. The people who were here were also so nice. This is a do not miss! 10/10.

Very nice and chill hostel. Has a beachfront bar with hammocks which is the perfect place to hang out after day trips. Lovely and very helpful staff and nice clean rooms

Es war großartig dort, ich hatte eine tolle Zeit, habe nette Menschen kennengelernt, Gäste so wie auch Mitarbeiter. Die Bar hat eine klasse Lage am Strand, auch wenn man 50m von den Zimmern dorthin laufen muss, da diese nicht direkt an der Bar sind.

Amazing stay. Great location next to the beach and the bar is easily accesible and is a great spot for a nice drink. The room was clean and tidy, as was the kitchen. Fiorella was particularly welcoming and friendly and very helpful in recommendations. Top marks

Ich hatte eine tolle entspannte Zeit im Hostel, besonders hervorzuheben ist herzliche Inhaberfamilie. Ich habe mich selten so willkommen gefühlt

This wonderful hostel is my favourite one on galapagos! The hostel is very familiar and is run by a family with a lot of passion. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean, there is a small kitchen with a fridge and a roof terrace. My favorite place was the hammock in the bar with a view of the sea, which hostel guests can use at any time. Occasionally games are played in the bar or there is dancing - I had a really great time! Fiorella also helped me a lot. I can only recommend it!!
