Okra Hoian Homestay

The hostel itself is very nice, and has very nice hotel staff. We stayed here during the flooding, which the staff handled very well. The only problem we faced was our room. There was mold in it, and it had a bad smell. We informed the staff, and they were very understanding and helped us to a new room - even upgraded us to a private room. We were informed that they would clean out the mold asap.

Personal mega lieb, zimmer waren gut, lage war echt schlecht, und wirklich eine gute stimmung ist dort nicht vorhanden. Jeder irgendwie für sich alleine.

Quite far out of town in an area that looks a bit abandoned and unfinished. Bathrooms and toilets were quite dirty. Air con really cold and only a thin sheet for warmth. Very nice cafe next door with discount if you stay at hostel. Booked 3 nights but left after 1 as it was too far away from everything and there were lots of dogs but owner was really lovely and understanding!

Loved this homestay, about 20 mins walking from the Oldtown, but they have free bicycles or you can rent a grab easily. I really loved the home-y vibe here it was comfortable and on the quiet side, yet easy to get to things if you wanted something more social/active. Host was so friendly and helpful. Rooms were very comfy and the dogs are so cute. would definitely stay again!

Beautiful place, very clean and peaceful. I went with a friend and booked a private room but if you’re solo I wouldn’t advise staying here unless you want to stay solo - it’s more of a guest house than a hostel!

Out of town and not very social but just what I was after! Breakfast in the morning was great too. And the dogs are so cute!

Okra Hostel is perfect als je zoekt naar een rustig hostel in Hoi An. Het hostel had fietsen waar je gebruik van kon maken, heel fijn! Personeel is behulpzaam!

I really enjoyed my stay here overall and met a lovely group of people. The atmosphere is nice and chill but you are able to socialise. The staff were lovely and the bed was very comfortable. I just have some small issues, the floors were a bit dirty (an issue as you have to walk around bare foot), the town in 20 min walk away (not 10 like the property details said), and one of the communal areas pictured is not there. Not things that ruined my stay though, I would still highly recommend Okra.

Staying at Okra was a great experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful (they helped us book train and car) and even hosted a free Tet-holiday-lunch for everyone staying at the hostel. The dorms were also clean, only issue was the shower/bathroom combination.

Personnels très gentils et accueillants. Par contre, dans le dortoir c'est du tapis au sol et dans la salle de bain il y avait quelques moustiques. Il n'y a pas d'air commune extérieure autre qu'à l'avant de l'hostel.

Such a good stay in all aspects! Highly recommend!

Favourite hostel of our trip so far! The owner was so kind and helpful, the facilities were amazing, so many places to sh*t and chill and the rooms were huge. Also the cutest collection of hostel dogs I’ve ever seen. And free bikes!!!

Literally the best hostel I’ve stayed in, so clean and spacious and Phuc who runs it is literally an angle on earth so lovely and Accommodating

I loved this hostel! Very comfy, pretty, and the location away from old town is actually quite nice. More relaxing. And the vibe was very friendly and social, I met some awesome people!

I loved my stay here. The guy at the reception is amazing. Could check in early because the bed was ready and had a great stay! Only (little) downside, its a bit out of the old town, but its not too far with the free bikes or a cheap grab. If I go to hoi an again i would stay in this hostel.

Spent a week here and loved it so much!! Could see busy Hoi An and then come back to the hostel and it feel peaceful

Super cozy hostel! People who run it are very friendly and accommodating, beds have curtains, AC is amazing and also a fan, both of which you can control. They also provide free bikes to use! Breakfast is good as well. Vibes are friendly and lowkey. Great spot to unwind and take it easy. Also super cute dogs :) Couldn’t recommend more!

Had a great stay at Okra Homestay in Hoi An. The hosts were genuinely warm and super helpful with recommendations - everything they suggested was spot on. I stayed in a private room which was very clean, comfortable, and finished to a high standard. Breakfast was fresh and really enjoyable. Location is ideal - close to both the beach and the night market, while still being quiet and relaxing. The puppies were a cute bonus too! Will definitely be staying here again and happily recommend it �...

Loved my time here, kept extending my stay. Such a chill but social vibe, free bikes, great breakfast, friendly staff, comfy beds, quiet location.

Ohh I loved my time there! The location is perfect, away from the touristy area but everything is in walking distance. Everyone is so sweet and welcoming there, this homestay will become your home in Vietnam in no time. And the stay is so pretty and very well managed 😍

What's not to love: Super Star Phuc (Owner), and super friendly staff. So involved & inviting, helping you structure the stay that you need & want. Whether that's to rest or do a bunch of activities, he's got options, and many local & touristy reccomendations. Free breakfast, tea, coffee, water, & bicycles🙌 Social if you want to, no pressure. For me, was a place to ground & reconnect, and really rest, which aided in my decision making fatigue. And got to meet some nice people🤗

Perfect location, yet away from the touristy side of Hoi An. Rooms are great and the hostel super cute. The staff is awesome and will give you plenty of tips to enjoy your trip. I totally recommend!

Really enjoyed my stay super friendly staff and can get your laundry done super easily and fast, would definitely recommend!

Super süßes Hostel, mit einem Café drinnen und super schöner Atmosphäre. Das Personal ist super lieb und man bekommt kostenlose Fahrräder. Grundsätzlich eher ruhig, aber trotzdem social.

Had an absolutely amazing stay here and hope to be back! They are so sweet here with nice clean facilities. Great omelettes in the morning! Would easily spend more time here.

Was only meant to stay here for 3 days, ended up changing plans and staying for 8, and would have stayed longer. The location was amazing, right next to the rice fields for a much quieter experience but only a small walk to the old town. The staff were 10/10, so friendly. Couldn’t say a bad word about the place
