Will & Tate City Stay

I arrived late on the train and was unable to enter the building. I tried contacting the facility and no one answered. I did receive an email but when I responded to it they did not respond. Eventually two drunk old men came out with a lit cigarettes asking if they could help us. It was a very uncomfortable situation. I am a grown woman who never experienced the Hostel world as a youth and thought it would be something fun. I was wrong. Young ladies be careful when going to this hostel!!

Es hat einen richtig abweisenden unsympathischen Eindruck gemacht. Man konnte sich sowohl in der Küche als auch dem Zimmer nicht wohl fühlen. Ein 12er Bett Zimmer ist einfach zu groß, um dort schlafen zu können. Dafür war es zu teuer!

The welcome staff really nice. the problem was the room, it was a 12 dorm room, really smelly and without a window, not at all hygienic. We are really disappointed by the customer care ,we called them to tell all this and they just replayed that was our problem and not theirs, not so kind and respectful:(

The trunks with 3 beds are horrible they are very shakey, the overall rating is just high because they incentivise you to rate the hostel for a beer or a coffee - in general the other rooms are may more enjoyable but the rooms with the 3 store trunks are super bad + it’s noisy

Probably will never stay here again and wouldn't recommend anyone else to stay here for longer than 1 night. Ridiculous that the bed sheets are not already fitted onto the beds for the price that you pay. staff were a bit clueless as to where the closest laundromat was and a bit dismissive when I asked for things. No activities, not a good social vibe and in a part of town where I got approached by a lot of weird people. Beds are also very thin. Would not recommend

Helpful and friendly staff. Nevertheless, paying 30€ per night for a very small and dark room without a window is way too much. Furthermore we were sleeping with 9 people in there even though the description said it was for 8. Overall it was very smelly and you felt disgusting just entering the room.

Sou mulher e não me senti segura. Tive uma má experiência. Os carregadores do quarto não funcionam. Tenham muito cuidado na rua do hostel… Se pudesse voltar atrás no tempo nunca teria ido para este hostel. E eu viajo bastante sozinha, e foi a primeira vez que me senti insegura num hostel. Nao recomendo !!!

The staff need to become more accomodating and the showers need to last longer than the 10 second timer. Accessible drinking water needs to be available on every level.

As for the budget room. Well, I'm Google local guide - I've visited lot of various hostels & places in EU & UK, sleeping in decent rooms, in capsule or backyard shed. I'm not a naive:Uncle is a name in the hotel business. But this room is close to the null. It matters if I have a stay somewhere or I am "stored" in a windowless chamber where "beds" consist on construction frames! Design? I'm an artist & love the contemporary! But THIS.. & I didn't write about pee-stinky shower, 5 € tax/da...

Nice spaces to lounge and super clean. Th room was very dark and the mattress and pillow material was very strange. The thing I just really did not like were the type of people that were there. Very strange. The women in my room talked about murdering people and "cancer" all the time, I know it is a dutch "curse word" but still, lots of snorting, loud people coming in and turning on lights. Maybe it was unlucky but would not recommend this cheapest room... also no customer service really.

All perfect, I booked a dorm room with capsules, an 8 bed room. Very nice doem, perfect clean bathroom and working kitchen. The kitchen is cleaned daily. Beds and linen are very clean and large. The bed in the capsules are really LARGE. I'm 1m85 en finally a bed without problems. The atmosphere? You need to make your own friends 😃

Great location, short walk away from Grote Markt, but far enough out to not be too loud/busy. Dorm room was a little cramped and dark, but still decent enough. Good hostel overall.

Had a nice stay here. Room wasn’t overly nice, and atmosphere a bit flat at times but location and staff were great

Nice location near Grote Markt and tram stop, good vibe and very friendly staff. The kitchen had everything you needed. Would definitely come back here :)

Overall great stay. Hostel is a short walk/tram-ride away from city center so be aware. Vibe is more like a traditional hotel than a hostel

Tolles Hostel vom Gesamtbild. Super modern, tolle Mitarbeiter, Küche und Kinoraum vorhanden. Megaa. Aber leider war das Zimmer nicht gut ausgestattet. Keine Hacken für Jacken, Handtücher. Fenster viel zu alt und lärmdurchlässig, denn direkt darunter fährt die Tram im Minutentakt. Ich hätte mir besser Reinigungsmöglichkeiten in der Küche gewünscht. Vielleicht auch Lappen und Handtücher. Aber das wichtigste ist das Bett. Leider so weich das man wie in einer Kule liegt. Leider kein g...

Excellent spot

First of all, super amazing and kind staff and an overall mood super chill and cozy. The showers and bathrooms were absolutely perfect, we still could have privacy even in a shared space. The common room and kitchen were ideal, but also our 12 bunk beds mixed room was everything we could have hoped for. Amazing experience!!

Great place overall. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere in the lobby was fantastic—people really seemed to enjoy themselves there.

Will & Tate City Stay is in a nice location within walking distance of the city center, and about 1.5 km from Den Haag HS en Den Haag Centraal trainstations. I stayed in a pleasant female dorm with a beautifully en-suite bathroom. W&TCS offers no real breakfast, but there's a kitchen and a cozy bar for drinks.

We absolutely loved staying at Will & Tate Hostel in the Hague. It's a great location, incredibly charming, and the staff are phenomenal.

With its super-friendly atmosphere and comfortable bar directly opposite the “Brouwergracht” tram stop (Trams 2 and 3 from the Centraal rail station direction Krayeenstein and Loosduinen) on the Prinsegracht street, one would be expecting to give this hostel five stars. However, with windowless triple-bunk dormitories and tiny shower cubicles somewhere up the narrow stairs, not to mention just two toilets, even the spacious self-kitchen can´t save this hostel from being only worth three sta...

also wir auf den Bildern hat unser Zimmer (Belverde Blue Room) definitiv nicht ausgeschaut- 3x 3stöckige Betten in einem Abstellkammerl ohne Fenster direkt vor der Küche und Bar. es war laut und heiß da drinnen. ansonsten war das Hostel sehr einladend (Bar, Aufenthaltsraum, gut ausgestattete Küche, sauberes Bad und Klo). das Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Lage vom Hostel ist auch super-nahe am Zentrum und die Straßenbahn hält direkt vor der Tür.

Price felt slightly above average but the hostel ticked all the boxes I was looking for: Getting some rest, store my luggage while exploring the city, friendly staff.
