Stayokay Den Haag (The Hague)

Couldn't enter my private room every time i came back. The stuff wasn't able to change it. Super annoying! They had to bring me into the room every time, and they didn't believe me and checked the room if it was someone else's.

Es geht hauptsächlich um die Mitarbeitern, sehr unfreundlich, hilflos und unrespectful Die Lage neben der Bahnhof aber ist sehr weit von den Strände und auch nicht im Stadtzentrum.

A guy that was in our dormitory brought a saw into the dormitory. The saw was sharp and definitely could have been used to kill someone. We left the hostel and booked a hotel because we did not feel safe. The reception clearly does not check for weapons.

The hostel is great located and the dorm was clean & convenient. However, replacing the guest kitchen by a restaurant sounds more like a hotel rather than a hostel… Besides taking away the "accessible/cheap" aspect of a hostel, it also takes away the ideal social space with other travelers. Maybe I'm not the target audience for this hostel, since families are predominant.

Be mindful despite having no way to make your own food they don’t allow you to eat anything other then their meals in the hostel because it’s a “restaurant”

Perfect for 2 nights but it sucked that the wifi quality was very low where it did not reach my room so I had to go downstairs in order to use it. I was on the 2nd floor so that was unfortunate and even when in the communal area the wifi still wasn’t that stable and kept disconnecting. Great place if it is just a place to sleep and keep your stuff while you explore the town.

The room was very nice, the beds, showers and so on. The staff was not so helpful and could be a bit rude (the ones I met of corse). Not so nice atmosphere, very stiff and not that cozy. You can't cook your meals or even bring takeaway to the hostel, I think that's one of the things that destroy the atmosphere.

This hostel is just okay in my opinion. It's not bad, it's fine... Staff are lovely, but the price for what it is is pretty steep. Yes, it is clean at least, but there is no kitchen, you cannot have your own snacks in the building, no real 'hostel' feeling. It's got a more corporate/hotel vibe. Of course, I knew this week booking but there wasn't much choice. Now I know the area better, I would've probably stayed in a better value hostel in Rotterdam and travelled in to the the Hague to visit.

Really tiny dorm, not great location and bad atmosphere.

The hotel staff accidentally checked in men in our FEMALE DORM!!! I was out all day and came back to the hostel, changing in the room, taking off my bra, not knowing there was a guy in the bathroom!! I was in my PJs in bed when he came out and even another guy came in! Turns out staff made a mistake, WTF?!? The receptionist then booked me into a 'private room' which was just an empty dorm (spooky!). Though check-in time was till 11pm, a girl moved in at 1am! That's scary! So much for 'private'..

There was a drunk alcoholic guy in my room who peed everywhere around the toilet seat, but besides that it was perfect! I wished the dorm had more light and fresh air though. Love the canal by the terrasse, and the cozy and social atmosphere in the lobby area.

Ottimo soggiorno a pochi passi dal centro e dalla stazione di Den Haag HS.

Excellent safe few minutes from Den Haag Holland spor train station, next to a canal spotlessly clean also a large conference ? Area within the hostel very up market The Hague is less travelled than Amsterdam but has everything Amsterdam has but cheaper, Scheviningen the Dutch coast resort is okay for a walk around the pier promenade etc

they need to provide shower gel at least, not everyone is carrying soap, sometimes you make unexpected decisions to stay somewhere, like it happened to me. there was no shampoo, not even soap in the shower, also ventilation could improve in the toilet. Everything else was great. I appreciated the elevators.

Great location for visiting Den Haag and an especially good base for travelling to other places such as Delft and Leiden. Nice breakfast too!

Located too far out of town

Wd really enjoyed our stay! Renting the bikes, storing our luggage and posing any and all questions never felt like a hassle or a problem. The staff was super friendly and our private room was very comfy.

Super endroit, bien agencé et pensé pour les voyageurs

Das Personal war super freundlich. Als ich als Female Solo Travelerin angekommen bin, hat das Personal am Check-In extra meine Buchung - ohne dass ich danach gefragt habe - gecheckt, welche Menschen sonst noch auf dem Zimmer sind. Da es ausschließlich Männer + ich gewesen wären, haben sie mich umgebucht - sehr aufmerksam. Das einzig Negative, dass die Tram alle fünf Minuten direkt vor der Tür herfährt bis nachts - gut für die Anbindung, allerdings hat mich das am Schlafen gehindert.

only problem i hab was with the wifi. when connecting it guarantees a fast internet connection, but it was really slow and constantly breaking contact

Très bonne auberge moderne et conviviale

Très bien, propre, calme, agréable. Personnel présent er dispo. Bémol : impossible de s apporter un repas même froid pour manger sur place... Extrêmement dommage pour un hostel... Du coup, peu de vie dans les espaces communs pourtant sympa.

More lockers for each bed would be better

Seule point négatif est que la cuisine a fermer a 20h00 alors que sur le web c'est écrit 22h. Je suis arrivé tard donc j'avais prévu manger la, j'ai du prévoir autre chose

A good choice for a great city

Clean and good location

Was a very good place to stay for one night. Close to the trainstation and centre in general. The room (4 bed male-only dorm) had its own toilet and shower, which were clean and and a personal locker (a personal lock is necessary to keep it secure). Overall, I would choose Stayokay again, if I decide to come back to The Hague.
