+ Good location
- I stayed at Zostel Jodhpur for one night and it was one of the worst hospitality experiences I’ve had, especially considering this is a well-known franchise. Right from the start, the reception staff was rude, arrogant, and completely unhelpful. I had driven a long distance and was exhausted when I arrived. Instead of assisting with check-in, I was forced to complete their “web check-in” on my own phone. I clearly told them I was tired and didn’t want to use my phone, but the staff refused to help—even though they easily could have completed it from their system. This shows how little they understand or care about guest comfort. Their policies are absurd: check-in after 12 PM and checkout at 10 AM. Despite this, guests are subjected to loud music till midnight because of their open outdoor dining area located right next to the rooms. This place is nowhere close to a peaceful or private hostel stay. The rooms were shabby, washrooms were smelly, and there was poor lighting throughout. For a room costing around ₹3000, this is unacceptable. At 7 AM, a staff member banged on my door and asked me to move my car because another guest wanted to take their vehicle out. This is pure harassment and reflects their poor parking and guest management. After a disturbed night, I politely requested just one extra hour to freshen up and take a shower. I travel frequently, and most hotels/hostels accommodate such requests when possible. Instead of being courteous, the reception staff spoke rudely, quoted policy again, and threatened to charge half-day if I didn’t vacate exactly at 10 AM. When I tried to discuss this further, the staff hung up the call on me. During checkout, there were no greetings, no courtesy, no professionalism—nothing you’d expect from a hospitality brand.
+ First time I found my stay at this zostel painfull , I booked stay for two night and payed almost 13k at this property , was facing lot of issue including staff behaviour to Facilities in the room as it was smelling, Non availability of cold water , and many more basic issues which is required if someone is booking the hotel or pvt room in zostel . I won't suggest anyone to book a pvt room Here if you are couple. Cafe was good and service provided by the cafe was also good.
- Behaviour Basic amenity not available Would have booked better hotel rather than this in this amount only
+ i had book this property via booking.com, but when I reached property they are saying kids not allowed. so request please mentioned it, these property only for 18 plus on the top of the website, because of no budy go for read the policy.
+ The outside is good
- No fan or ample light in the room, full noise of party happening till late night even after repeated requests. Staff is drunk in the night
- So I am an Architect from Udaipur and I had booked zostel for two days for a work visit in jodhpur precisely to visit furniture Factories for our upcoming hotel project in Udaipur. I have an Architect working with me who is from Jodhpur and was suppose to stay with me to finalise the furniture designs. Unfortunately when I reached Jodhpur zostel after a 5 hr drive from udaipur, the receptionist told me they don’t accept local ids. I tried to make her understand that I was from udaipur and the other person is from jodhpur. But she didn’t agree to it. Firstly I told her that they shouldn’t take bookings then if that’s the case because when I was booking the property it was nowhere mentioned that they won’t allow local I’d and even she tried to check my booking but she didn’t find any such condition herself. Secondly she started talking very rudely to me and slowly got aggressive with her tone. She had kept all the hospitality aside. I told her why is she getting so aggressive and she replies ‘thanks a lot’. Later she asked me to cancel the booking and I told her that it’s not possible since it says that my money will be cut from the card in case of cancellation and again she was adamant that that’s not possible while it was clearly mentioned in the cancellation description. She wasn’t able to handle the situation rather was getting ruder and ruder. Please check the cctv cameras if possible the way of her body language and tone and the way she was handling my phone too. Eventually I had to make another booking at 8:00 pm in the night with another hostel and there was no problem with them with local I’d. Eventually I had a very good stay at the other hostel but I am truly sad that how zostel staff treated me and how they have such poor policy even though one person is from outstation.
- I Booked a room at Zostel Jodhpur (Ratnanda) for my friend Arshdeep under his name. And we called them to inform the check-in time at 10:30 PM. When my friend was there, they denied check-in. I would like to mention Mr. Jabar Singh & Vikram who. didn't allow him to enter the Hotel. Arshdeep was carrying his physical ID proof and they asked him to send the ID proof over a Hotel's WhatsApp number. And his phone was dead in the Midnight. They refused the check-in, even though he was carrying his ID card physically My friend was standing outside the Zostel for more than 1 hour to get a ride and search for an alternate Accommodation. This is a ridiculous policy or behavior.
+ The reception staff is helpful, and they have two dogs on the property. WiFi is great.
- We stayed in a deluxe private room, but the experience was quite disappointing. The floor had stains, and there was even a handprint on the wall. The washroom felt extremely unclean, not because it wasn’t cleaned, but because of how old and worn out everything was. We requested the reception to have it cleaned again, and they promptly did so, but some things just can’t be fixed in a day, like stained floors, peeled paint, a rusted basin, and a broken toilet seat. Overall, it just didn’t feel clean or comfortable to stay in.
Kindly contact me on this number +919926841001 , need to discuss something about the stay
+ The property was nice but extremely badly maintained. They also have loud live music playing every night.
- We were in Jodhpur just for two days and the hostel staff wasted one day because the rusted bathroom fixtures broke. We stepped out one evening and came back to find loud noises coming from our room. A few of the neighbouring guests had also complained of water leakage sounds from our room. We entered to find that the pipe just burst and was flooding the bathroom. We couldn't use the bathroom all night and the day. We couldn't even leave the room till someone came and fixed it. And the hostel staff didn't want to take any initiative to get it fixed or give us a different room. After hounding them, they tried to give us a horrible room right at the entrance. Then after carrying out luggage up and down a few floors (with no help) and after putting our foot down they finally gave us a half decent private room. Horrible experience , bad maintenance, arrogant staff.
+ The staff wasn't helpful at all didn't provide early check in( the beds were empty all the time)

+ Was in a great location, had an amazing bar below which was attached to the hostel which was good value for money. The place was clean and spacious and good value for money. Would definitely stay again
+ The room was big and comfortable, and the bed was comfortable too. It was clean and the shower was hot. The pool and common area were very nice, and the staff were helpful in getting us a ride to our bus
- There was a lot of noise on our last evening to after past 1am, we think from an event hosted by the hostel and people from the hostel there. When we said it was past 1am, they didn’t quieten down or leave for another half hour.
+ Cafe
- Room asthetics

+ Property ambience was good. The guard was friendly. He helped us with the rented scooter, parking and directions.
- They didn’t help us with the luggage. They tried to give us a different room. AC was not cooling even at 16. Overall hospitality was just fine.

+ Best property in Jodhpur for stay. Had lot of fun here.
+ The room was spacious and the bed was big. The outdoor spaces were lovely. We were able to rent out a scooter last minute to see the old town.
- The room looked and felt more like a hospital room. Despite being a private room, it still felt like a basic hostel room, minus the sharing with other people. One of the pillows had mould on it (underneath the cover). The bathroom was not clean and appliances were rusty. Shower barely worked. The restaurant next door where breakfast was served was well designed and had good ambience, but the food was not that great and the waiting times were very long - we only had a day in Jodhpur and then a drive back to Jaipur so we were trying to make the most of that time.
