It's unreasonable that the scooter rental shop insists on holding my passport for four days, even when I offered alternative options like a deposit or another ID. This lack of flexibility is frustrating and suggests a business model that doesn’t prioritize customer convenience or security. The location is also inconvenient, adding to the wasted time. NB! I spotted bed bugs in several beds and when I told them they didn't take me seriously at all.. I got a new bed and then they let someone else sleep in the same bed without doing anything. No place to put your luggage, only against your bed, so pay close attention!

Despite informing them twice that I would be little late in arriving, I was made to wait almost 30mins during the time of check-in. There was some mistake from the staff in my room allocation as someone else was sleeping in my bed apparently! They moved me to the ac dorm though which was sort of compensating me for the trouble, which was thoughtful of them, considering. No hot water, and literally 0 water pressure. When we arrived my friend was told she wasn’t allowed into the room until 5pm because of a major clean? When these things were queried, we were made to feel like an inconvenience. A lot of people seem to be staying long term? So a weird vibe, and rooms/toilet as if people living there long/term. Far out of the centre, but I guess this is reflected in the price.

Sick little hostel with good facilities and great cocktails, the buffet on fridays is unreal 10/10. No AC dorm was horrible and my bed wasn’t made when I checked in. Not good value considering homestays available

Mixte room with more than 10 beds without curtains. Beds are very close to each others, you don’t have your private space. But nice place to meet people.

I loved this hostel! I was in the dorm without ac but because of the many fans i didn’t get hot at night. I loved the colourfulness of the hostel. It feels like a little jungle escape. The people are social but it’s no party hostel. Only downside is that it’s a bit far away from everything so you def will need to rent a scooter (possible at the hostel reception for cheap)

Schönes soziales Hostel, vor allem für Surfer. Gutes kostenloses Frühstück. Da es etwas abseits liegt, braucht man definitiv einen Roller.

It’s a great hostel! The pool area was great, the restaurant had good good and the staff was sooo kind and helpful!

Wundervolle Unterkunft, in der ich mich sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt habe. Man fühlt sich sehr sicher und die Leute hier sind super freundlich (insbesondere Hams und Arif 🧚🏻) Die Schlafsäle und Badezimmer sind sauber und insgesamt habe ich nichts auszusetzen. Sehr zu empfehlen :-)

Super nice hostel, cleanest hostel I ever stayed in!!! Rooms were very comfortable and the bed was amazing. Arief was the perfect host :)

Echt geweldig gehad hier, alleen maar verlengd. Aardig personeel, leuke sfeer en via hier een scooter huren is echt top geregeld. De kamers verschillen best van elkaar, dus als je van een beetje privacy houdt, zal ik kiezen voor de kamer met airco. Dan heb je namelijk wel gordijntjes en eigen badkamer.

Good food, kind and generous staff, AC bunk room was nice but VERY cold. You’ll want a scooter to get to the hostel, but you’ll want one anyways for Kuta so it’s not a problem.

Heerlijke week gehad in Pipes. Fijne mensen, heerlijk zwembad en goed koffietentje om te ontbijten of drankjes te doen. De sfeer is goed en de bedden zijn lekker! Het enige minpunt is dat het iets verder van het centrum is dus dat je wel echt een scooter moet huren.
