DONT BE DECEIVED BY HIGH RATINGS Hostel is on a dirty, loud & dangerous street w/ TWO strip clubs, & party clubs next door. YOU WILL NEVER SLEEP. Walls paper thin, you hear everything. Lockers do not work, and I only realized this when i lost cash. I spoke with the owner who claims he didnt know none of the lockers lock properly. He then canceled my reservation from the website and the others in my room who were all upset about having no safe place to store our valuables to prevent any of us from writing a negative review, which explains the high 9.9 review. I had to reach out to the website so I could post this review. Please avoid, and do not support owner abusing loophole.

After 34 countries visited I’ve been in many hostels and definitely this is one of worst I ever stayed ever. The owner is nice person but the facilities are the worst ever seen, this hostel is practically a old house with the old spare furniture grandma had on the house and with that became a “hostel”. the room has not ventilation (imagine the smell) there is barely 4 lockers in a room for 6 the other 2 bed has a wooden box like a shoe box and your lock won’t work I guarantee you.

This might have been a good hostel before, but now they’ve shot themselves in the foot by moving the common room to the basement to make room for more beds. Never felt natural going down there and it smelled like mold, so no one had anywhere to hang out and socialize. For a hostel without a kitchen or real common room, the price is way to high. Bad decision!

WOULD NOT recommend if you’re a light sleeper, although it’s nice enough hostel. Bedroom was so unnecessarily hot and the street is so loud - on the weekend (inc. Sunday night) so loud that u can still hear through earbuds. I guess it’s a good location if you like the vibe of the particular local bars, but for me they’re very intense and very touristy. The beds have no curtains as well so you feel pretty exposed. Nice staff.

It’s quite clean and safe. That’s for sure. You need to enter 4 codes to get into your room. The hostel feels a bit cramped, and the there are a lot of these signs scattered all over the hostel telling you about the rules, feels like of weird. The owners are nice, but it feels a bit like whoever is at the front desk is breathing down your neck. The atmosphere wasn’t the most social I’ve seen, but that could just be sample bias. Also I would probably not stay in the old town next time.

Nice enough hostel, staff allowed me to check in early and everything was neat and tidy. Not a great atmosphere for meeting people.

Very clean and good place - but super loud at night, the window didn't close completely so it was even louder. Not many people around that time of year so not very social at all, might be different during summer

Thank you for a great stay at Bedsy hostel! The dormitory was clean, comfortable and functional with big lockers, plugs, lights etc. Very quiet in the night! Bathrooms and showers were also modern and clean and they included a free towel and shampoo/soap which was very pleasant. Above all, the staff was very helpful giving loads of good recommendations for exploring Bucharest. They even offered me a late check out until 9pm the next day free of charge. The hostel hall may seem not that much big, but as soon as you enter both the bedroom and the common room you see its real size. The bedrooms are big and cozy, while the bed is comfortable. The common room is very spacious, with table games and colourful carpets. You can also watch the TV or the night life outside. The owners are very friendly: they make you feel like home and they help you socialize with weekly activities to do in the city! Would totally recommend and come back here again

Overall: - Very nice hostel and friendly staff. Can be improved: - I would add breakfast inclusive option - I would add curtains to the bunk beds, it is a small investment but really good for privacy.

Carmen is just the best and I felt safe and comfortable staying there !

Wonderful and welcoming staff!! It can get a little loud at night but the beds are clean and comfortable. My friend left her watch and the team noticed and reached out before she even realized it was missing. Def would recommend!

Absolutely great hostel , All the staff members are accommodating and kind , best beds Iv slept on in any hostel Iv been to - they are very comfy , its right in the middle of old town aswell ! I felt very safe and if I come back I will be staying here again, 100%

The staff were very eager to help and were very welcoming. Location is really at the center of the Old Town and party which means it may be a little loud (and smell like grilled meats) at night especially if you open the windows for air. We were offered ear plugs which helped ease the noise.

The host were incredible and super fun, they were keen to listen and provide feedback about the city. Their kindness, the position and the cleanliness of the hostel are key features that will ensured a future booking here. Definitely recommend it!

The staff really make this place stand out. It was such a warm welcome. The staff helped me plan out the best things to do and what to see in the city! They really care about helping you have a great trip.

Real good hostel with excellent staff(most of the time you could find the owner itself in the reception, who is a excellent and passionate person always ready to listen to you to make your stay best). The hostel is at the edge of old town, still the rooms are quiet and calm. And also they have a nice community hall as well
