Booked 4 nights, left this horrible place after just 1. Stupidity for an accommodation to have no AC in Cádiz heat – fan just blows hot dry air. Weird vibe with 50+ Spanish singles who seem to live there. Staff barely speak English. Security is a joke: unmanned at night, no one locks doors, just a front door code. Felt unwelcome in an uncomfortable atmosphere. Only plus is location. Not for backpackers – this place should change its name. Gave 1 star on everything but site shows 2.
Unfortunately I can't give anything positive about the hostel because when I arrived they couldn't find my booking so I had to find immediate accommodation else where. so I asked if it does show up will you cancel so I don't get charged. 3 days later the full amount got taken out of my account. I have emailed and tried calling several times with no response. I could not check in but paid full price for 2 nights. How does this happen?? Please respond and amend this!

L’établissement est plutôt bien placé mais est vieux… Je ne sais pas si c’est la raison pour laquelle il y a des insectes comme des cafards ou des punaises de lit mais quoiqu’il en soit une camarade de chambre a été piquée par l’un d’eux et moi aussi… Je pense que l’établissement mérite un bon coup de rénovation et de désinfection ! En dehors de ça, le personnel est très agréable.
The establishment is rather well placed but is old... I don't know if that is the reason why there are insects like cockroaches or bed bugs but whatever it is a roommate was bitten by one of them and so was I... I think the establishment deserves a good renovation and disinfection!
It was okay, but if you want a rather good Hostel I don't recommend.
Really bad Wifi connection and poor data signal. Really small and kind of dirty room. Nice staff and good location.
I did not enjoy my stay here to the point where I went home a day early. My bunk didn’t have an outlet, the place was really run down and dirty, and while people were nice enough, it just really didn’t feel safe. I wouldn’t stay here again, I didn’t enjoy it.
El baño suele estar sucio y mojado casi siempre, hay problemas con el agua caliente, el agua sale fria o un poco tibia, pero no caliente. La atención en mostrador es pésima y displicente.
The bathroom is usually dirty and wet almost always, there are problems with the hot water, the water comes out cold or a little warm, but not hot.
Hostel looks nice but it doesn’t have any airconditioning which makes it impossible to stay there during summer
Die Lage war zwar super, aber das Hostel war überhaupt nicht sauber. Die Toiletten war dreckig. Zwei Türen von der Toilette konnte man gar nicht abschließen und die dritte Tür hat immer geklemmt, sodass man manchmal nicht raus gekommen ist aus der Toilette.
The location was great, but the hostel was not clean at all.The toilets were dirty.Two doors of the toilet could not be locked and the third door was always clogged, so sometimes you could not get out of the toilet.

J'ai eu bcp de chance d'être seul dans un dortoir de 6 les 3 nuits que j'ai passées à l'hostel. Mais sans doute ke plus gros atout de cet hostel, outre son emplacement idéal dans le centre de Cadiz, est sa cuisine superbement équipée (je n'ai vu cela que dans VRAIMENT très peu d'hostels !)
I was lucky enough to be alone in a 6 bedroom dorm room for the 3 nights I spent at the hostel. but without a doubt the biggest asset of this hostel, besides its ideal location in the center of Cadiz, is its superbly equipped kitchen (I have only seen this in VERY few hostels !)
We had an amazing time at this hostel! The rooftop area was our favorite part, we spent lots of time playing games and hanging out up there. We appreciated the spacious bathrooms, but the door to our room was rarely locked.

This is definitely a basic hostel. People were nice but there was a bit of a lack of atmosphere. Lockers were a nice size. Shower situation didn’t feel very private - you had to get changed just in the communal bathroom, hoping that no one would come in/leave the door open. Could do with a bit of a spruce up in general, but does the job

The staff were so so nice, I actually arrived much later than I anticipated and the staff stayed late to check me in and help me find a car park (they finish late already and stayed past midnight) so I really appreciated that

I stayed in a ten-person room with nine of my friends, and it was awesome. We each had a privacy curtain for our bed and a spacious locker to store our stuff. We could also store things in lockers in the main office to explore town after checking out of the room. The staff were incredibly nice and accommodating of our large group. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. However, some of the showers in the women's bathroom weren't very functional, with unattached shower heads that had to be handheld.

Estaba todo muy limpio y las chicas de recepción eran muy amables. No le doy el 10 porque la terraza esta infravalorada. Podrían hacer algo mucho mejor en ella.
Everything was very clean and the girls at the reception were very friendly. i don't give him the 10 because the terrace is underrated. they could make something much better in it.

So enjoyable! Very welcoming réceptionist. Been to "Summer" five years ago already. There's something instantly loveable 'bout it. The kinda reclusive situation in the old town may bé. Stayed in a room downstairs this time- kitchen with clean spaceous fridge, living-room with books and world map, bathroom- all right in front of my room. You get a key for your cupboard- all easy. Feels like staying in an apartement. Love the roof terrace. Very easygoing crew. I'd sleep with you (again) ;D .
