Amazing people and place to stay! Everyone is friendly and place stays clean, great location too. Esperanza quickly became my favorite hostel in Costa Rica!

Charlie's place was great, nice utensils in the kitchen , kept clean. Close to everything. No bank close by so be prepared. Lena the host was very helpful as well. Great surfing. Debbie

Esperanza is the perfect hostel to stay at in Pavones. It is super close to the surf, restaurants, and the center. Charlie and the volunteer Lena are amazing hosts and super helpful with whatever you need. The kitchen is well equipped, the showers are hot, and the wifi fast enough to work remotely. Overall had an amzing time at Esperanza and would recommend it to everyone planning to visit Pavones.

Definitely one of the best hostels in Costa Rica! Super clean, very new and a lovely hostel dog and super nice owner. I will come back for sure! :-)

Great little gem in Pavones. Very comfortable bed, awesome kitchen. Everything it pretty new. Owner is great and there's a very nice vibe in the place. Would highly recommend

Located perfectly in the center of town, quick walk to the supermarket, restuarants and the wave. The kitchen has amazing amenities and all really new. Beds are really comfortable and lots of fans available. The owner and staff were very helpful in every situation. Definitely the most social place to stay at in Pavones! Recommend!

Amazing stay at Charlies place, great atmosphere, a place where people come to hangout just because of the awesome vibes. Great location to stay for surfers or if you just want a nice place to stay during your visit. Buses go daily and is just a stone throw away from the hostel. Highly recommend!

The best hostel in Pavones. Will return in the future. Some of the best memories of the whole trip.
