Monkey Mind Hostel Margao

it was a decent stay here . i reached Madgaon railway station at 3 am in the morning and i walked 25 mins to reach the hostel. The receptionist was dutiful and friendly and checked me in after being woken up. The next day the staff was very kind enough to allow me to sleep few hours more after the check out time. They have breakfast options too, if you order beforehand. the bus station is a few minutes bus ride from the bus stand which is 5 mins walking distance from the hostel.

This is a basic hostel that is great if you need a place to sleep for the night on your way through Goa. It’s a 20 min walk from a train station and 15 min bus ride from the main bus station. Sheets were clean, bed was comfortable, two bathrooms were ok but shared for all dorms.

Great place to stay, staff was very helpful and the vibe was great, its more of a transit hotel as its in the city, but it has a very accessible location that is walking distance from the railway station. Staff helps to arrange bikes at the property itself and many places around to see.

A good Property, however needs to be looked in terms of staffs and cleanliness

The place does not look conducive for a couple. If you are a male bachelor, it should be fine.

Ideal if you are using Madgoan station. Plenty of communal areas, terraces, and a suitable kitchen. Well worth the money

It provides the most basic facilities. The hostel doesn't have an attached washroom. it's common for all. It doesn't have Ac.The overstay was good but if you want facilities, it's not for you.

Staff that doesn’t speak English and doesn’t want to communicate at all, bad hygiene, lack of respect towards travelers and guests…apart from the price I couldn’t find a lot of positive aspects about this place. Starting to clean in a very loud manner at 6:30 in the morning without even trying to keeping it down it’s just one very annoying aspect of this place. The hostel is good value for money, and is a good place to be if you're in Madgaon. Nothing fancy, but it gets the basics right. The people were friendly.
