Beautiful location in the mountains, close to everything in the town of Nordegg. Comfortable rooms and mattresses! Loved the old school wooden chairs in the dining area. Would highly recommend and will be going back as well!

The tea bags that they provide here is great!!I love the fire stove and atmosphere inside the house,I can really relax and enjoy talking or eating dinner with new friends here!Everyone should come here!!

Really great location. The women who runs/takes care of the place is amazing. Everything is clean. Love the firepit outside. Really good value for the cheap price. Went on the shoulder season and had a room all to myself. There's not much insulation or soundproofing so bring ear plugs. And for the love of God people, turn your phone on silent! Lol buzzing from other people's phones all night. Love the place overall and will be back. Hopefully the sauna will be fixed by then!

Staff is friendly and helpful. The hostel was pretty full and still lots of space to find your own corner and read if you wanted. Large kitchen and the staff kept everyone mindful of the quiet hours. Definitely recommend for a family or solo trip. Will be back. Best advice I received many years ago was while travelling, be it hostel, hotel or whatever bring a face mask and earplugs so you can enjoy your stay on your own terms.

A very comfortable environment amidst well stocked and clean facilities. Sue was an excellent host offering helpfully hints and stimulating good conversation!

Loud! If you want to sleep- this is not for you. Kids running and slamming doors. I slept in my car and didn’t go back for my second night. Awful experience

Great space. Nice and cozy shared living room, kitchen is very well stocked, rooms and blankets are very warm. The location is great, being so close to the trails in Nordegg and Abraham Lake. The beds were pretty comfortable, just got a bit hot at night since the blankets provided are VERY warm! I looked at the place via Google maps for a better view and it shows a hot tub. There is no hot tub any longer. Also note the sauna is in a different building from the main house.

ein uriges Hostel ganz im kanadischen Stil mitten im Wald. Ich hatte einen tollen Aufenthalt dort mit Lagerfeuer-Romantik, netter kanadischer Gemeinschaft und angenehmer Bettruhe. es gibt sogar eine Sauna und einen Kamin mit gemütlichem Aufenthaltsraum. würde bloss bei Anmeldung darum bitten, dass man nicht ins 5.Bett direkt unter der Zimmer-Decke kommt... (es gibt auf einer Seite 2er stockbett ,auf anderer Seite 3er Stockbett) sonst super Hostel!
