Sweed Dee Seaview Hostel

The hostel was the most expensive and worst I have stayed in southeast asia. There was a bed bug infestation, the whole area reeks of sewage and the room photos are misleading.

stay at this hostel if you HATE yourself and want to see what hell is like before you die. genuinely the worst hostel i’ve ever experienced the pics were misleading. they have a whole other section in the back with beds but it is so dirty, hot and cramped. bathrooms were nasty too. they also scammed me out of 200 baht. when i got there they made me give them my passport and when i left they refused to give me back my passport unless i paid them 200 baht which made zero sense.

Terrible hostel! We planned three nights but left after one sleepless night. Room and bathroom were full of mold what smelled awful, we both had headaches the next day. The bathroom had broken tiles and dirty water. We even had bedbugs. The receptionist didn’t care. Outside: mosquitoes and sewage smell. Beach noise kept us up until 4 a.m. AC was freezing, hardly any storage. They provided bananas and water but that didn‘t make things better. Way too expensive — absolutely not recommended.

Worst stay in Thailand so far. Bugs in the bed, was bitten so much, ants and mould in the showers, bad smell, loud music til 4am, guests coming in at 2am turning the main lights on & talking. No lockers for bags, the view is great but can’t sit out there because of ants & other little creatures. There are better hostels that are closer to the town & the same price.

Das Personal war total freundlich. Ansonsten ist das Preisleistungsverhältnis aber gar nicht gegeben!!! Total runtergekommen und man hat überhaupt kein Platz.

The hostel I saw pictures of on this app was booked when I arrived, so they put me up in their location down the road.. which was nothing like what I saw online. There was barely any space in the dorms.. and I’ve stayed in hostels in Japan before. Was not a fan of the shower situation. One of the three stalls would quickly overflow with water. You literally have to shower right next to a toilet. Would not really recommend staying here.

I'm not picky with Hostels, but when you're paying a premium just because you're on Phi Phi there should be some standard, beds were fine but some of my friends had bed bugs. 3 bathrooms for 20+ people is not enough and they were gross, the shower is pretty much on top of the toilet so the entire floor just gets wet and the chance the toilet flushes is 50/50. Aircon was good and location wasn't terrible but other facilities need a massive upgrade.

The water stopped running multiple times while I was showering and when my friend showered the water changed color to brown and it started to smell badly. I would rather now shower then shower here again.

this place was pretty good only things was bed bugs! Didn’t see many but did see them. Was overall okay free breakkie is great but just not the bugs in the bed! It was still really clean and nice space for the price :)

Showers are a bit uncomfortable and get water all over the bathroom. Great view of the beach during the day but can get really loud at night with some of the bars on the island. Also thought it was a bit weird to have some of the staff members just sitting on their phones in our room while we were staying there. Not a very social space and didn’t meet or hangout with anyone from my hostel for the few days I was there. Better to meet people through days trips or the big island group chat instea...

Auberge situé en « extérieur » du centre avec une vue qui donne sur toute la baie. On entend quand même pas mal la musique de partout

Super hostel, les hôtesses étaient très accueillantes et serviables ! J’ai passé un super moment je recommande vivement ☺️

Nice place with nice staff and people, but a few bed bugs unfortunately

the staff was so friendly and it had a really nice view. the beds were comfy and pretty quiet even though still close to everything. they changed the sheets everyday which i loved and helped book tours. ill be coming back for sure!

Perfect stay!

Delightful staff for an out of the way quiet hostel. Another guest stole my glasses here, which sucks, but the staff helped me search for them. Location is far from other places on Phi Phi, but Phi Phi is so small its still only a ten minute walk to the party areas or beaches.

It was clean, the staff were helpful, and the beds were comfortable and private. They should reinvest to continue to improve with key shortcomings maybe being the plug quality which was quite low, and the lockers could hardly fit a bag let alone a big hiking bag.

I may have got unlucky with who else was staying, but there were multiple lads groups who were very loud in the dorm at night - not just doors etc, but shouting and running around the dorm, this went on from 2-5, then at about 6 one of the boys was sick all morning, and because the loos are in the same room as the 21 beds, everyone could hear that too. Ended up getting about an hours sleep. I was supposed to stay for 2 nights but left for the second, Hostel did nothing about it either, no refund

Une auberge très agréable, pas chère avec un personnel très sympathique et un petit coin restauration disponible. Néanmoins, c’est un peu loin du centre et bruyant.

Super quiet hostel up on the hill away from the loud clubs. not very social and staff were not the most helpful compared to other stays. Bed was super comfy, but only three showers/toilets!!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND this hostel is amazing. i can’t wait to return

loved it, beds sadly didn’t have any small lights and there was only a big or no light but otherwise i loved this hostel and would recommend it to everyone
