+ there is a huge gap between how the property and the room looks in the website and in reality.

+ Room was large and clean.

- Getting your bags into the room up a flight of stairs was not fun. Then on exit the elevator wasn’t working so I had to walk down both my suitcases. Area was in the bad part of town. Lots of beggars, graffiti, cigarette butts everywhere. Room looked over into another guest house and over a street with garbage bins and dug addicts.

- Main reason for the not so great rating: AC did not work properly (switched on, but was only running at very low level, remote control did not have any impact) , as a result I could not sleep at all

+ We really enjoyed our time at Serendipity. The apartment was clean and spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They had a little space to enjoy a coffee.

- The location is convenient to the train stations. That said, I personally didn’t feel very safe at night (not the hotels problem - but something to consider if you are travelling). There are groups of people hanging out nearby and quite a few drunk people lying on benches.

- If your neighbors are very noisy (ours were), it can be very disturbing because the facilty is like a flat with a few rooms. It was very difficult to adjust the water temperature in the shower ( either too cold or too hot). The inside of the building that the facilty is located in is very dirty and old and seems scary at night. The elevator is so small it is difficult to get in with even a carry on.

- Getting in & out ! Location is a grubby building, tiny lift that needs 10c to work, plus stairs.....not good for heavy suitcases. Too many keys & codes to get in

+ Lots of space, a unique location, great bathroom, balcony view. Excellent decor, we were met by a very friendly staff member with excellent food suggestions. Coffee pod machine available

- maybe the stairs, but we knew there would be stairs. Outside in the square there was some ‘riff raff’ but we felt quite safe

- Die Piazza Garibaldi hat eben die Atmosphäre eines Bahnhofsviertels, vorsicht Taschendiebe, insb. in den Seitengassen! Dennoch ideal für Leute, die mit dem Alibus oder Zug anreisen.

- Lift was awkward with luggage. Noisy outside with people and street cleaning.

+ Alessandra was pleasant and helpful at check-in as well she messaged me with a list of activities for New Years Eve in Naples. She responded quickly to any questions I had via What's Apps. The lobby was nicely decorated with a Christmas tree, a coffee machine was available and tables to sit if you brought take-out. No breakfast was offered. The room was huge but minimal decorations so not much personality. Bed was comfortable and bathroom facilities were great. Close walk to the Naples central train station & metro station which was convenient. We felt safe enough there

- No real concerns as our needs were met. I thought it was a bit overpriced - maybe b/c it was New Years Eve?

- The property is on the second floor, so you need to either use the elevator or take the stairs, I found the elevator to be a bit small for me and my luggage, so I did some workout to the it up the stairs, not the end of the world, but something to note.

+ Staff were excellent, like aboutique hotel,our train from Bari arrived at 13.00 we were able to leave our bag's no hassle. We had one night in Naploli and a late flight the next day, we left our bag's again and collected them at 18.00, airport bus and Naploli Centrale is C. 200 metres, great location. The room was huge, spotlessly clean and comfortable in a beautiful building. City Centre location relatively quiet and spacious.

+ Sehr modern und schlicht eingerichtet, aber an alles gedacht. Es gibt sogar eine gratis Zahnbürste sowie gratis Kaffee.

- Der Garibaldi Platz ist sehr belebt und nicht die schönste Ecke von Neapel, aber für eine Zwischenübernachtung zum Flughafen verkehrstechnisch perfekt.

+ Beautiful room with view of Vesuvius. Close to the station and the centre. Lots of advice and information which was so helpful.
