Mellow Fellow Hostel

One of the worst experiences I have ever had. Everything is bad about this hostel except the location. Damn bad service, you won't find anyone to help or service you, hygiene or cleanliness is terrible, the room sucked with smoke. Should shut their shops.

Location is the best, staff was also good, however I had to explain them, that I had paid some amount while booking to hostelworld and only a part needs to be paid.

- Dorm rooms are spacious but there are many hotels nearby where you can get private room for almost the same price as their dorm room - The electricity went out for several days - The room isn't locked, no one's at the front desk, so anyone could come in from the street and enter the room - Staff was often unresponsive, unavailable, and when available couldn't answer questions - I didn't see much of a social atmosphere, probably due to electricity issues - The other travelers were friendly

Spent 6 nights at Mellow Fellow Hostel and loved every bit of it! Met amazing people, made new friends, and enjoyed a super social atmosphere. Sonam is a fantastic host very friendly and fun. The karaoke nights were absolutely epic. Highly recommend this hostel if you’re looking for good vibes and great company!

this hostel was one of the worst hostel I have ever been evrything is so bad they just need extra money they charged me over what was the bill bed was so so bad bathroom was bad and even staff is not good atmosphere sucks

I had a great time staying at Mellow Fellow!!! The dorms are spacious and so clean, beds are really comfortable. The location is so good, directly on MG marg so you are close to everything. Staff are lovely - especially Sonam he was super welcoming!!

Private room was not well cleaned, coke bottle and dust under the bed between other things. The bed and the sheets in itself were ok. Location in the center is good to go around but the bar/restaurant upstairs had music/karaoke the night we were there, so for us until 11pm there was no calm. After that we had a good night of sleep. We put the geyser on directly when we arrived, but when we wanted to take a shower there was no hot water. I know that in the dorms there was some hot water though.

The people and the host here are so delightful. They treat you like their own family. Must visit if you are coming to gangtok

It’s a nice place to stay as an solo travel or with friends, at mg road . Staff is helpful and there were many new people I came across in the common area of the hostel .

A great place to stay in the heart of MG Road, everything is within hand's reach. Special mention to Mr Manager (Sandy) a guy who is always there to help you out.

Great hostel experience — super helpful staff, clean rooms, and awesome common area/lounge. Really great location too right in MG marg.
