Las habitaciones no tienen llave, en mi habitación habia aire acondicionado, pero no puedes manipularlo, lo prenden y apaga el personal, la temperatura la definen ellos. This place is disgusting, stay as far away as possible.

We stayed twice at this hostel with different experiences. Our first stay was 2 nights in a private room – more expensive, but very comfortable. Because of the great location and beautiful historic, we returned. This time we stayed in a dorm, which was disappointing: freezing AC, no privacy curtains, and no protection from the fan on the top bunk. Worst of all, the water stopped working (no shower, no toilet flushing), which became really disgusting. Paying full price for this is not acceptabl...

I reserved a stay from 10/22-10/23. I did so at 10/22 around 2 am and chose the earliest possible day. However, I needed it from 10/21 to 10/22. Upon arrival, he refuses to change my reservation in any capacity. He even denied my attempt to add a night and pay double. He said there were rooms available for walkins so he clearly did not want to assist me. I believe he discriminated me either for being a brown woman or appearing like a tough lesbian due to my short hair and some facial piercings.

Hostel number 31 for this trip & the worst hostel I’ve ever stayed in. The staff are so incredibly rude and made me feel so unwelcome. You must sit on the sofas with your feet on the floor? We got shouted at and a staff member clapped in our face at 6am because I was sat crossed legged on the sofa. The dorm rooms are loud and hot and the large room has no blinds and 0 privacy. The staff do not look at you when asking for help or any advice - they answer as bluntly as possible (all staff)

First night there was a huge water leak on the ceiling, we woke up with paint and plasterboard falling on the beds next to us. In itself, that's not really the problem, it can happen. What was more worrying was that the floor was completely flooded with water, with the electric cables drowned in it. Despite several warnings, they left travellers with this situation all morning. We asked to change rooms to be safer and were told to pay the supplement. Result: we just succeeded in changing beds..

This was one of the most misleading hostels I have ever stayed at, the staff was unfriendly, the room was incredibly messy and extremely hot. Do not reccommend this at all

Stayed in the big dorm, felt more like a war time hospital ward

The location is fantastic but the kitchen is disgusting, there were cockroaches in the rooms and half of the toilets don't flush. They tell you at check in that you are not allowed to lay down on the couches but they later tell you that they are watching on the cameras and you need to have both feet on the ground at all times. There is also an incredibly loud church service shouted and sobbed into a microphone next door every weeknight from 7 until 10. We had 2 lockers for 6 beds.

I only booked this hostel because the Selina hostel cancelled my reservation. The only good thing about this place is that it is in the best location which is Casco Viejo. There is 0 social atmosphere at this place and it is more of a hotel. This place attracts lots of old people and was hard to connect with fellow travellers. This is The most underwhelming hostel experience I’ve ever had. Avoid at all costs if you can. I wish there was a better hostel in Casco viejo to choose from

Amazing common area, large clean kitchen, great a/c. Coffee available. Nice balconies to view the street below.

Die Luft in 12er Dorn war nicht besonders gut

Convenient location. Helpful and pleasant staff. Looks nice from outside and inside. A nice well-kept building among both nice hotels and not-so-nice wrecks. Groceries, good restaurants, and waterfront within a few blocks. Toilets and showers not great, but ok. Bunk beds in hostel section not great, but ok. Value is good. (Though the hostel bunks are going away in April 2026 in favor of private rooms.) We liked it enough we are returning to Magnolia Inn on our way back to the airport.

War gut! Die Lage direkt in Casco Viejo ist sehr gut und sicher. Die Toiletten hätten häufiger mal geputzt werden können

not the most social place but definetly an insanely beautiful and stunning hostel with a great kitchen

Sehr schönes Hostel im Casco Viejo. Die kostenlose Tour durch die Altstadt mit Jordi ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Good spot, nice staff but there was no communal vibe, and the showers were sooo awful, really gross, and I’m not a picky person, I’m used to hostel showers..

The shared bedroom doesn’t have curtains in all windows so at 7am there’s a lot of light in the room. Other than that really good!!

Reception staff needs training on 2 things: 1: understand the backpacking/Hostel culture. ⚠example: Reception girl goes to social room to tell people to take their feet off the couch 2: friendlier attitude I can tell they’re not used to backpacking environment This morning during the checkout, the reception guy was annoyed that I didn’t have my paper card for $2 deposit for towel Return Instead of asking how was the stay But I give credit to only 1guy works NightShift. Hostel really clean and in really good position. The staff is really nice but I bit rigid with the rules as they consider them to be an hotel as well. It's not possible to sleep on the couches if wanna rest waiting for the check in. The A/C is available only from 6.00pm and if you wish to rest during the day might be really hot with no chances to get A/C. The main things like cleanliness, position and staff were very good (beside this rigid rules), but we should have A/C anything we need.

Super bien placé au sein du Casco Viejo dans un superbe bâtiment ! Très propre et cuisine bien équipée ! Très calme mais pas très propice pour rencontrer d'autres personnes

Clean, AC, not very social but you can still meet people!

Super great location, great facilities, great balconies, just 0 social vibe. The room was set at 17 which is wild (I was using my towel as a blanket). Overall would stay again.

Top notch facilities, hot and cold shower, spacious common area, great kitchen and comfy beds. Right at the center of casco viejo, amazing.. They have some space to keep my bicycle too.

This hostel is in the heart of the old town area and just beautiful in an old colonial style hotel there's plenty to do around Fair lots of restaurants and shops and access to free museums and the causeway area just a wonderful place to stay lots of good gifts from all over the world
