Entrée escaliers de rue très sales. Casseroles et poêles inutilisables, rouillées, fonds abîmés et cancérigènes. Etat général dégradé dans les parties communes, meubles abîmés, peintures écaillees partout. Chambre mixte de 10 M2; on était 6 personnes, côté rue,. très bruyant le vendredi soir avec le bar qui fait l'angle. Heureusement la jeune femme de ménage passe tous les matins. Old, run down, dark, depressing hostel with peeling paint, mold and filthy carpets, steep stairs, tiny, cramped, hot bedrooms with little ventilation, uncomfortable mattresses and pillows, faded linen. No staff at reception, no housekeeping, reception and laundry rooms piled high with dirty laundry, nonexistent management. Worst hostel ever. Stay away.

No entiendo como una plataforma como hotelworld ofrece este tipo de alojamientos y a esos precios, el peor hostel donde me he alojado. Y encima a un coste elevado.

only met a staff member by chance as i was trying to get in otherwise you can stay the whole time without speaking to anyone. not a very smooth way of paying final payment (involves a bank transfer then screenshotting confirmation and emailing to get your key, bit of a faff if in a rush) the pod rooms are really comfy and beds are clean but way too small a room for 8 of them and one shared bathroom which has seen better days great for one night but probably would struggle for longer

Clean room good shower. Location is beautiful backing right onto the seafront and the communal areas were good. Quite pricy for a hostel and paying the money could come across sketchy being a bank transfer but overall decent.

The dorm conditions were not what I expected from a typical traveller hostel. The room felt very crowded, with limited space due to bulk luggage, it seemed that some residents were staying long-term rather than short-term travellers. This created a different atmosphere than expected and made the space feel uncomfortable. Bedsheets were also worn, overall cleanliness could be improved. You'd better manage room capacity and clarify if dorms are used for long-term stays for new guest.

Eher ein kleines familiäres Hostel, man kommt schnell mit anderen Reisenden in Kontakt, wenn man das denn will. Ich war in einem 6 Bett, jedes Bett war in eiber art Kapsel, was etwas Privats Sphäre gab. Im Keller gab es eine Art gemeinschafts Raum mit Sofas und Klapptischen, spartanisch aber gemütlich. Würde Wiederkommen!.

L'ambiance était très spéciale. La réception n'était jamais ouverte parce que le gérant était en vacances ?? J'ai fait près de 10 hostels et je n'ai jamais vu ça... La propreté de la cuisine laisse à désirer: gros amas de calcaire dans la bouilloire, pas de couvercle sur la poubelle, poêles et casseroles dans un état doutable. La chambre était correcte et la salle de bain aussi. Heureusement, j'ai rencontré de chouettes personnes durant mon séjour. En conclusion, cela fait l'aff...

Overall, not great, but not terrible either. The self check in service was a new experience, but left me feeling somewhat cold, as it felt like there was no staff on the premises to help you out if you needed it. The building and rooms themselves also smelled pretty old/musty. The Pods were a nice touch, but my underbed locker was broken. Location was great though.

Had a great time and most people loved to chill and talk in the kitchen and common area

The "pods" arrangememnt works really well - it really feels like your own space. I do question whether it is legal to put 8 people into such a small room - and there certainly wasn't enough space given that most people had large bags that couldn't fit into the storage space provided so basically took up the floor space. I also thought that one toilet and sink for 8 people was inadequate. The worst thing was that the cold tap in the room didn't work at all!

Clean room and bathroom. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. We didn't see any member of the staff (I think so at least), but it's kinda intended. Arrival instructions were clear. Good location, with the sea front just down the street. The wifi reception was poor in the bedroom but good in the lounge room downstairs.

Need more cleaning The carpet should be changed, bad smell

Had a really nice stay here! Staff was very nice and helpful, could’ve been a bit cleaner, but as there are carpeted floors it’s hard to get rid of all dirt.

No towels!!!!

This hostel has self check in so check your email before you arrive there!! I really liked it here and i was really happy with everything. Staff was really nice and helpful and i got to store my luggage in the room after checkout for no extra charge. Which is adaquate since i still think it’s a little overpriced. I stayed in London with the same facilities and paid less.

excellent location in the centre of town and near the pier, mostly people staying here long term so the vibe is pretty quiet, but a nice place to stay for a couple of nights

Decent location, walkable from the train station and very close to the pier and pavilion. Check in is complicated if, like me, you don't spend every waking hour glued to a cellphone. Spent 10 minutes ringing the doorbell until someone walked past and saw me there (another guest had already walked by and ignored me). An email was sent giving me details of how to get in but I am not constantly checking them. After that was sorted it was ok.

Beds are clean and okay. Kitchen is dirty most of the time. Rooms and kitchen are very smell and rough.

Love those pods!! So cozy and the curtains gave much privacy! Clean, prime location (literally 2 minutes from the pier!) and shower was powerful and hot. Would definitely come back again :))

I stayed at Happy Brighton last summer and I’m back this time visiting some friends. Really like the privacy of pods. Rooms are clean and the best part is the living room and kitchen area. I work remotely so I am able to use this area to do some online work. Highly recommended and would definitely return!
