The Entaneer Poshtel (No Bunk Bed)

Les draps étaient tachés, & avaient une odeur bizarres. Pas mal de moisissures dans la salle de bains. Pour un établissement dont la chambre se rapproche du prix d'un hôtel, ce n'est pas normal. J'ai fais la réflexion au réceptionniste. Résultat ? J'ai passé 3jours sans ménage, ni même changement de draps. On a l'impression que le personnel est sous l'emprise d'un gérant tyrannique. Franchement à fuir.

Das Personal ist super nett und die Gemeinschaftsbereiche sind auch ganz cool, obwohl man den Außenbereich noch etwas schöner gestalten könnte. Außerdem haben wir von anderen Gästen gehört, dass die Dorms toll sein sollen. Die Private Rooms waren leider gar nicht schön, im Erdgeschoss ohne Fenster und sehr feucht/muffig. Im Bad waren Schimmelflecken und es gab keine Duschabtrennung. Man bezahlt mehr als für ein Hotelzimmer, hat aber keine der Annehmlichkeiten wie Fernseher, Kühlschrank...

Bathroom were disgusting and smelt AWFUL.

Women who owns hostel is constantly trying to make money off you by trying to get you to join tours and events. She’s a grafter I’ll give her that. 1k baht deposit. 100 baht if you crack or break a plate/mug. Massive terms and conditions (2 full pages you must read). They even check the room right before you get your deposit back to see. couldn’t get hot water in the shower. The outdoor area doesn’t get any sunshine and the only place to sit outside is the smoking area.

One of worst ever hostel experiences. Facilities nice enough but the staff make it so unwelcoming I felt so uncomfortable here. I showed up sick and sweaty they wouldn’t let me in the room to even put down a bag without $1000 baht “key charge”. They also didn’t refund me the full $1000 due to ants in my room. Vibe is not very social lots of people on computer & keep to themself. Noticed all over the walls with rules and fines! It felt like prison. Very hated the whole experience.

doesn’t look like the photos at all. the bedrooms were fine, tiny locker so make sure you have a lock for your bag. bathrooms were dirty, had bugs on my bed when i first got there, asked them to change it and then walked in on the house keeper just spraying bug spray..sooo far away from anything, need to use grabs or walk half hour. wouldn’t stay again.

An sich ok, jedoch sind die Gebühren bzw. Strafen dort sehr hoch. Sprich keinen unerlaubten Besuch selbst wenn man ein Einzelzimmer hat und auch für weitere Vergehen kommen einiges an Kosten auf euch zu, wie zb bei Flecken auf der Bettdecke oder Ähnliches.

Hostel has so much potential but appears to have been hit hard by COVID as my room was covered in black mold - walls and sheets - and it smelled like it too. Walls were also very thin. The staff were nice but main area was pretty quiet at night.

Better value single-room accommodation available in Chiang Mai.

It head everything you wished an hostel has except for the vibe. But maybe it’s the week I wa there, it’s the travelers who create it. Shoutout to the AMAZING TEAM, and to the beds which are soooo nice

I loved my stay here! Everyone was so friendly, especially the two very sweet dogs who are at the hostel. The location is a 5 minute walk from the South Gate which is super convenient and the dorm rooms were so comfortable and felt like my own private space with three walls and a curtain around a very large bed. Highly recommend!

The room is very nice, we had 3 beds all partitioned By curtains, so we had a lot of privacy even though I shared my room with 2 other people. I especially enjoyed talking to the staff, especially Panadon and Wan, who were very friendly and happy to answer my many questions about their lives in Thailand, gave me great suggestions regarding loca nightlife and what thai people like to listen to!

Absolutely amazing hostel, very laid back, amazing staff and owner. Whatever happens they got your back. The workers feel more like family than they do workers. I absolutely recommend this place!! It's the best place in Chiang mai

Felt SO great there… everybody was so helpful and kind, made me feel like home and gave me very good local tips for places to visit and travel. Breakfast was also excellent and I had wonderful vibes at the lobby and could also sleep well and calm in the dorms. So good I went back 2 times between visits in nearby cities!! Hugs from Brazil Pappy, Taae, Natee, Natthaan, Khan and everybody else in the staff!!! (sorry for probably misspelling your names, but I’ll remember all of you hahaha!!)

Best hostel of my trip! I booked the most affordable option and got a really nice queen size bed in a dorm of 3 people. Even had a wall dividing the beds. Breakfast is good, bathroom is good, everything is new and the location is great. Only thing is its not a party or social vibe

Top, très bien situé à 5 minutes à pied du vieux centre, un des meilleurs dortoirs dans lequel j’ai dormi, pas de lit superposé, un espace individuel bien pensé, je recommande

Not a very social hostel. But the facilities are top notch. Recommended for someone who wants to spend some alone time. Also, the free breakfast is really good!

Great hostel! They organize afew activities a week and there are opportunities to socialize(not party). The beds are a highlight.

fantastic stay, really liked the dorm room work the more private cubby design but still chance to socialize. facilities were always tidy, breakfast was great, staff were friendly, and location just outside the busy Old City with plenty around and quick 5min walk in. Would stay again!

Overall amazing stay, the rooms are modern and comfy, lots of activities to join, everything was clean. The outdoor area is super nice too! Only thing I will say is that I went to extend my stay and was given a confirmation, only to find out the next day that they had double booked the bed and didn’t have room for me. They said they “couldn’t find me” to tell me, but they could’ve easily emailed or texted because they had my info. I had to last minute book another place.

This is definitely not a party hostel and I like it because of that. it's really chill and very clean. Yes, they charge a lot for deposit but it just ensures keycards are returned. Loved hanging out at reception and the loft has plenty of air circulation. Having the dogs around added to the charm of the hostel.

Overall good hostel, staff are friendly, clean rooms and the beds are comfy! But the shower flooded the whole bathroom every time we used it…

Très calme comme endroit, bien situé. Personnel agréable et généreux de leur temps. Plusieurs excursions suggérées sur place. Bien situé, à distance de marche des attraits touristiques. Chambre avec grand lit double (Attention, les gens peuvent booker deux dans le même lit. Ma chambre à 5 lits s'est vite transformé en une chambre pour 7 personnes ce qui n'était pas prévu, voulant de la tranquillité...

Excellent breakfast buffet. Great beds. 100% perfect for a first night after a long flight.

I had an very nice stay at The Entaneer! It’s very close to the Old Town and lots of Markets are around. It’s rare to find a Hostel without Bunk Beds, everyone gets his own little Corner with plenty of space for storage. Even though it's not a party hostel, there are still plenty of activities and options to meet new people.
