Ha Giang City Hostel

Not that great, the location is near a bussy road far from the city centre en it is not cosy.

j'avais réservé un dortoir exclusivement pour les femmes et je me suis retrouvée dans un dortoir mixte. la localisation est vraiment pas top mais parcontre le personnel est très sympa et les chambres sont très propres.

Decent stay, our private room was really small and had weird holes in the wall. Otherwise good.

Chambre prive plutot bien mais douche bouché + enormement de bruit la nuit

Dans l'ensemble bon hostel, personnel bienveillant et aidant, j'ai trouvé que c'était plutôt propre jusqu'à ce que je remarque des petits cafards dans ma chambre, une dizaine courrait partout lorsque j'ai soulevé mon sac du sol. Ceci dit, cela ne m'a pas empêcher de passer une bonne nuit de sommeil !

The hostel was fine for the purpose of staying there for a Loop tour. The owner is very nice and helpful if anything is needed. I would recommend anyone to book their Ha Giang Loop through this Ha Giang City Hostel. The owner will walk you through the routes and options, and are offering the tours at a good price. The easy riders were very very friendly, funny and service minded, and we ended up having 3 really great days with good local experiences.

Der Loop war super mit diesem Veranstalter, sehr zu empfehlen. Das Hostel fühlt sich eher wie ein Hotel an und ist auch nicht wirklich in der Stadt gelegen. Um den Loop zu machen, zu empfehlen, um länger hier zu bleiben und mit anderen in Kontakt zu kommen eher nicht.

The staff was very helpful! We booked the ha Giang loop through them, and it was amazing. I would really recommend booking the loop through this hostel.

We had a great stay at the City Hostel. The hostel itself and the rooms are clean, the breakfast is great and the staff and owner are attentive and willing to help with anything you need. I really recommend.

Stayed for one night after doing the loop. Met all my expectations, good stay.

Amazing hostel!! They were so so friendly and helpful. We rented a motorbike from them to do the loop and they refunded us one day, as we came back a day early. They also booked us a bus back to Hanoi. I needed to go to an atm to pay for everything and they were kind enough to take me there on a scooter! They also made us breakfast even though we got there later than everyone else. The room was nice and clean too. Highly recommend :)

Myself, my Grandson & his girlfriend stayed overnight at Ha Giang “City Hostel” on 18/01/2026. Rose gave us a warm welcome and took us to our rooms which were spotlessly clean, spacious, comfortable beds, on suite bathroom with plenty of hot water. We had a quiet restful sleep and in the morning Rose and staff cooked our breakfasts which was very enjoyable. Thank you Rose for a wonderful stay at your beautiful City Hostel, we all highly recommend this Hostel’s private rooms to everyone....

It was a really nice hostel. The cleanest I have been to! They organize the loop by themselves and it was amazing! I had a small group with 4 people and we were so close after only a few moments. Also the drivers were friendly and fun! My driver got me the princess treatment the whole time. Lots of greetings to my driver Dai! Warm regards

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und die gebuchte Ha Giang Loop Tour mit dem Ha Giang City Hostel war ein der schönsten und abenteuerlichsten Erfahrung auf unserer Reise durch Süd-Ost-Asien. Die Driver/Guide’s der Tour waren sehr fürsorglich, unterhaltsam und lustig. Machte extrem viel Spaß mit der Gruppe. Kann ich jeden nur empfehlen!

i had an amazing stay in the city hostel. everything was so clean. the staff was super friendly and helpful. i booked the ha giang loop one night befor and it was one of my best experience ever. the group was amazing our riders where the cutest and nicest people on earth. gonna miss them. sung was our leader and driver and i felt super safe with him on the motorbike after the loop the hostel let me stay one more night and also booked me a bus to sapa. all in all, everything was amazing!

An excellent hostel, very clean, a good breakfast on the top floor with nice views and the staff are great, friendly, efficient and very helpful. I would recommend this hostel to any traveller.

We were staying at a private room her, which was clean and nice. We also did the Ha Giang Loop with the guys from the Hostel, which was a 10 out of 10🥳 Absolute recommendation!
