It is correct for one or two nights..the man IS discrète but friendly.. this hostel IS a bit too sad and quiet..I booked one room for me alone, too expensive..compared to an hôtel...
Nice, charming place in Inveraray. Free parking, kitchen, bathrooms and rooms were good. The only thing I can complain about is the price, it’s too expensive for a solo traveler. If they can’t hire a single bed I don’t understand why they call themselves a hostel, since if I wanted to pay for a whole room I’d go to an hotel. Other than that, everything nice.

Very nice, quiet and well located small youth hostel
It was so easy I walked in and was sorted out with room and keys everything was explained, (time door was locked security no were all amenities were) it was very friendly, same with people who were staying, kitchen was big enough for all to use, the hostel is is only 2 minutes walk from town, it was nice and clean plenty of parking, just great thanks 👍.
we loved our stay at Inveraray Hostel. The facilities are clean and well equipped. The hostel is located right near the loch, many shops and bars. It's also very close to the castle, and some gorgeous walk paths. The staff is very friendly, we were welcomed with some home-made Apple streussel cake and oriented towards activities to do during our stay. Would definitely recommend !
Great big kitchen with everything you need to make a meal, coffee, tea and milk. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Really affordable where otherwise it's quite expensive to stay. If there was any soap in the shower I would've had to give it an 11/10
We spent wonderful 6 nights in Inveraray hostel. We loved every minute of it! :) James is running beautiful, warm and welcoming place with charming garden. Everything was clean and well equipped. We enjoyed our stay despite bad weather :).

What a lovely place. Relaxed atmosphere. Facilities excellent. Drinks and milk available for free. Cooking facilities good and washing up facilities excellent with plenty of dry tee towels. Everything spotless. Lovely comfy snug area. Plenty of parking. Good atmosphere created by host and other guests. Would definitely go again.
Fantastique hostel, situé dans le village d'Inverraray, à distance de marche de quelques (petits) supermarchés, de restaurant et du château. L'hostel possède tous les équipements de base nécessaires: draps, serviettes, cuisine très bien équipée, avec épices, huile. Café et thé fournis gratuitement. Les chambres sont simples et propres. Les salles de bain aussi. Excellent accueil de la part du proprio et atmosphère super relaxe sur place.
Fantastic hostel, located in the village of Inverraray, within walking distance of a few (small) supermarkets, restaurant and the castle. the hostel has all the necessary basic amenities: sheets, napkins, very well equipped kitchen, with spices, oil. coffee and tea provided free of charge. the rooms are simple and clean. the bathrooms too. excellent reception from the owners and super relaxed atmosphere on site.

A peaceful and magical place
reminded me of summer camp. location was excellent, very close to the harbourfront and to Inverary castle.
The welcome and atmosphere at Inverary Hostel helped us feel safe and relaxed immediately. The rooms were spotless and the facilities excellent. We also saw a red squirrel in the car park! We will definitely come back!

Excellent experience in the hostel Manager is kind, helpful and makes the stay great Facilities are functional, clean and quiet Kitchen is tiny but you’ll find all you need Inveraray town is pleasant to visit
Très jolie auberge et très bien tenue, propre et spacieuse. Le personnel est adorable et très serviable ! Les équipements très complets, ludiques et l'atmosphère est agréable avec une jolie décoration qui met les visiteurs à l'aise. Très bonne adresse, je recommande ! :D
