Rude female staff. Placed in a mixed form which stank. The room was filthy and full of old creepy men. If you’re a young solo backpacker looking to hang out with backpackers you won’t find your fellow travel buddies. Just full of old creepy men. The toilets stink of urine. Filthy showers. And don’t get me started on the rude unwelcoming female staffs at receptions. Absolutely incompetent and rude ! Never ever again.

Nous avons fait une réservation en groupe de 5 pour 3 nuits. Le dortoir 105 nous a été attribué. La dernière nuit l’une d’entre nous a été à deux nombreuses reprises piquée par une ou plusieurs punaises de nuit de très grosse taille - donc présentes depuis longtemps - leur présence ayant été constatée visuellement par la personne concernée dans son lit ainsi que par une autre dans le lit au dessus. Informé le matin du départ l’hôtel refuse d’effectuer un remboursemen...

Nous avons séjourné dans cet hostel tout début septembre et malheureusement notre expérience a été décevante. Plusieurs désagréments ont fortement impacté la qualité de notre séjour (le silence n’est pas respecté la nuit, la climatisation ne marchait pas…). Nous sommes allés plusieurs fois nous plaindre à l’accueil, sans réelle solution. Nous avons contacté l’établissement à plusieurs reprises pour demander une compensation, mais à ce jour nous n’avons reçu aucun...

GOT SCABIES FROM THIS HOSTEL PLEASE READ!!!! We stayed at Hostellicious in Faro and unfortunately had one of the worst travel experiences of our lives — we left with scabies. We arrived late at night, exhausted from traveling, and went straight to bed. The next morning, we noticed tiny black specks all over the sheets. At the time, we weren’t sure what they were — maybe lint, dirt, or sand. We voiced our concerns to the front desk, that did change our sheets but we didn’t think too muc...

Air conditioning unit didn’t work in the room so it was like a sauna. People were also partying until 6am and smoking inside so didn’t get any sleep. Worst place I’ve stayed so far

The staff needs re educating. They they that they above else. They requested 10 euros deposite. But upon checking out she said there’s no deposit. She also also she will send once she speaks to here boss. So even for tiniest thing like you have to wait. FYI they still haven’t replied.

Das Hostel war total überteuert für unser Einzelzimmer für 2 Personen. Vor dem Hostel ist ein Platz wo es die ganze Nacht sehr laut war. Sauberkeit war gut und die Mitarbeiter nett. Ich kann das Hostel insgesamt nicht empfehlen.

i spent a horrible night there. can't recommend to anyone.

I was charged twice. Horrible staff. I had an issue with my payment and ended up booking a wrong date. Contacted the hostel, Daniela said she would change the date for me. In the end she changed her mind and charged me twice. That's not how you care about customers! The cleaners work really hard. There is nothing to see or do in Faro.

Amazing hostel! Located close to basically everything and the staff is super friendly! Really clean and the facilities are great!

Enjoyed my stst. A large hostel with good kitchen dining room and lounge facilities. Very central but away slightly from tbe main commercial and old town areas. Large common mixed toilet and shower facility which some may find a little awkward but isn't that uncomfortable. A bit noisy late at night but to be expected. Overall, a good stay and met a number of travellers repeat visits , which is a good comnendation.

My bicycle was stored safely inside overnight

bathrooms were disgusting, shared with everyone on the floor so they got dirty quick. location was good and beds were comfy.

Ongoing bed bug problem that doesn't seem to be taken very seriously / communicated transparently, judging by the hostel's reaction to google reviews complaining about the issue. Mattresses packed in plastic, at least one room sealed with tape. I did not experience any bed bugs personally, but all of this together (+ the fact that bathrooms are mixed gender and also this wasn't apparent to me when I booked the place) made me feel a littl unsafe and very uncomfortable.

Was in a good location with friendly staff, however the rooms were super hot with th AC in 24° as well as the sheets were dirty and the showers sucked

The hostel was nice with really nice staff. Nothing proper to complain about I just myself prefer when women's and men's shower's are seperate but they were stalls you could lock so it was all fine :)

El hostel en general esta bien pero tiene un problema que deben resolver a mi entender. El horario de silencio es las 11.00 y entre las 12.00 y 2.00 am el ruido es infernal de gente entrando, saliendo, corriendo por escaleras. La recepcion deberia controlar este aspecto.

Stayed in a private room here which was great with a nice comfy bed, private balcony and modern/clean bathroom. Kitchen facilities and lounge were good. Didn’t seem to be much of a social vibe but maybe it wasn’t busy or was down to me being in a private room. I got the sense the hostel tries to organise events without much take up but I could be wrong. Overall I enjoyed my stay and it was perfect as a base to explore the city.

Wir waren in einem Damen-Schlafsaal untergebracht, das ein Fenster zur Straße hatte. Neben dem Hostel gibt es eine einzige Bar, in der bis 5 Uhr morgens draußen gesessen wird. Man konnte jedes Gespräch hören, es war unfassbar laut, auch mit Ear-plugs. Wenn das Fenster geschlossen war, ging es, jedoch hatten wir dann keine Luft im Zimmer. Es wurde heiß und man konnte kaum atmen. Die Klimaanlage kann nur über die Rezeption ein- und ausgeschaltet werden. Sie schalteten die AC nach 30 min wie...

Unterkunft war gut, sehr sauber, außer dass zwischen Wand und Bett Müll lag und an der Decke der Dusche viele kleine Viecher waren. Küche dagegen war sehr ordentlich und viel Platz zum Kochen. Die Lage war super.

Great stay at Hostellicious, even for one night. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The facilities were modern and overall a great stay!

Really cute hostel with nice chill areas, especially the terraces. a few weird older men made me feel a bit unsafe at times. But erything is very clean, beds are comfy and the staff is very nice.

I really enjoyed my stay! The common areas are quiet and it is really easy to get to know people. The dorms were a bit too warm for me and I did not really like that the bathrooms are mixed, but except that I’d definitely recommend!

Staff really lovely and the private rooms were really nice! Hostel is in a good location to get to restaurants and bars. It was fairly quiet but this is probably because it was off season.

Super friendly staff at reception. We booked an all female dorm, it felt very safe, especially because of the lock. Overall I would 100% recommend!

Ubicación ideal, instalaciones modernas y muy limpias considerando la cantidad de gente que hay (también depende mucho de los huéspedes que haya, nosotras estuvimos contentas). Buen ambiente, se respeta el silencio y sensación de seguridad; aunque lo mejor es el nombre del hostal

Felt welcomed from the moment I stepped in the hostel and greeted with a smile and kindness. All the staff were great and helpful. would definitely return back. Muito obrigado🙏🏾❤️
