HI Martha's Vineyard

Compared to the price of all other ways to have a place to stay on the island, it is your best option but more than I pay for a hostel stay elsewhere. They offer a simple breakfast (bananas, oatmeal, cereal bars, pancake mix) which is always appreciated. Coffee and tea are always available. The beds suffice but only a few have outlets nearby. I was there on a quiet weekend end of the season so the hostel wasn’t full, but I imagine the showers would not be enough on a busy weekend.

Only real problem was another guest coming in and out of the room every 5 minutes all night. Guest laundry would be helpful as the location is so remote.

For staying on Martha’s Vineyard for this cheap, honestly a great spot. In comparison to hostels in Europe for half the price, not impressive. Showers were a bit gross but manageable. Facilities are like a summer camp and the location is quite far from things on the island but I still enjoyed my stay.

MV’s currently in a housing crisis, most of the people staying here were actually workers on the island. The location is not great for walking. Biking to Oak bluffs, vineyard haven or edgartown ranges from 20-40 minutes. There is a bus stop across the street which we didn’t try out. Ubers/ Lyfts from Oak bluffs late at night kept canceling and busses don’t run that late just and fyi! Multiple stoves in large kitchen. We only were here to shower and sleep so did the job for us I would stay ...

This place was so cute! I said it felt like Summercamp - turns out it is a youth Summercamp at some point in the summer. Large kitchen, plenty of showers and space, staff was amazing, even some outdoor shower stalls if you want to be adventurous. The only downfall is it is kinda out of the way of the hot spots on the island - but the bus route goes right to the hostel, so it was an easy solve. For late night endeavors, there are taxis (expensive) that go pretty late.

It’s in a woodsy area. I loved sitting in the garden to eat. Huge kitchen. All very clean and comfortable.

Great spot. Very clean, nice staff, low key atmosphere. Beds were comfortable and dorm mates were courteous.

Lovely hostel with friendly staff, big common areas and a nice social atmosphere with all the other guests.

My first time staying at hostel. Never imagined sharing space bunk bed style and communal bathrooms/showers at this point in my life but the staff was amazing the atmosphere very friendly and welcoming. The only negative from my POV is how far it is from Oak bluffs. Otherwise I would recommend the hostel to anyone traveling alone or seeking inexpensive space. Thank you for a memorable experience

This is my second time here and again I enjoyed my stay. The staff is helpful and pleasant. There is even an occasional live musical performance! Thanks Ryan! His guitar solos are relaxing and exceptional. What a talent to witness. The kitchen is clean and stocked with breakfast staples. Again, I met new and interesting people! See you again next year and thanks for such a wonderful experience.

Love the vineyard and love meeting people from all over the world! Hostel has great staff and is in a quiet spot up island, central to all places on island.

This was my first stay in a hostel and it was great! The location is a little far from the main parts of the island but accessible by bus which stops at the hostel. No complaints, except the water pressure in the showers wasn’t great. Staff was super sweet and accommodating :)
