loved my stay here! the location is beautiful, a more local island but still super easy to get to toursit attractions. everyone is super friendly also! the only negative is the 12 bedroom room only has one bathroom with a transparent shower stall so you have to use it one at a time which is a bit hard with 12 people.
Poor experience. The whole building is in a bad condition - not well maintained, didn't feel especially clean, etc. Staff weren't particularly helpful, approachable, or interested. Lockers in shared rooms were falling apart - a loose screw managed to puncture one of our bags when trying to put it in. Bathrooms were awful - far too few for the number of people on each floor. Showers had transparent doors (at least for men), and were generally not clean every time I went in. Good location though.
The location is beautiful but only reachable by water bus (late nights you might have to wait a while). Staff is super kind and the facilities are pretty good. Overall pretty good stay
Estuvimos por dos noches con mi amiga y fue muy cómodo, tiene áreas comunes muy bonitas. Fue fácil de llegar. La isla es muy tranquila y segura. La atención del personal es excelente y cuenta con lo que es almacenamiento posterior al check Out
We had such a great stay!! The staff was super kind and one of the members of staff kept bringing other travelers to talk to my friends and I. The facilities were clean and the common area was welcoming. The only thing is you will need to use the water taxis while you stay here because this hostel is not on the main island of Venice. It was not an issue for me, there was a water taxi running at all hours of the night. Also just a heads up, towels are 5€ to rent.
Bastante bien todo, las camas tienen cierta privacidad. Solo dos duchas e inodoros para mujeres para todo un piso no es suficiente y los baños no son cómodos. te hacen pagar para un locker si necesitas dejar tus cosas antes del check in (creo que por el precio debería estar incluido). La ubicación es agradable pero te conviene comprar el pack del vaporetto ya que al estar del otro lado del río es la única forma de moverte
Was moved rooms multiple times after unpacking due to last minute group bookings, the rooms stunk, cleaning staff were incredibly rude. Very overpriced in the cafe downstairs, I was charged €7 for a small sugar free redbull.
loved this hostel and it’s convenient location. great staff and the restaurant and bar were nice . rooms are quite packed so it gets very hot in there

I was in a female dorm where there were 8 of us sharing a room and a bathroom. The air conditioning didn't work so it was quite hot. It wasn't very spacious and there were no curtains😬 The hostel is located on the island of Giudecca which is on the other side of the center of Venice. It was easy to get back and forth, but there's not much to do on the island. Overall I had a nice stay, but would probably choose a place where there was more activities, restaurants and bars nearby
The hostel has several issues, including a transparent shower with no lock, which feels unsafe for women. My main problem was check-in. I had a valid driver’s license, a certified copy of my passport, and a photo of it. They told me to get a “denuncia”. I went to three police stations, all said my documents were sufficient. One officer even called, saying the hostel was being unreasonable. They still refused. After I got the document, they insinuated the call and the document were fake. De...
The beds springs make noise nd pillow ever low. No bottom sheet so just one sheet and comforter so I just added regular sheet over the plastic part. Not much space at all between beds, bearly haul out the dresser… would be better if they had two less beds in the room to have more room to get out of your bed. But it’s just a place to sleep but was more expensive than other place, they don’t allow food. nothing to gather people -be better if they did esp being on a island away from home he ...
Lovely hostel, not far from the water boat. Has everything you could need and a cafe/bar down in the lobby area. Only downside was the bathroom shared between multiple rooms of 16 being pretty small and 2 showers.
Alright hostel, nothing more nothing less. Location is fun, its a different island but takes some time to get to the main part. Beds are good, showers pretty dirty and very small. People working there were very nice though. Not the most social hostel but its alright.
Hi, I received excellent service at Generation, only one thing bothered me: the lack of compatible outlets and having to buy an adapter. But I would definitely return, thank you!
Excelente Hostal
Un hospedaje muy cómodo, silencioso y personal amable. Ubicación práctica para poder coger el vaporetto para ir a las deferentes islas. Muy recomendable.
Ich übernachtete zwei Nächte in einem 16-Bett-Zimmer. Ich liebte den Ausblick vom Hostel aus. Ich empfand das Hostel als eher schmutzig und nicht sehr gastfreundlich. Man merkt, dass das Hostel an den Gästen verdienen möchte, Ausstattung, was in anderen Hostels gratis ist, kostet hier. Das Bad war leider nicht sehr sauber und die Dusche hatte keinen Raum, um sich umzuziehen oder Dinge abzulegen. Ich vermisse einen Gemeinschaftsraum, wo man sein eigenes Essen aufbewahren und konsumieren kann�...
The rooms are good, basic but comfortable beds. The bathroom has 2 toilets and 2 showers, there is not that much privacy. The room was perfectly clean, bathroom was Okee. I felt a little bit weird brushing my teeth there, but for a short stay totally fine. Overall the employees were all really nice and helpful. Sadly there is no kitchen or area where you can eat your own food, but the cafe is ok and not that expansive. Nice location, it’s a 2 minute boat ride to the main, just expensive
Gutes Hostel, netter Aufenthaltsraum, Lage ist toll, weit genug weg von den großen Touristenströmen, gleichzeitig aber sehr gut angebunden an das Stadtzentrum! Einzig fehlt es an Haken um z.B. das Handtuch und Kleidung aufhängen zu können. Die Bäder sind relativ eng und könnten etwas größer sein.
