B&B San Giacomo Venezia

After communicating with the host regarding our late check in, Davide agreed to leaving us keys to let ourselves in. However, when we arrived we found that he never left keys for us to enter the apartment. I called and texted, but all of this was ignored by Davide. This resulted in us having to sleep outside of the train station because everything else in the area was booked. I’m still waiting to receive a refund on my deposit and I never heard back from Davide. Very disappointed!

the bed was very awful and the breakfast not that great moreover it's very very noisy but the staff was nice and the localisation Is rather practicle

Location, facilities, atmosphere, rooms were absolutely beautiful and amazing -- My only complaint would be the disorganization of the staff. I communicated my arrival time upon booking through the website and the hostel's website, yet no one was there to let us into the building. Make sure to email or text the B&B with your arrival time directly, or risk being locked out. Very cute bed and breakfast walking distance to all of the main attractions. The host was lovely and we enjoyed our breakfast served in the dining room. The room was a good size for two nights with aircon on request. Shared bathrooms were well maintained.

Really welcoming, nice and cozy accomondation! Perfect of you wanna live close to the city but still not in the very middle of everything. The staff was great as well!

We liked this hostel. There’s also other people in other unit but overall its pretty decent. We just stayed here to sleep. Didn’t used much of the facilities.

Very nice stay at this b&b! It’s a really charming house with everything you need. The owners are friendly and serve personally the breakfast. I would say that the bathroom is quite old, the bathtub and the light buttons could use some renovation. But the bathroom’s style fits nice into the house.

We stayed 3 nights in the place and we liked it very much! The location is excellent and the room was very comfortable for two people. It was very clean and Davide took excellent care of us. The bathroom is large and also very clean, I think the only detail we found was that the shower was a bit uncomfortable, but other than that the rest is excellent.

Love staying at this place. Breakfast was provided and as an American you know that I love a good breakfast. Staff is friendly and kind. Walking distance from train station and all the fun sites in Venice.

Todo perfecto, Davide y su mamá son adorables. El apartamento estaba impecable y muy bonito. El desayuno muy rico, Davide preparó un cappuccino excelente y le propuso a mi amiga celíaca pan sin gluten. Buena ubicación, calles con encanto y un bar justo al lado... Davide nos aconsejó muy bien para organizar nuestro ultimo día y así aprovechar al máximo. Cuando vengan a Paris estaremos encantadas de aconsejarles también 😊 Sara y Coral

I really enjoyed my stay at this accommodation and I highly recommend it. My room was hyper comfy, nice breakfast and quiet location.

Lovely B&B with friendly and welcoming hosts. Relatively near the train/bus station. A bit of walk to attractions such as Piazza San Marcro but it's Venice so you'll enjoy your walk around the city :)

The place surpassed my expectations. I really enjoyed my stay while I was there. I would definitely recommend it to others.

Positives: Great location, nice breakfast ( homemade sweet breads, yogurt, fruit, juice, coffee, toast), huge beautiful room, quiet, free wi-fi, really comfortable mattress and bedding, super clean. Negatives: Confusing procedure to get into the building, the apartment and the room. A few broken fixtures and no drain plug in the bathtub so there seemed to be only one usable full bathroom. Was a bit of an issue one morning but the working shower had good water pressure and a big shower head.

Great place! Service is excellent and the place is very clean. We expected a "normal" hostel but it was as staying in a classic venetian house. It is near from the train station and a bit far away (like 15 min walk) from the most touristic zone so the neighbourhood is quiet. We enjoyed our stay here :)

Great spot, lovely friendly host and delicious breakfast cake! They are not always there but key storage all worked well. Comfy and very centrally located next to a nice square. One small suggestion - the doors could do with some work some are loud or tricky to close! Overall a great choice and recommended.

Davide was an excellent host! We found the location of the room to be in a great spot- close to the train station and only a 20 minute walk to all the main sights in Venice. Davide took excellent care of us and was flexible with check-in. Highly recommend!
