Hostel Santander

Honestly my most bleak experience whilst staying in hostels. We booked the six bed, and yet were put into the nine bed and told it was to accommodate another group. One of our party had a packet of allergy pills and their AirPods stolen, and the hostel seemed to be less of a youth/traveller hostel than was advertised… The staff member we engaged with was pleasant, but all in all I’d avoid this one.

I paid 5€ for the first part then was meant to pay the other when I arrived… but after paying I saw that they only accept check in until 10 PM WHAT THE HELL? All the other hostels put it on their website BEFORE you pay but this one DIDNT and deliberately made people pay first - then they don’t pick up the phone or email you to say “w can refund you your initial payment because we don’t do late check ins”

Me alojaba durante muchos años en hostel . En este viaje tuvo que pagarme hotel. Hay una chica que dice que es voluntaria , y no sabe nada. Primera noche no pude dormir ,no hubo nórdico y se han sorprendido de porque radiador no funcionaba. Era mi primer boche con escalofríos sin dormir . Suigente noche : encendió radiador a tope y sudando la noche. Tercer día un borracho ocupo cama y no había como respirar . Horrible. No hubo atención al cliente , me pague hotel y pedí reembolso de 2 no...

Stayed here in February, was in an 8-person female dorm I believe. The bunk beds were shaky and I also got bed bugs while I was here. It was cold as well at night so not a comfortable experience at all. Otherwise, there were good views of Santander and a cozy living room area. Would not stay here again.

L’ostello è in una buona posizione e il personale è molto gentile. Il rapporto qualità prezzo non è ottima perché per un dormitorio con 6 letti la stanza è troppo piccola con i locker disposti in maniera scomoda. La grande mancanza che si è sentita è l’atmosfera e poche attività organizzate.

Hated the fact that it was a triple bunk bed and the lockers were also stacked meaning as I was top bunk I had the to locker and it was hard to reach it properly. Small kitchen and small common area. Good location and close to public transport and food. Would not say it is very social.

Mal. Los enchufes no funcionaban, al menos los de mi cama. Y eso para mí es inadmisible en un Hostel. E internet no funcionaba en la habitación . Ambas cosas hacen que no pueda recomendarlo.

Triple bunk beds bathroom across the hall. Bathroom drain clogged and flooded. Really cramped

Great location. But unfortunately rooms and bathroom were not the cleanist. staff very helpful and allowed us change room.

Nette Lage, aber nichts für mehrere Tage. Sehr viele Wanderer (wegen der Nähe zum Jakobsweg) und das manifestiert sich im Gruppenschlafzimmer (es riecht dezent). Matratze war durchgelegen und alles in allem war alles immer so ein bisschen kaputt... Für eine Nacht komplett ausreichend, für mehrere sollte man es sich überlegen. Personal war hingegen super und die Lage ist natürlich komfortabel.

Very nice place and location. Beds can be a little but noisy tho.

l'ostello é in Uma posizione centrale con bella vista sul Paseo de Pereda e sulla baia. È semplice ed è arredato con cura. Il personale è accogliente e gentile. Si respira una atmosfera dinamica e giovanile. L'unico neo è stato il rumore assordante della piazza vicina per i concerti e le chiacchiere della gente, trattandosi della seconda parte di luglio

me encantó el hostel , tiene muy buena ubicación, el personal que atiende son muy simpáticos, María es encantadora,está al pendiente de que todo esté bien ,el lugar es muy acogedor ,sin duda volveré

The hostel’s facilities were just okay, nothing fancy. But what really made my stay was how warm and friendly the staff were.

Hombre! Esto es el mejor hostel que vi en toda mi vida. Vale la peña visitarlo no importa quien eres y que es tu estilo de viajar normalmente. El hostel es un experiencia en su mismo!

I had a great time staying at this hostel. Erick was a fantastic host and it was close to everything I wanted to go. I would definitely stay here again.

Ostello in pieno centro. Personale molto gentile.

Had a very pleasant stay at the hostel. A perfect location and all the necessary services. Also the staff is very friendly and helpful, they will advise you and give recommendations about the city. I got much help from Erick.

I was glad to find a bed there at the last minute when my other hostel cancelled on me. It's just a small hostel, but it has a lovely common area with a little balcony and a nice atmosphere to eat or just chill in. Also, the staff was very friendly and especially Erick was very helpful and fun to hang out with.

The hostel had friendly and helpful staff and was in a good location, however the rooms could be more comfortable and the hostel didn't feel very social
