Hostel Casa La Cha

Everything was clean, a lot of space in the room. However, it was lacking the social atmosphere, there is no real common area to hang out (couches, hammocks) which makes it difficult to meet other people!

Not for solo travelers. No common areas, the advertised rooftop didn’t exist, and I was alone in a room with no secure lock, which felt unsafe. When I asked to switch rooms, the receptionist laughed. I left a day early. When checking out at 4 PM, I waited 20+ minutes at reception and called several times — no one answered. Major safety concern. Only positive was the cleanliness. Would never return!

The outstanding things about this hostel are the location and the cleanliness. The hostel owner clearly cares a lot about keeping the place clean, since the bathrooms were cleaned two times a day minimum which we really appreciated. Location is fab- maybe as a solo traveller not the most social hostel from our experience but it’s definitely possible to meet people here. I would definitely recommend.

Loved this place! The staff were supernice, the location absolutely perfect and nice atmosphere. We rented 4-person room but got the room for our self (with balcony), which was amazing. Wish we stayed longer 💘

I stayed 2 nights in Hostel Casa La Cha and I loved it a lot! It’s a family run place and they took really good care of me and my friend. Totally recommended

Non riesco davvero a trovare difetti, posizione centrale, bellissima vista sul mare, personale cordiale è stato molto bello.

Por mais que tenha ficado 1 dia lá, o hostel e muito bem localizado, fácil acesso para tudo, tudo muito limpo e todos simpáticos. Não tem interação ou atividades com as outras pessoas, mas fora isso, tudo perfeito.

Hostel Casa La Cha in Novalja was the highlight of my Croatian vacation! The place is perfect, with all the amenities you need and is one of the best-equipped hostels I've stayed at. The atmosphere was welcoming, the staff was fantastic, and I made amazing connections. Highly recommended! 🌟

Casa La Cha was one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in! The location is right by the sea in the center of Novalja, with an amazing view from the balcony! It’s super clean, and the staff are really nice and friendly! The kitchen is well-equipped, and there are lockers inside the room, giving you a safe place to store your belongings. I only wish the atmosphere had been a bit better, though everyone was friendly!

Great hostel with a great location looking over the water. The staff make it feel like home and there is a great lounge area for meeting people. We had a balcony which was great as well. While we were there nearing the end of the shoulder season in May, the atmosphere encouraged meeting people.

I had an outstanding time during my stay at this cute and cozy Hostel, located on the edge of the sea. The staff is always around and busy cleaning, serving, and taking care of its guests in the best manner possible. The professional kitchen is a joy to cook in. And the Wi-Fi connection really helps...Especially if you're worried about roaming charges. It has a pool table in front right next to the bar. And they also serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner there.

Best place to stay in Novalja without a doubt, no need to try others. The personnel is incredibly welcoming, facilities including the bar, garden and terrace, rooms and bathrooms are Top. Located 50 mts from the beach, in the centre of Nonext to Restaurants and Bars, and more importantly in front of the ocean. The rooms with a Balcony and ocean view are great.
