Hostal Tres Central

!AVOID! I booked a dorm for three nights, and when arriving to the hostel the staff didn't seem great at all and did not show me to my room. But the worst was my dorm. It did not have working aircon/fan and no wifi in my dorm, what the hostel advertised that it does. Furthermore, the door from the balcony let's all the noise from the road in, and the beds are incredibly noisy. I did not sleep for a minute, so first thing the next morning I left even though I had two more days booked. TERRIBLE!

No working wifi, rude staff, only price and location is good.

No breakfast! No sense of community like the other hostels I’ve stayed at. Rooftop bar is the only nice thing. Disappointing in all other regards

Ik heb hier verbleven eind oktober, het was hier heel rustig. De bar boven was gesloten en er was heel weinig beweging in het hostel. Perfect voor 1 of 2 overnachtingen maar niet meer. Heb de dagtrip naar Canon del sumidero gedaan vanuit het hostel wat wel een aanrader was!

It was new property but you should known if any disabled travelers comes for reservations to accommodate in ground floor . Irrespective of booking. Make one dorm in ground floor. I was disappointed they alloted me 2 nd floor, for water I had to come down , they responded to call. Very disappointed

The hostel is nice but you got a restaurant on the rooftop and there is basically any place to chill or meet other people in the hostel. The rooftop restaurant is a bit overprice and you cannot smoke, they have live music that was pretty nice.

We had an okay stay here. The roof top bar is nice, but it’s open to the public as well which means they can also walk around in the rest of the hostel. Dorms have no curtains and the beds are very squeaky. Generally and okay stay

not great. no real communal areas and they lock everything up at around 11 so lacks a sense of autonomy.

Habitación de 4 camas, pero los camarotes sonaban mucho y se movían bastante. Es bueno que te den un locker personal al llegar. Es bueno que cada cama tenga su enchufe de electricidad al lado. El area común es limitada.

I would not need any time, but would book this hostal again when in Tuxtla, MC.

I had a beautiful 3 day visit to Tres Central. It is clean, organized, quiet, and has excellent facilities. Hot water, Air Conditioning, close to the city center. The only thing I missed was the restaurant/bar on the 3rd floor being closed. I was really looking forward to live music so close to my room! I hope they find another tenant soon who will bring live music to that beautiful space. I will be back for sure!

one of the best hostels in mexico! Loved it so much that I cancelled a couple days somewhere else and stayed- big well designed with great rooms but the best thing about this hostel is the vibe and the staff. Every interaction since arriving 4 days ago has been genuine and pleasant. The vibe in the bar is amazing and Temo be my fav bartender ive come across in travels. Do not choose any other hostel in San Cris

Keine Gemeinschafträume mehr ein Hotel.

Un hostal cómodo, limpio, y bien ubicado además de personal agradable. Hay una cocina pequeña, y me gusta mucho la terraza con un bar y buenas vistas de la ciudad. No había mucho ambiente durante mi visita pero no me molesta.

Quiet central place

Hostal extrêmement confortable, très tranquille et calme et bien situé, propose aussi quelques visites aux alentours

Good hostel, not good if you want to connect with people (atleast from my expirience) but definitely a good stay in a good location.

Very helpful woman at the desk helped us with immigration forms and stuff at 2am before going to guatemala.

Definitivamente me quedaría aquí al regresar a Tuxtla!!! Muy lindo hostal, muy limpio! Y arriba la Terraza muy divertido también!! Todo está a buena distancia.

El hostal está muy bien ubicado, la terraza es espectacular y por las noches muy ambientadla. La cocina es pequeña y no funciona el extractor, pero está limpia y además tiene agua para tomar. La limpieza impecable!! Los de recepción algunos muy amables, pero otro chico se la pasaba durmiendo en los sofás de recepción, viendo series y tiktoks. Siempre estaba lleno de gente sin hacer nada. Las chicas por lo general súper amables, y el tour que contratamos estuvo recomendable.

A clean and good place to sleep in the middle of the city. The staff was amazing, and very helpful with information on how to reach great site seeing spots nearby.
