This B&B is a nice little stay right on the lake. Easy walking access to everywhere. The rooms are neat but don't offer wifi. If you want somewhere to relax and take in the sights for a short term stay then this could be a good contender.
Les hôtes sont très accueillants et gentils et ils m'ont mis dans une chambre supérieure. c'est ok pour une nuit voire deux mais je n'aurais pas fait plus. La chambre est sombre et assez humide. De plus il. n'y pas d'insonorisation donc jentends les hôtes depuis mon lit dans leur salle de bain.
The hosts are very welcoming and kind and they put me in an upper room. it's okay for a night or two but I wouldn't have done more. the room is dark and quite humid. plus there. there is no soundproofing so jentends the hosts from my bed to their bathroom.
Very nice people, only the room was not very clean. Especially the bathroom was not clean. Would recommend it .

Decent place to stay. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. The bathroom didn't have any toilet paper. The housekeeper randomly entered my room twice. She didn't apologize and left the door open, which I thought was rude and made me feel uncomfortable.
Hostel is only 3 rooms and in the house of a very nice family! I had the deluxe room downstairs, tbh smelling quite moldy and humid. The guy who owns the hostel was very very nice though and helpful and made you feel welcome. No food though so just the room and also no keys; they open the door for you every single time. Would change that though but no deal breaker. Overal had a nice experience but perhaps get a dehumidifyer or AC downstairs.

La chambre était parfaitement équipée avec ventilateur et clim ainsi qu’une moustiquaire. Jolie vue depuis le toit terrasse. Venez les soutenir si vous êtes de passage à Kandy et chercher à dormir auprès de locaux.
Lovely break by the lake, in front of the tooth temple. The owners are very helpful and adorable. The room was perfectly equipped with fan and air conditioning as well as a mosquito net. Nice view from the roof terrace. Come and support them if you are passing through Kandy and seek to sleep with locals.

It's a great place to stay, good location and very nice owner, however, it is not a hostel, it's a homestay where you rent a room in a house (I didn't know before booking) so there is 0 hostel atmosphere in case you're after that.
Great clean hostel with lovely hosts! Prime location on the lake - not a buzzing atmosphere - but it’s not meant to be. Overall perfect quite and relaxing hostel for visiting Kandy when the city can be overwhelming!

Very good pick if you need some private space, nicely located close to the lake, everything was clean and tidy. Super kind and helpful hosts, easy communication, I really annoyed the stay!
It's the perfect place for a stay in Kandy. Calm, great location and nice hosts make you feel like you're at home.

26D was a super chilled place to stay, our room was very clean and the bathroom was well laid out. The owners were extremely kind and helpful and the bed was comfy and had a mosquito net!
Great location,lake side,the wind from the Candy lake is so comfortable when we sitting in the corridor outside of room. The owner are so nice,kindly,friendly and helpful. I love Candy because of the stay ,I am sure I will come back if I come to Candy.Thanks

This home stay is superb. The couple that run it are the sweetest people ever and were incredibly helpful planning our time in Kandy and to our next stop. They also made us some delicious tea when we arrived. This space isn’t really for socialising but if you’re looking for a short comfortable stop off in Kandy then this place is perfect.
Very comfortable stay in a home stay just 15 minute walk from Kandy centre. Was a little tricky to find initially but the owner was very helpful and friendly. Recommend if you’d like a quiet place to recharge and relax
