City Hostel - Central Station

It was ok. They did throw my food away even tho it was labeled. You can’t sit up in bed the top bunk is super super low. Security was really good tho. Never spoke to staff. And if I did I didn’t know it.

If you forgot to bring your towel, they charged 5.00 US for a towel, which I feel is too much. The washing sink out in the hallway had very little space to put your items on.

The worst hostel ever. Full of bedbugs it ruined my holidays. Don’t come here or you will regret it later as I did.

they threw all of our food our even though it was labelled with our name, room number and check out date and didn't give any compensation reception closed before they said they would and due to this we couldn't use the washing machine and they didn't let it use on the check out day either

Pro: Location, Security Everything else is bad. This hostel is dangerous. Blocked fire escapes. I had to ask them to fix a dangerous plug socket that they clearly ignored. They take your money 3 days prior despite the conditions stating otherwise and they don't like it when you question them and are rude. Reception hours are really bad. Showers are awful. You feel like you're showering with the devil. I would suggest you think twice about staying here. Rooms hotter than hell with ...

The shared spaces are clean, but the showers need a rethink, because all your clothes inside the cubicle get wet. Facilities are nice, such as the kitchen. The temperature in the shared spaces is nice and cool, but room 18 was horrible!!! No air, too warm, stuffy and hot, even with the fan on I did not sleep at all. Beds are too soft and the bedframes are creaking at every movement. Left after one night, because I couldn't do it. Staff comes in between 10 and 17 hrs, did not see them.

Dormir à 10 dans une cave ! L’auberge est en sous sol, la chambre sentait très mauvais, pas de fenêtre ! Cela devrait être précisé sur le site. Est il autorisé d’avoir des locaux à sommeil sans fenêtre et en sous sol. Inadmissible, de fait mn ambiance n’est pas conviviale car personne n’aime rester dans une cave !

there was no staff anywhere, the showers had sooo much mold on them, no social stuff, kids everywhere, location was good but that was it. showers were grim

Réceptionniste présent seulement 3 ou 4 heures dans l'après-midi... jusqu'à 16 heures. Et plus personne ensuite. Cela est très ennuyeux lorsque vous voulez récupérer vos bagages laissés dans le luggage room

1. Nitpicking but it's a 15-20 min walk from the station, not 10 mins as highlighted in the description, but there's a couple of bus stops close by 2. No social atmosphere at all, 3. You have to put up all the linen yourself which was not so fun to do as I arrived late into the room and just wanted to go sleep 4. The bed was horrible. Super thin and soft mattress which was overused as it was depressed in the center, took me a while to fall asleep and I woke up with a back pain 5. No curtains

The rooms are down in the basement but it‘s allright. It‘s calm.

Bathrooms are too small, you have to change clothes and dry yourself outside of the private showering room, which could be pretty embarrassing. You have to wave your hand in front of a black spot in order to get the showering water, but the equipment is not very flexible and sometimes it could take a long time to get the water out, equipment and space of bathroom are not satisfying.

Hard to use the keypad to get in but otherwise nice

We arrived late at night and easily entered using the code that had been sent beforehand. The interior was very clean and tidy. We experienced no security issues. We felt safe in this area even late at night. It's quite close to the city center and within walking distance. You can explore the whole city without using any transportation. The rooms and beds were very comfortable and clean. The only problem was the noise from some guests at night. However, it was minimal as they were in the kitchen...

Excellent place, visited it for the second time in 3 years. If I am back in Stockholm, definitely a place to get back to.

City hostel har ett bra läge. Rummen är bra. Toalett- och duschutrymmen bra, förutom att en dusch var så varm att man brände sig. Jag fick inte ha min mat ifred i kylen, då den slängdes runt till andra hyllor, och någon verkat kollat in ev tagit av min mat.

Super Hostel! Alles zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir haben für alle Nächte ein kostenloses Upgrade auf eine Privatzimmer bekommen und zusätzlich ein Snackpaket als "Entschuldigung". Küche hat alles was man braucht (Holzschneidebretter wäre aber schöner), mehr Herdplatten wären auch nicht schlecht aber alles ausreichend. Leider kann man die Zimmer nicht Lüften und deshalb hat es auch danach gerochen.

The showers smelled pretty bad a had a lot of mold in tiles. The showers and bathrooms are also separate which is inconvenient, particularly for women. I had requested a towel ahead of time via email which they confirmed and then when I checked in there was no towel on my bed and no one at the front desk to ask and no one answered the phone number listed at the front desk after trying multiple times.

No vi a nadie del staff . Las puertas pesan como la vida y son muy ruidosas al entrar y salir de las habitaciones, dificulta el sueño tanto portazo.

Great facilities very clean, good kitchen showers etc. private room was fine bed comfortable. Good location not too far from main station. Really happy with it

Great friendly little hostel near the central station. Kitchen is enough to cook a meal, and there’s an adjacent lounge when there’s not enough space to eat or to chill after dinner. Make sure you check in online: reception hours are very limited
