The woman on the reception in the daytime was nice, free breakfast was good. Security was bad - when I got back after dark I could walk in the unstaffed gate (without needing key) to the rooms, which are visible from the road. Room door locked but window did not, and there was nowhere secure in the room for valuables. Hostel weirdly empty. Noise from sports hall nextdoor until late, and noise from road. Room smelled musty, mattress was sagging in the middle and there was no soap in bathroom.
Honnêtement, si les toilettes n’étaient pas bouché, que les lits n’étaient pas horribles et sales et que le petit dej était bon, alors ça aurait été un super hôtel! Personnel accueillant et serviable
Honestly, if the bathroom wasn't clogged, the beds weren't awful and dirty and the breakfast was good, then this would have been a great hotel!
Les draps semblent être vieux et ne tiennent pas bien sur le matelas. Le réfrigérateur ne fonctionne pas, il y a des verres blancs dedans. Personne n’est venu vider la poubelle de la salle de bain du dortoir pendant tous les 2 nuits qu’on y était. Elle débordait.
The sheets look old and don't fit well on the mattress. the refrigerator doesn't work, there are white glasses in it. no one came to empty the garbage can from the dorm bathroom during all the 2 nights we were there. it was overflowing.
Nice location off the main drag and includes 1 free hour of kayaking. They love fireworks in the middle of the night in San Pedro so bring some ear plugs!

The facilities were fine. It’s a bit low budget in terms of decor but it’s San Pedro and they are actively trying to improve it. The most important high priority improvement is that the dorms need MUCH better mattresses. If they replace those, it will be the budget traveller’s spot because it is also not right downtown it’s off to the north of town but still a very short walk to all of the “nonsense” that San Pedro is!
