Great place and really comfortable!

Seriously a WONDERFUL Hostel. The people working there are AWESOME and happy to help if you have questions or need recommendations. INCREDIBLY clean, seriously great job to the people working there. And also quiet/dark/private enough to sleep. Highly recommend.

Honestly this was the best hostel I've been to. The beds were so comfortable, good temperature, the most space for luggage I've ever seen, they provide a towel and have wonderful bathrooms!!

This place is the onlyyy place I would stay at if I’m at Reykjavik. Super chill vibe, nice people, comfortable bed, clean everything, and located near downtown. Love it

10/10 hostel. Close to the Main Street, about 15 min walk from BSI, close to stop 9 for tours. Very clean and mostly quiet. Highly recommend.

I had a great stay. It was really easy to walk from the Bus Terminal, and easy to get to many popular attractions on foot. The shared spaces are clean and cozy, and I really enjoyed hanging out in the bar area. The beds were comfortable, and the fact that each bathroom was fully equipped with a shower felt quite luxurious.

I absolutely loved Nordic Hostel. They made it really easy for me to arrive in the middle of the night and be able to get myself in and to my room without any worries.

Gosh. I've stayed at many many hostels around the world, and this place stands out as one of the best. The location is amazing. The staff are great. The kitchen is welcoming and communal and well stocked. Everything was clean. Even though I stayed in the 26 bed dorm, there was more privacy than I was expecting, and also it was quieter than I was expecting.

I absolutely loved this hostel and would 100% come back. Stayed in the 26-bed dorm but it's very spacious, locker storage is huge, and the curtains make your bed feel very private. Bathrooms were massive and always very clean. Staff were generous and very helpful, answered so many of my questions. Whole place has a gorgeous aesthetic and definitely a place you just want to hang out in. Personally felt the location was great, just a 5-min walk to the iconic church and shopping/groceries. 10/10

Der Abzug bei der Sauberkeit kommt durch das Badezimmer. Alles andere war immer top sauber. Allerdings sollten die Gerüche des Klos (Urin) durch gründlichere Reinigung in Griff bekommen werden, da Dusche, Waschbecken alles in einem ist. Ansonsten war alles super und ich würde immer wieder ins Hostel gehen.

Disrespectful people treating it like a private hotel coming in talking at full volume in dorms at 2am. No atmosphere at all, this could be due to coming off season but the dorm was nearly full.

I've never felt so comfortable away from home. The dorms/bathrooms are spacious, clean and well-ventilated. The staff are genuinely happy to help in anyway and are incredibly professional. I was at the Nordic Hostel for 10 nights and I'd stay in the country longer just to be at the hostel a little longer. Nordic Hostel goes above and beyond the bare minimum. It also has a great aesthetic.

This place is great for those who are taking a bus into the city & going from there. From a parking standpoint (as someone who rented a car), the parking situation is a nightmare. Every street is paid parking & I had to park 1 mile away & walk. Everything was fantastic once I was there. Loved the bed pods, it never got too loud, the bathrooms are beautiful and well-kept. Would definitely stay again under slightly different circumstances.

I really enjoyed my stay at Nordic Hostel. It was a bit different to me that I didn’t have to interact with any staff while I was there, and it’s not registered on the Flybus website as a pickup or drop off location when commuting to or from Keflavik airport (go to bus stop #9 when staying there), but nonetheless, great accommodation. Pristinely clean rooms and bathrooms, comfortable beds, really nice common areas. Would highly recommend, and would definitely return.

great place to stay, the sleeping bunks are extra spacey and comfy. love the setup, everything you want and need for a hostel.
