UNPLAN Village Hakuba

Everything was just perfect!

We were charged 5 grand for 7 nights I’d accomodation.

Overall it’s really good. It’s a 2 min walk to the mountain.

Great location, next to the gondola and bus stop to Nagano and a very good breakfast with a nice view.

Perfect place to stay for a ski trip in Hakuba. The quality of the rooms is really hotek worthy (we stayed in a 3 bed private) and the dorms are also beautiful (friend stayed in a 6 bed). A two minute walk from the Tsugaike ski field and bus stop, easy to bus between other mountains. Couldnt recommend more highly. But if you're looking to meet other travellers not the most social vibe but absolutely perfect for us

In terms of ski quality location is 10/10 ! Loved the tree runs at Tsugaike and Cortina! The atmosphere at UNPLAN is relaxed but was able to socialise and hit the slopes with other solo travellers. The staff were accommodating, shout out to Christian and Cookie! If you want nightlife/bars, Happo is a good spot to go to but this is quite far from the hostel. Unfortunately for me my new goggles got stolen from the store room (there’s a bar downstairs) so consider securing items upstairs instead...

Super comfortable stay in Hakuba, steps away from the main gondola in tsugaike. Comfortable, private beds (pod style), very clean, great breakfast included and lovely staff. If you’re looking to party this hostel doesn’t have a very social vibe. Unrelated to the hostel but the local shuttle bus is also not very reliable so it’s not very easy to get around without a car if you want to explore other areas or eat outside of Tsugaike.

Such a nice staff!! I went during summer for some hiking and the location relative to the lifts make it super easy. During summer at-least, there was only a few restaurants close to the hostel and only convenience stores. If you don’t want to get stuck eating cup noodles, I’d recommend grabbing a few things before taking the bus to the hostel. Other then that, a very nice stay!

Beautiful place in the mountain and just next to the gondola station. people there are really kindly and lovely. i recomand it

Great place to stay. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Very short walk to the base of the gondola and ski rentals.

Great hostel but really empty didn’t have any facilities available and nothing around the area. Buses are really infrequently
